An owner may trade draft position with another owner up until the time the draft starts.
All owners need to be present for the draft or have made arrangements for a non-league member to draft in his place.
The draft will consist of 13 rounds using a snaking method. In other words, the team with the last pick in the first round gets the first pick of the second round, and so on.
Each owner selects a team consisting of two quarterbacks, three running backs, three wide receivers, two tight ends, one flex player (RB or WR) and two kickers.
Player positions are determined by the position listed on RT Sports. For example from 2023 season: even though Taysom Hill has played quarterback as well as Tight End, for our league he is a Tight End because that's his position on RT Sports.
Weekly lineups shall consist of one Quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, one Flex and one kicker.
Owners are responsible for entering their own lineups on the AQFFL league website. Lineups are not locked until a players game begins.
Touchdown Pass…… 3 pts (passer) 3 pts (receiver)
Touchdown Run……. 6 pts (scorer)

Any touchdown pass, touchdown run, touchdown reception, punt return or kickoff return for touchdown of 50 yards or more counts DOUBLE.
Field Goals of 50 yards or more count for 4 points.
Bonus points are awarded in three categories. (Note: You only get one bonus in each category as described above)
Passing Bonus:
1 point for every 50 yards of passing………
Example:
200 yards passing = 4 points
300 yards passing = 6 points
400 yards passing = 8 points + 4 bonus points
Rushing Bonus:
1 point for every 20 yards rushing
Example:
100 yards of rushing = 5 points
200 yards of rushing = 10 points + 4 bonus points

THE SEASON:
The regular season will last 14 weeks. Each team will have two games against division opponents and one game against non-division rivals.
PLAYOFFS:
The top two-seeded teams will get a bye in week 15 with the 3rd seed playing the 6th seed and the 4th seed playing the 5th seed.
Winners will advance to play the top two seeds in week 16. The top seed will play the lowest seed. The winners advance to the Super Bowl in week 17.
TIE-BREAKERS:
Games: When a game ends in a tie, the first tie-breaker will be the bench with the better points total. If this does not break the tie, the second tie-breaker is total yardage for passing, rushing and receiving. If the game remains tied, total yards for non-starting players will be used.
The wildcard tie-breaker between three or more teams will be determined by total points scored for the season.
Any NFL player who is not already on an AQFFL roster is available to be picked up as a free agent.
Free agent pick ups are done using the snake method (1 thru 12, then 12 thru 1).
There will be two opportunities to pick up free agents every week.
The first will be Wednesday night at 6:00 PM. The second will be Saturday night at 6:00 PM.
On Wednesday, the pickup order will go from one to twelve (unless somebody utilizes the “Franchise Player” rule). The pickup order will snake for subsequent rounds.
On Saturday, the pickup order will be reversed. Whoever had #12 will have the first pick, #11 the second pick, #10 the third pick, and so on..
Players dropped on Wednesday are not eligible to be picked up on Saturday.
Please save my secondary email address: dfandrade32@gmail.com
I rarely use this email account, so it should be safe for you to send me your pickups without me seeing them.
To pick up a player (or players) send me an email before Wednesday at 6:00 PM. Here’s an example:
The first player I want is WR JuJu Smith-Shuster and I will drop WR DK Metcalf. If Smith-Shuster is not available I will pick up Deebo Samuel, Amari Cooper or Gabe Davis in that order.
For my next pick I want TE Kyle Pitts and I will drop TE Dallas Goedert. If I don’t get Pitts I will keep Goedert.
You will do the same thing if you want to pick up somebody on Saturday. Get your Saturday request to me before 6:00 PM on Saturday.
The fee for picking up a free agent is $2.
FRANCHISE PLAYER RULE:
At the completion of the AQFFL Too draft, each owner shall designate one player on his roster as his “Franchise Player”. This player must be one of the first four draft picks for the team.
During the course of the season, you may drop your “Franchise Player” due to serious injury, by notifying the transaction person that you are using the “Franchise Player” rule. You will then automatically move to the first position in the pickup order for that week.
Each team may use this rule only one time per season.
Once you drop a “Franchise Player”, you don’t get another one.
If you trade your “Franchise Player”, you forfeit the right to use this rule even if your “Franchise Player” is traded for another team’s “Franchise Player”.
TRADES:
Trades between teams are allowed until kickoff of the first game of Week 10. Both owners must report the trade and the trade must be approved by the AQFFL commissioner before becoming final. Should traded players be of different positions, the appropriate drops and pickups must be made to result in both teams having the proper number of players at all positions.
The fee for a trade is $1 per team no matter how many players are involved.
FEES:
Entry Fee: $75* (due before the draft)
Free Agent Pickups $2
Trades $1 per team

There will be a lottery drawing prior to the AQFFL draft held by the commissioner and at least one other team owner to determine the selection for the first round of that year’s draft.
An owner may trade lottery numbers with another owner up until the time the draft starts.
All owners need to be present for the draft or have made arrangements for a non-league member to draft in his place. An AQFFL owner may not draft for another league member who is not present.
The draft will consist of 12 rounds using a snaking method. In other words, the team with the last pick in the first round gets the first pick of the second round, and so on.
Each owner must select a team consisting of two quarterbacks, three running backs, three wide receivers, two tight ends, and two kickers.

Owners are responsible for entering their own lineups on the AQFFL league website. Lineups are not locked until a players game begins.
Owners are not obligated to field a seven player lineup should injuries or bye weeks prevent them from doing so, however in the interest of competition and sportsmanship, owners should make every effort to field a competitive team each week.

THE SEASON:
The season shall consist of 15 weeks of scheduled head-to-head games followed by one round of playoffs and a Super Bowl.
The regular season will last 14 weeks. Each team will have two games against division opponents and one game against non-division rivals.
PLAYOFFS:
At the end of the regular season, three division winners and one wild card team will be eligible for post season play.
The first round of the playoffs shall match the division winner with the best record against the wild card in one game, and the two remaining division in the second game.
The exception to this rule is if the wild card comes from the same division as the top seeded division winner. In this instance, the top seeded division winner would then play the lowest seeded division winner and the number two seed would play the wild card.
The AQFFL Too Super Bowl them matches the two winners from the first round.
The playoffs are being EXPANDED so that SIX teams will make the postseason - the three division winners and three wildcards.
The top two-seeded teams will get a bye in week 15. The 3rd seed plays the 6th seed and the 4th seed plays the 5th seed.
Winners will advance to play the top two seeds in week 16 with the winners advancing to the Super Bowl in week 17.
TIE-BREAKERS:
Games: When a game ends in a tie, the first tie-breaker will be the bench with the better points total. If this does not break the tie, the second tie-breaker is total yardage for passing, rushing and receiving. If the game remains tied, total yards for non-starting players will be used.
Division Winners and Wild Cards: If two or more teams are tied for the division title, the order of tie-breakers is as follows..
The wild card spot will be determined by head-to-head first, then total points scored for the season. If no winner, the third tie-breaker will be total points from head-to-head games.
FREE AGENT PICKUPS:
Any NFL player who is not already on an AQFFL roster is available to be picked up as a free agent.
Each Monday the commissioner and at least one AQFFL owner draws a lottery number which will determine the position for free agent pickups.
Free agent pick ups are done using the snake method (1 thru 12, then 12 thru 1).
Owners may send requests for free agents via private message on the league website to the designated transaction person anytime between Tuesday and 7:00 PM Wednesday.
There will be two opportunities to pick up free agents every week.
The first will be Wednesday night at 6:00 PM. The second will be Saturday night at 6:00 PM.
Scott Harlow (Maynard’s Raiders) on Monday nights will pick “helmets” from a container to determine the draft order for that week’s waiver wire pickups.
