Draft order decided by random drawing cards for bottom 6 teams from last year, and then choose their draft pick position. Remaining 8 teams then choose their draft pick position from what is leftover with 8th place team next, 7th, down to the 1st place team reg season. No cards drawn for these 8 teams. Rookie owners pick last. In person or Online draft, 2 min time limit per pick for first 2 rounds, 90 seconds for remaining rounds. After time expires, auto draft pick from your queue or default list.
1st round draft order
will be team 1-14, second round 14-1, 3rd round 1-14, etc. Total of 14 rounds.
-Unlimited pickups, first 3 are free, all after 3 are $5 each. Once playoffs start, only teams still alive can make pickups. Toilet bowl is not considered playoffs. You make your own pickups/ drops online: pickups before Wednesdays each week go thru Automated Claim Process with worst team getting priority. All pickups after that Wedns deadline are still first come first get.
Head to head matchups each week and vs the league average.
-Each owner is responsible for setting lineups. If you can't do it online, you must contact your opponent and commissioner within same deadlines (5 minutes before game) Failure to set lineups may be counted as zero points.
-Tentative Payouts are as follows: (this depends on how many chargeable pickups are made, all money is paid out
-$100 website fee) 1st place regular season regardless of division: $195 + 21% (of extra pickup money) 2nd place $105 + 10%
3rd place $75 + 8% 4th place $60 + 5% Category payout: $5 weekly (regular season) goes to the team high score.
Most points regular season: $75 + 8% 1st round playoff
winners: $52 + 21% split 4 ways 2nd round winners: additional $52 + 10% split 2 ways Superbowl winner: additional $165
+ 17% and trophy. The optional Survivor Pool cost is $10, with all $ going to the last survivor(s)
- Top 8 teams make the playoffs which start in wk 15. 1vs8, 2vs7, 3vs6 and 4vs5.
-If a team quits or gets kicked out, then those remaining opponents still need to turn in a lineup and play that opponents starting lineup.
-Scoring clarifications regarding laterals, fumble return TD's, stats, makeup games, canceled games, COVID implications, and anything else we have'nt thought of is determined by the website's official scoring system.
- Rule changes must have majority vote, and be finalized at least 2 weeks prior to draft. Rookies don't vote. GFL board (derek, ken, brad) will decide rule disputes if needed.
- Ties can occur in regular season, in playoffs ties are broken by total of your reserve players, then coin toss.
- Your defense can only lose a max of 30 points based on points allowed. (50-99 points = -30 points)
