Additional Rules:
PLAYOFF QUALIFICATION - Both division winners go in as seeds one and two. Seeding is based on best overall record, then head-to-head, then total points. Four wildcard spots. They can come from the same division or different divisions. Wildcard qualifiers are overall record, head to head, then total points. If multiple teams end with the same record, every effort will be made to determine wild card seeding based on head-to-head. If this is impossible, we will revert to total points scored. The first-place teams get a bye week in the first playoff round.  ROSTERS - Every team must have minimum of 1 QBs, 3 RBs, 4 WRs, 1 TE, 1 Ks, and 1 D.  Total of 14 players on the rostrer.  WAIVER WIRE RULES FOR INJURED PLAYERS - A player can be placed on IR if he is listed as , Questionable, Doubtful or Out because of injury.  A player cannot remain on IR status once he has played again in an NFL game. Important: Suspended players are not eligible for IR status. If a player is lost to injury on Sunday, the owner of that player has first right advantage to claiming the replacement player from the NFL team until Wednesday of the following week. Example: Tomlinson gets hurt on Sunday. Owner of Tomlinson can pick up the Chargers' replacement RB any time Tuesday, the first day waiver pickups are allowed during any week. From Wednesday on, any team can pick up the replacement RB.

League founded by Rory Davenport. Nick Rowan of Mad Cows assumed commissioner's job in 1999 and was replaced the next year after scandal involving missing entry fee funds. (Nick was booted from the league after 2001 season because of history of late payment on fees). Rob Rehg of the Rage took over as Commissioner in 2001.

Rage leads League with eight Super Bowl Titles and 11 Title Game appearances, and won a record four consecutive championships from 2015 through 2018.  Fighting Amish and Boner are the only other teams to win three Super Bowls.  Boner holds record for longest time between titles -- 16 years.  Amish is the only team other than Rage to win consecutive titles in 2013 and 2014.  Wag The Dog and Dreadskins are the only other teams to have won two Super Bowls. Bonehead has appeared in six Super Bowls, Hoya Saxa has appeared in five Super Bowls.  Dreadskins and Team Blue appeared in four Super Bowls.  Wag The Dog has made three Super Bowl appearances.

Rehg, Owner-Coach, and Matt Wagner, GM, formed the original TheRage in 1997, but the partnership dissolved after the first season over personnel disagreements. Wagner took over Wag the Dog franchise in 1998. After three pedestrian years, Rehg fired himself, renamed the team Rage and hired Vince Lombardi as coach in 2000.  Lombardi immediately led the team to a championship, and established coaching landmarks for titles (8), Super Bowl appearances (11), consecutive Super Bowl appearances and victories (4) and consecutive playoff appearances (8, 2006-2013).  Not bad for being dead.

Wagner was the Beally Beane of Fantasy Football, regularly qualifying for the playoffs only to lose in the first round 9 times. The Dogs won the third place consolation prize so frequently it was officially named The Wagner Cup in 2003. In 2007, hell froze over as the Dogs not only advanced to the Super Bowl but beat the Rage in the title tilt.  Wagner has since advanced to two more Super Bowls, winning once again.

Rory, who stunned League analysts by leading the 'Garchs into the playoffs in 06 and securing division titles in 08 and 09, made it to his first Super Bowl in 09, only to lose to JuggerKnott, but then won the title in 2010 by beating long-time friend and rival, Peter Soh of Hoya Saxa, in the championship game.  The 09 Super Bowl was both the lowest-scoring and the closest-scoring title game in League history, with J-Knott edging Rory by 2.6 points -- 104.3 to 101.7. Rory has always provided the most comic relief on draft night, with Peter Soh providing real-time critiques of Rory's selections.

Bonehead's name originated from forgetting it was draft night in Year One and having to make a series of half-assed draft selections from various Baltimore pay phones. A once glorious franchise, Boner fell on limp times -- going 2-12 in 06 and 07 campaigns, before rebounding in 08 to an 8-6 record, only to sink to 1-13 in 09. He returned to glory by reaching the Super Bowl again in '14. By then he had re-branded his franchise Fuckings Money Boner, based on a suggestion by the Commish after his famous desperate email at the end of the '12 season, "Season on brink. Throw to your fuckings money man."

At the urgent request of Jere Sullivan, the deadline for submitting rosters was moved to 1 p.m. on Game Day. This was the result of a heated dispute between Jere and Matt over an injured player in the lineup, and bad blood still exists between those teams. After relocating to Brussels in search of better beer, Sullivan decided to merge his squad with Brian Franklin in 2006, renaming the team "The Fighting Amish Porn Kings." After drafting a team that finished 4-10, Franklin resigned in disgust and at the strong urging of Sullivan. The team returned to its original, classic name: The Fighting Amish, and secured second and third championships in '13 and '14. The '13 Amish relied on three high-flying Eagles to fuel their offense and In the second closest scoring Super Bowl in history, the Amish rallied with those Eagles on a Monday night to edge the Dogs by 3 points.

Greg St. Claire joined the league in 2002 with Team Blue, which after losing two straight Super Bowl title tilts became known as Team Blueballs. Jonathan Grella joined the League in 2005 and quickly joined the ranks of the comptetive by qualifying for the playoffs in his third year. He was replaced by Charles Bakaly who regularly fielded strong teams that often fell just short of the playoffs on the last weekend. and blamed the Commissioner for cheating him out of a postseason spot.  Bakaly did reach the Super Bowl once in '16 and fittingly was defeated by the Commissioner.  Kevin Johnson replaced Bakaly in '19.  He immediately made an impression by locking into a dispute with JuggerKnott over who earned the draft rights to Zeke Elliott and later urged Bob to upgrade his Internet service to avoid future problems.

After 26 years the League has established its own rituals: Boner will either be great or awful; Blueballs has consistently drafted top-scoring players by position only to coach so poorly that the team finishes with losing records, and can be counted on to choke in the Big Game on those rare occasions the team qualifies for the playoffs; Charles finished close every year but never really understood the scoring system. McDynasty Saxa, Garchs and Dogs are usually in the hunt, and Rory will always complain about some rule, even if he's five games under .500.
