Additional Rules:
Additional League Rules:
1. LEAGUE FEES: Each franchise costs $150.00 In the event that all franchises are not sold, the total cost of the unsold franchises will be split amongst the franchise owners. The franchise fee must be paid before week 8 of the regular season.
2. PRIZES: The franchise fees collectively comprise the "pot". The pot valued at $1,800.00 will be distributed as follows:
a. The league champion receives $600.00
b. The league runner-up receives $300.00
c. The league second runner-up receives $200.00
d. The league third runner-up receives $100.00
e. Each division winner receives $75.00
f. The overall points champion (at the end of regular season) receives $125
g. The team with the best record (at the end of regular season) receives $130 ; In case of a tie, the money will be split evenly.
The remaining $120.00 in the pot pays for the computer program which runs the league, and a little food for the draft.
Payouts for the prizes will be from February 1st to the 15th following that season.
3. LEAGUE STRUCTURE: The league consists of 12 franchises and is divided into 3 divisions: Each division consist of 4 franchises. A single franchise will play each franchise in its own division twice, and the remainder of games will be randomly selected by the program.
4. ROSTERS: Each franchise has 19 players on its roster. A franchise must have 2 Team QB's, 3 RB's, 3 WR's, 1 TE's, 1 Kicker, 2 Defenses/special teams. Each franchise may also have 3 bonus players that may be drafted from any position except QB and defense. A franchise may not have more than two Team QB's on its roster at any time or two defense/special teams. A franchise must maintain the players on its roster at all times and may not exceed 19 players.
5. STARTING LINEUPS: Franchise owners must submit a starting lineup each week. Starting players in games scheduled for Sunday, must be submitted on the web prior to 12:00 pm central time, Sunday. Starting players in games scheduled for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Monday must be submitted on the web before the game they participate in. If no lineup is submitted, the previous week’s lineup will be used. This includes bye week players. Once a game starts and a player is locked on your roster, there will be no changes made by any commissioner, unless a commish was notified prior to kickoff of that game, but not one second after. No exceptions.
A franchise’s starting lineup must include:
1 Quarterback
2 Running Backs
2 Wide Receivers
1 TE
1 Kicker
1 Defense/Special Team
3 Auxiliary Player
6. ROSTER MOVES: An owner may make roster moves throughout the regular season. Roster moves are either trades or the acquisition of free agents. Free agents may be acquired up to the end of the regular season (week 13 of the NFL season). Trades may be executed up to midnight Friday of the 12th game (12th week of the NFL season). If you become mathematically eliminated from the playoffs before week 12 then you are no longer allowed to trade.
Trades can be denied by the Commissioners if they deem that they are extremely lopsided. This is to ensure the credibility of the league, and to guard against “team dumping”.
An owner’s rights to a player are determined by his position on the waiver wire. The owner higher on the wire has superior rights. Waiver order is determined by record. Worst is first, best is last.
Free agents can be acquired after they have cleared waivers.
You have between 8:00 AM Thursday to 12:00 PM Sunday to drop and pick up free agents. Owners may not acquire a player once the player's game has started, regardless of transaction deadlines.
7. Injured Reserve: Each franchise is allowed to place one player at a time on the injured reserve (IR) during the regular season. No more than one player per franchise can be on IR at any given time. Team QB’s are Not Eligible to be placed on IR. Placing a player on IR allows you to keep that player, but still obtain a replacement player without violating the rule allowing no more than 19 players on a roster at any time. A player must be listed as either "Out", "Doubtful", or "Questionable" according to the NFL injury report published on Web League Manager, or any other reputable website, to be eligible for the IR. If a player is injured and has a bye week the following week, it must be proven from a reputable website that the player will miss at least 2 weeks (bye week, plus the following week) to be eligible for IR.
A player may only be kept on the IR for 6 weeks. Once a player is on the IR for 6 weeks, a franchise must either drop that player, or activate the player and drop a different player.
In the playoffs you are awarded one additional IR move. You can use your IR moves in the playoffs only to pick up backup players on your injured players team.
If a player on the IR is elevated from his status of either "out", "doubtful", or "questionable" to probable or better, he loses his eligibility for the IR immediately, and either the replacement player or the IR’d player is dropped from the roster.
A player on IR can NOT be traded.
8. REGULAR SEASON: The league season will coincide with the NFL's regular season, beginning on Week 1 NFL regular season and ending on Week 13 of the NFL regular season.
Individual franchises are matched against each other during the regular season. The program creates a schedule for the league.
At the end of the season, all franchises will be ranked first to last. Division winners are ranked 1-3, best to worst based on overall record. The remaining franchises are ranked from best to worst, based on overall record. In an event two or more teams have the same overall record, the following serve as tie-breakers:
For Division For Remaining 9 Teams
A. head-to-head play A. head-to-head play
B. division record B. total points
C. total points standings
9. THE PLAYOFFS: The league playoffs are held from Week 14-16 of the NFL regular season. The top eight teams in the league play for the league championship, in the championship playoff series. The remaining teams play for the number one pick in next season's draft in the Toilet Bowl playoff series.
The division winner with the best record plays the weakest wild card and so on so forth. Every one will be seeded strongest against the weakest.. Winners of the second round, play in the Championship game.
All four bottom teams play in the first round. Winners of the First round play in the Toilet Bowl.
This year we will determine next year’s draft status according to where you finish in the playoffs, with the winner of the Championship getting the last pick. The winner of the Toilet bowl gets the First Pick.
10. TIEBREAKERS: A game which ends in a tie will be decided by comparing the total number of points scored by the franchise's bench players. If the bench players of each franchise scores the same number of points, whichever franchise's starting unit for the following week scores the most points, wins. In the playoffs we will use the teams previous weeks score to determine a winner. If you have a bye week you must enter a lineup for this reason.
11. KEEPERS: This is a 2 keeper league. At the beginning of each season each franchise is required to keep TWO players from the previous season. One will take the place of a 1st Round pick, the other will take the place of whatever round they were drafted in the year before, minus one round. For example, if you keep a player you drafted in the 14th round, that player will be "taken" in the 13th round pick the following year. Should you choose to keep the same player the following year, it would be a 12th rounder lost, and so on.
If you pick a player up off the Waiver Wire during the regular season and choose to keep him, you will lose the last pick of the draft.
As always, you are NOT ALLOWED to keep 2 players from the SAME POSITION. For example, you can not keep two RB’s.
About a month before the draft you will be required to submit 4 protected players. One week before the draft you are required to submit your keepers.
Keepers can not be traded past week 12 of the regular season.
THE WAIVER WIRE WILL CLOSE FOR THE SEASON FOLLOWING THE FINAL FANTASY PLAYOFF GAME!
12. COMMISSIONERS: Josh and Shady are the Commissioners of the League with Bucky acting as a tiebreaker. Josh will handle the program. Bucky is the treasurer and will handle the money.
The commissioners were responsible for drafting the rules. Therefore, the commissioners have the final answer in the interpretation of the meaning of the rules. A commissioner's interpretation of the rules will have greater weight then an owner's interpretation.
There will be no league votes. The Commish will get together and decide any discrepancies and action to be taken.
An owner may challenge a rule. However, any objections should be made before the season starts, so that the rule can be changed before causing a potential conflict between owners.
13. Scoring System: The scoring system is listed on the website under scoring system as the system is a part of our rules.
