LEAGUE BYLAWS:

 

FEES AND PAYOUTS:

League entry fee will be $60.00

$50.00:Will be used for payout

$10.00: Will be used to purchase the league

 

We will be using leaguesafe.com to manage league funds.  

Payouts will be as follows:

CHAMPION: $400.00 (80%)

2ND PLACE: $100.00 (20%)

2020-2021 SEASON:

1. Rule Change: 

NUMBER OF ADDITIONAL IR SPOTS DESIGNATED TO COVID OPT OUTS. (ONLY FOR 2020-2021 LEAGUE SEASON)

2. Cancellation of season: 

A. If NFL season is cancelled before the playoffs, all funds will be refunded to the owners.
B. If NFL cancels season during fantasy playoffs, league prizes will be split between the remaining teams. 

PLAYOFFS:

4 Teams qualify. 2 teams with the best overall record (1 and 2 seed), and 2 Wildcard winners (3 and 4 seed) will compete in the Championship Playoffs. These teams will play for the championship and draft spots 10-7 in the following years draft. The wildcard teams will be seeded 3 and 4 by total points scored. Wildcard teams will be highest scoring teams that are not the top 2 seeds.

The 6 teams that did not make the playoffs, will be given draft positions 1-6, based on total points scored.

 

Championship Playoffs:

 

WEEK 14-

Seeds 1-4 will have a bye week

WEEK 15-

GAME1: #1 vs #4

GAME2: #2 vs #3

WEEK 16-

GAME3: GAME1 WINNER vs GAME2 WINNER -play for 1st(9th pick) and 2nd(10th pick)

GAME4: GAME1 LOSER vs GAME2 LOSER -play for 3rd(7th pick) and 4th(8th pick)

 

YEARLY ROOKIE/FREE AGENT DRAFT:

The Rookie/FA draft will last 5 rounds and will be held in the off season.

Draft spots will be determined by the results of The Championship Playoffs and total points scored by non playoff teams

The Rookie/Free Agent draft is a straight draft, going from picks 1-10, and then back to 1 again.  It is NOT a serpentine draft.  The team with pick 1.01 will have pick 2.01, 3.01, etc., unless any of those picks have been traded.

The Rookie/FA draft shall include any NFL free agents that are not on a current roster, as well as all rookies selected during the NFL draft.  Any players drafted in the supplemental NFL draft after the start of the Rookie/FA draft will be entered into the League free agent pool and be eligible for pickup at the start of the blind bid process. 

 

OFFSEASON: 

In each of the subsequent years, there will be a Roster cut-down deadline after the conclusion of each NFL Season. All rosters must be cut-down to 20 players on a date TBD. Failure to do so will result in the league commissioner cutting players for the team in question. (Cut players will be inverse order of fantasy points scored for the previous season).

During the Off-season, rosters will be allowed to exceed, or be diminished by the yearly requirement of 25 players through rookie/free agent trades and draft acquisitions ONLY. That means NO free agent pickups via waiver wire. A team can choose to cut as many players as they wish and those players will be entered into the rookie/free agent draft.  Any team whose roster exceeds the yearly player limit will be required to release the extra players prior to the start of the Dynasty League Season. The Final cut down date will be determined during the off season.  It will be around the end of August (before the waiver wire opens). This is the date you must have your roster down to 25. 

When the Dynasty League Season begins, any team below the yearly player roster will be required to make blind bid waiver wire acquisitions to meet the in season roster requirements.  

 

FREE AGENCY ACQUISITIONS AND BLIND BIDDING:

The free agent acquisition process is made by way of "blind bidding".  Each team is given $1,000 free agent "dollars" at the start of a season (not real money), which they may use to bid on free agents during a weekly blind bidding process. 

Bids shall be placed individually, or in groups, with conditional bids following the primary bid.  The top bid is the primary bid in a bidding group.  The bids underneath are conditional bids.  If you lose the primary bid, the first conditional bid directly below will be considered next.   If you lose the primary and the first conditional bid, then the second conditional bid will be considered, etc.  The rest of your bidding groups will be processed in the same manner.  A maximum of one player can be won in each bidding group. It's important to remember when placing multiple free agent bids that you cannot win two players if they both have the same drop player.  You may not place different bid amount on the same player. In this case, only the highest dollar bid will be considered. 

Dollar amounts do not determine preference of bids - only the order in which the bids are placed determine preference.  Example: conditional bid #3 can be a higher dollar amount than the primary bid.

The first blind bidding process will run on Wednesday PRIOR to Thursday's Opening Game in NFL Week 1.

Teams are allowed to acquire up to 10 players per waiver wier period.  There are no limitations as to the amount of players may be acquired by a team during the course of the year, provided teams remain within the maximum number of 25 players allowed on each roster.

 

TRADING:

Each trade will have a 24 review period. This allows for owners to veto or allow the trade to pass through. 5 vetos will decline the trade. During the startup draft and the rookie/free agent draft, the league trade review is off.

 

TANKING RULES:

If an owner is found to be tanking in games and not starting their most competitive lineup, the owner will receive the last pick in each round of the rookie/free agent draft.  Each owner is expected to keep the integrity of the league by managing their team to the best of their ability.
