The 2nd team to make the "playoffs" will be the team with the most total points scored during the season (that is also NOT the team with the best W/L record. The 3rd team will be the team with the 2nd most total points scored (and not teams 1 or 2) while the 4th and final team to make the playoffs will be the team with the next best W/L record (that is NOT teams 1, 2 or 3) The Fantasy Schedule is posted on the website.

Winners of each game will advance to Week 15 – then in Week 16, the 2 remaining teams play to WIN THE LOSERS BRACKET. THE WINNER OF THIS BRACKET WILL GET $700!
THE NITTY GRITTY:
• ROSTER – You must have a total roster of 20 players. The roster can be made up of any configuration you please as long as you meet the minimum roster requirements to field a starting lineup of 10 players. There is a flexible lineup that allows you each week the ability to start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DT/ST and 2 FLEX players (RB, WR or TE)
• THE AUCTION – Each franchise will start with $200 in fictional budget dollars by which to acquire players for their roster. Franchises will be randomly given a nomination order in which they will select players to be nominated from the player pool for auction. We will follow a straight nomination order for all 20 rounds - meaning teams will nominate players from team 1 to team 12 and then start back at team 1 again until all teams have 20 players. All players nominated must have a minimum bid is $1 and advances must be made in $1 increments – there are no “cents” in this league. The maximum amount that you can bid on a player is limited to the fact that you MUST be able to spend at least $1 on enough players to have a full roster of 20 players - meaning furthermore that, at the start of the draft, all teams will have a maximum amount to bid on any 1 player of $171 ($200 - $1 x 19). The maximum amount you may bid of course is further reduced as the auction proceeds based on the amount you have spent to acquire players. Bidding will be a "free for all" process where owners may continue to bid on a player until the player is sold - as the frenzy dies down, the facilitator will utilize the old "going once, going twice, SOLD" method of auctioning - once the word "SOLD" is uttered - the auction is considered final and the high bidder wins the player. Should there be a tie in calling out a bid - the auctioneer will attempt to identify the first team that called out the bid.
• SCORING – The scoring is identical to the FFPC and is outlined below. You SHOULD click on “scoring rules” from the home page and see the full details here in case I missed anything here. THE WEB SITE SCORING RULES ARE THE ONES IN EFFECT AND OVERRULE ANY LISTED HERE!!
• SCHEDULE – Mentioned previously and available online.
• LINEUP SUBMISSION – Done via the website. Players Are Locked At Kickoff Of Their Game
• FREE AGENTS – Any player who is not on a team roster is considered a free agent.
Free Agent Acquisitions: The free-agent system will be a “blind bidding” process. Each team will start with 1,000 free agent “dollars” for the season, and will be permitted to bid for free agents on a weekly basis. No team will be informed of any other team’s free-agent bids until after the winning bids have been awarded. The team with the highest bid on any given player will be awarded that player. The amount of the winning bid will be deducted from the winning team’s free-agent dollars. For each winning bid, the winning team must drop a player to make roster room for the free-agent acquisition. If a team’s free-agent dollars go to zero, that team will no longer be allowed to bid for the rest of the season. No bid will be accepted that is larger than a team's free-agent dollars. All bids must be in increments of dollars (no cents).
Bidding Time Frame: The bidding process starts after the completion of Week 1 and ends just prior to Week 13. Bids will be accepted on the league web site from Sundays at 1:00 pm ET until Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:00 pm ET in each of these weeks. Free-agent bidding will be allowed for all teams still in the playoff hunt or losers bracket hunt! There is NO first-come, first-served (FCFS) after waivers.
Conditional Bids: Conditional bids can also be offered. In the event you may lose out on a player, you can place conditional bid(s) for other players during the bidding time frame. The first conditional bid will become relevant only if you lose out on the first bid. Subsequent conditional bids will become relevant only if the previous conditional bid fails. Bids do not require conditional bids. Bids may have several sequential conditional bids, but may not include bidding on the same player more than once.
Number of Bid Limits: There is no limit to the number of bids each week in which bids are permitted.
A. You must use the website to enter your free agent bidding - email requests will not be accepted!
Here is how teams should consider and submit their waiver requests. Read this about how to bid carefully as there are several possibilities depending on how many free agents you want to acquire.
1. Designate the Player you want to drop, the player you want to pick up, and the amount you want to spend from your $1000 blind bidding amount.
EXAMPLE -
Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Kyle Boller - $40
That is simple if you want to acquire just one player.
2. Here is what you need to do if you want to acquire one player from a list of free agents, in case you are outbid on some of them. THIS IS CALLED CONDITIONAL BIDDING. Order the free agent players that you want, and the specific dollar amount that you want to spend for that one player. The ORDER determines who you get from the list, NOT the Amount you spend. So the order that you rank your free agent requests determines who you get, NOT the dollar amount.
EXAMPLE -
1. Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Kyle Boller - $40
2. Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Kordell Stewart - $35
3. Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Vinny Testaverde - $30
4. Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Marcus Pollard - $100
In this example if you are outbid on Boller and Stewart, but you are the highest bidder on Vinny Testaverde, you would receive Vinny Testaverde. The amount of dollars you spend on the free agent is ONLY used to determine which team wins the player. It is NOT used to determine the ranking of who you want.
3. Now, suppose you want to acquire three total free agents in one week. In that case, you must indicate three separate drops from your roster and separate your free agents into three rounds. You can submit the same free-agent players in each round, but you must designate a DIFFERENT player from your roster in EACH round.
EXAMPLE -
Round 1
1. Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Corey Dillon for $40
2. Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Brian Westbrook for $35
3. Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Lamont Jordan for $30
4. Drop Peyton Manning - pick up Priest Holmes for $100
Round 2
1. Drop Willis McGahee - pick up Corey Dillon for $40
2. Drop Willis McGahee - pick up Brian Westbrook for $35
3. Drop Willis McGahee - pick up Lamont Jordan for $30
4. Drop Willis McGahee - pick up Priest Holmes for $100
Round 3
1. Drop Ahman Green - pick up Corey Dillon for $40
2. Drop Ahman Green - pick up Brian Westbrook for $35
3. Drop Ahman Green - pick up Lamont Jordan for $30
4. Drop Ahman Green - pick up Priest Holmes for$100
5. Drop Donovan McNabb - pick up Kordell Stewart for $85
In Round 1, you are not the highest bidder on Dillon, but you are the highest bidder on Brian Westbrook, so Peyton Manning gets dropped and you acquire him for $35. Then in Round 2, Corey Dillon and Brian Westbrook have already been claimed, so they are scratched from your list remaining only Lamont Jordan and Priest Holmes. You end up not winning Lamont Jordan as someone else bid higher than you, but you are high bidder on Priest Holmes so you have Willis McGahee dropped from your roster and Holmes is added. Round 3 you win Kordell Stewart as the highest bidder, and you drop Donovan McNabb from your roster. The other four ranked earlier have already been processed.
So in short,
1. Place your bids here on the site
2. Make sure they are in by 11:00 pm ET on Wednesdays and Fridays just to be safe
3. Follow the bidding outline above.
Tied Bids: If there is a tie, the team that receives the player will be determined in order by:
1. Worst total points.
2. Worst won/lost record.
3. Worst previous week score.
4. Worst QB points total to date.
5. Coin toss.
Available Players: Teams may acquire players not on any roster within their league, with one exception. Players cut from a team after Week 10 (EXCEPT for Kickers and Defenses) may not be re-acquired by any team. This is done to minimize potential collusion.
Trades between managers: To minimize the possibility of collusion, there will be no trading allowed.
Schedule: All teams in the league will play all other teams in once (and 1 other team 1 extra time) over the first 12 weeks of the NFL season (our regular season).
