This is an auction dynasty league with special rules and great payouts.
Commissioner and Treasurer is Cory Smith.
Entry Fee is $70 for league. 12x70=840 $100 goes to the ROI pool. $80 will be used for the website payment. $660 will go to the payout
Addendum: In 2016 we voted as a league that the ROI pool would be won if a team accomplished 1 of these 3 things: Triple Crown (Championship, Division, and total points); Perfect season all the way to championship; End of 5 years total points if the other 2 above aren't accomplished. Top 3 teams will be paid out. 50% 30% 20%
ROI was won last, in the 2019 season. 2024 is the final season of this ROI plan. 2025 will be a resetting year.
We will vote on new rules (SF) as well as payout of ROI pool.
If the league loses 5 teams, then all players will be thrown back in for the following year.
All entry fees must be in by 1st week of season otherwise you will forfeit your games. Exceptions can be made.
Payouts for the League will be: Based on 12 teams ($660): Champion-$200; Runner-up-$100; 3rd and 4th get $30 each; 6 playoff teams get $50. If there are less teams, payout will be amended at that time.
Starting lineups have to have at least 1 starter at every position TE's are considered WR.
Starting lineup format: 1-QB, 1-RB, 1-WR/TE, 5-RB/WR/TE, 1-DEF/ST
**For fairness in the league if a team doesn’t put in a lineup on a certain week, then that team will have the same lineup from the previous week.
Trades: will be allowed thru week 12 of the regular season. Then again in the off season before the next auction draft.
Waivers: Any player not currently on an active league roster is a free agent (NFL players only). Waiver wire will be on a blind bid, so the highest bid will get the player, in the event that 2 or more teams have the same bid the team with the worst record and then the fewest points will get the player. All players released will retain their actual player value (IE if you let Adrian Peterson go and his value is $80 then that is what his value will be in the waiver wire) this will also let you bid higher on the player you are going after as well. Minus your penalty for dropping him.
Won Bids: Any winning bid for $20 or more, must be kept on your roster for that entire week. in other words, if you win a submitted bid on a player, more than $20, said player must be kept on your roster for the entire week. Won bids on players less than $20, may be dropped at anytime. This will prevent any owner from bidding up players on the waiver wire and releasing them, only to increase their salary.
Owners are permitted to submit starting players up until the respective player’s scheduled kickoff. Once a game has begun, all players participating in that game are either locked in as a starter or as a bench player.
Throwing Games
The act of “throwing games”, which is losing on purpose by submitting a lineup full of players that would not normally be started, will not be tolerated. Owners may protest a lineup before the player’s game starts. The Commissioner may then adjust the lineup in question by using pre-game average weekly rankings. Further action, such as the possible removal from the league, may be taken.
**In addition, if you forget to put your lineup in you will receive the points from the previous week's lineup then. Even if that player is on a bye.
Roster Minimums
During the season, you must be able to field a full roster every week. During the off-season owners are not required to field a full lineup or as long as they are able to when the season starts.
Salary Cap will be $250 for the season. You must never go over this! It is not allowed.
NO MORE CONTRACTS
All salaries will bump up each year based on contract inflation of 1.2 for the 2nd year and 1.3 for the 3rd year and 1.4 for the 4th year. Contracts that are $5 under, will go up $3 for the 2nd year and $5 for the 3rd year and $7 for the 4th year. Then 1.3, and 1.4 and so on. Contacts that are $6 to $10 will go to $12 the first year, then go up 1.3 and 1.4 for the next years. (IE Adrian Peterson is $80 and you sign him for 3 years then his salary is $96, $124 the following years)
Cut down date will be two weeks before the auction. The commissioner will cut your rosters after the expiration date.
Contact me if you need extra time. As long as I know, I will make adjustments up to auction time if needed.
The league has a right to kick anyone out that causes problems.
Injured Reserve
When they go on injured reserve their salary will be added to your salary cap. (IE Adrian Peterson $80 will be added to your current salary cap.) In other words, it won't go against your cap.
In addition, if your player is out before the auction you are allowed to put the player on injured reserve. This rule only applies to players that are out before the auction.
The day of the Auction
If for some reason someone is unable to make the auction. They must find someone to be present in their place. If there is an emergency situation that causes someone to miss out, we will discuss as and decide the best action to take as a league. If you cannot be present and cannot find someone to replace you, let us know, we may be able to find someone for you. This is only fair way to do this, so PLEASE everyone make it a point to make the auction each year.
Any questions will be addressed so please ask!!
Commissioner has final say and can make changes as needed.
