Salary Cap
In-Season Salary Cap: $2,500
Off-Season Salary Cap: $3,000
In-Season Salary Cap
Deadline to be within the “In-Season Salary Cap” is 11:59:59 PM on May 31 each season. This is not “Draft Ready” they are similar but different.
To be at or under the “In-Season Salary Cap” one of the following conditions must be true:
Roster = 16 Mandatory Spots, and Team Salary is at or under the “In-Season Salary Cap”
Roster < 16 Mandatory Spots, and Team Salary is under the “In-Season Salary Cap” by (missing mandatory spots * $50)
In the event a team is not at or under the In-Season Salary Cap by the deadline, a Salary Cap penalty will be accessed by the amount over the In-Season Salary Cap. The team will then have to drop players to get at or under their new Penalized Salary Cap, and still meet the conditions of 8.2
Draft Ready
Deadline to be “Draft Ready” 11:59:59 PM on the Sunday before the draft.
Players dropped on this particular Sunday are protected via the honor system and are not available for pick-up by any team. In the event you drop a player by mistake you have 5 minutes to re-acquire the player without penalty. After 5 minutes or 11:59:59 (which ever comes first) the player can no longer be re-acquired. If the player is re-acquired after either deadline a Salary Cap penalty will be accessed by the amount of the player’s salary and the player will be removed from the teams roster.
Players can not be dropped after the 11:59:59 PM deadline. Any player dropped after the deadline will be placed back onto the teams roster.
If it is discovered that a team has an illegal roster after the draft ready deadline. The team will be be accessed with a Salary Cap Penalty of $50 for every player dropped to correct the issue.
Draft
All teams must manage their salaries during the draft. At the end of the draft all teams must have a legal roster and be at or under the In-Season Salary Cap. During the draft if a team over bids on a player, the bid is disqualified and can’t be re-submitted. The team will also be accessed with a Salary Cap Penalty equal to the amount over bid.
Once a team is draft ineligible (full roster (16 and both IR's)) or (full roster (16 and less than $50 salary available), the team can only trade its remaining draft picks if the result of the trade makes them draft eligible.
