conform.

HC, QB, RB, 2 WR, 2 TE, K, 2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB, 1 FLEX
IR/Practice squad:
A max. of 10 players can be placed on IR/PS.
IR: (IR/PS will be 10 total)
A maximum of up to 10 players can be on IR. Players placed on IR will remain on IR for the duration that they are on the IR with their NFL team. IR'ed players can be activated. It will be on all players on IR, PUP, and suspended. Once a player is activated by the NFL team, they need to be activated on our rosters or released.
Players placed on IR must be listed on an NFL list.(IR, PUP, suspended, non-football related, etc.) Retired players
will not be allowed on IR. Weekly injury reports will not be allowed.
Practice Squad:
Each team may designate up to 10 players to their practice squad. Only rookies may be placed on the practice squad.
Once named to the practice squad, a player may remain on the practice squad for up to 3 years. If you remove your PS
player after his rookie season, he can not return to the practice squad. Post your practice squad on the message board
so they can separated from IR'd players. We will list our practice squad players as IR.
Rookies loose rookie status at the end of the 4th quarter in the Pro Bowl as long as they are on a team. From Pro
Bowl until Cutdown day (Sunday before regular season) they can be moved on and off the P/S as many times as necessary.
On Cutdown day a final decision has to be made as to where the owner wants to place those rookies; whether it be on
the active roster or on the P/S. Any 1st year rookies (i.e. Addai, Croyle, Colston for 2006) that are picked up after
the Pro Bowl cannot be placed on the P/S. In other words, second year players that are picked up after the Pro Bowl
cannot be put on the P/S.
There are two dates to watch for. Pro Bowl marks the end of the season and the beginning of the next. This is when
1st year rookies become 1 year veterans and lose their rookie status. Sunday before regular season is when the team
owner has to make a decision as to where they want to place their previous year's rookies (i.e 1st year veteran).
Whether it be on the P/S or their active roster. Once a veteran player is removed, they lose P/S eligibility. The
only 3rd year players that are eligible for the P/S are the ones that are already there.
Stealing Practice Squad players:
An owner may attempt to steal a practice squad player from other teams. To initiate a steal, the owner must announce
their intentions to steal the player by posting a notice on the message board. The players current owner has 24 hours
from the post to either activate the practice squad player to his active roster, or else the player will go to the
stealing owner. The stealing owner will have to compensate the owner that was stolen from. Compensation will be
determined from 1 previous round from where the practice player was drafted. Example(If player was drafted in 4th
round, compensation would be a 3rd round pick.) A 1st round Steal is valued a 1st round and a 3rd round.
When a steal is completed, it will be posted on the message board. If an owner surrenders a practice squad player, he
may re-use that slot immediately. An owner may only be allowed 1 steal against another owner per week. But can attempt steals from multi owners. Any P/S player who is stolen from another team must keep that player active. They can not then be added to the stealing teams practice squad. The Stolen player loses practice squad eligibility. If the steal is BLOCKED, that player must remain active for 1 week following the block before they can be put back on the P/S. There will be no Offseason steals. Stealing of Practice squad players can ONLY be
done during the season.
2006 SEASON ONLY: Due to only 1 draft(rookies included), I placed compensation values on 2006 rookies. The values can
be found in the news section.
Drafts:
The inaugural draft will be held here at rtsports. A 24 hour time limit will be enforced on all drafts. If 24 hours
pass, that pick is skipped. The skipped pick will be made at the end of the draft. 24 hours is plenty of time to make
your pick or contact someone. Auto-pick is there to use just in case.
A rookie draft will be held every year. It will start on the following Saturday after the NFL draft. Our rookie draft will be
7 rounds and only rookies will be eligible to be drafted. The rookie draft will be NFL style. Rookies can't be picked
up via free agentcy until after the rookie draft is completed.
Trades:
Trades are allowed from the end of the Championship game up until Week 12 of the regular season. Trades may be made
with players and/or draft picks. Future draft picks may be traded, but only up to one year in advance. Any trades
deemed unfair or as collusion may be voided by a vote.
Pro Bowl:
During our Playoffs, starting lineup for each division will be posted for a Pro Bowl game
to be played on Week 17. Lineups will be composed of the top scorers for each division.
Misc:
A 3 man Competition Committee has been set up to help solve problems that may arrise. Terry, ??, and Jake form
the current Committee. If for any reason they are unavailable for a vote, the commish will step in for that person. At
the end of each season, we will hold an offseason "meeting" to discuss rule updates and other votes.
