Rosters

 Each team consists of 9 position slots: 1 Team QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Team K, 1 DEF, 1 Wildcard.

-        Wildcard can be WR/RB/TE/K/DEF.

-        Team QB and K are the players on the NFL roster as a QB and K.

-        If a RB, WR, or TE throws a touchdown, the points go to the passing and the receiving player.

Draft

Standard Snake Draft

-        Wildcard position cannot be drafted until after the 5th round of drafting is completed. (Adopted 2013)

Waivers

Tumble waiver order: Initial waiver order is reverse of league draft order. First pick in draft gets last waiver priority, etc. A team is placed at the end of priority queue after making a waiver claim.

-        Teams must drop a player when putting in for a claim. When placing a waiver claim on RTSports, owners must check the box of the player they intend to drop permanently or place on IR. Once a player is committed to IR, he is ineligible for the week. 

-        A player may only be placed on IR for the week for a bye, suspension, or reasonable injury concern (limited in practice, did not practice, injured on previous Sunday or did not play). Owners cannot remove the player from IR and place him back in their lineup for the same week for any reason, otherwise the player’s points will be deducted from the team’s total score. When the week is over, owners will manually drop the players they picked for the week and put their IR players back onto their starting roster.

-        All weekly pickups must be dropped and a new waiver claim made for the following week despite how long an injured player is out for.

-        No weekly pickup can be made permanent. Even if a player goes off on Sunday and is an obvious keeper, he must return to waivers for all teams to have the opportunity to claim him as a permanent pickup the following Wednesday night.

-        When a permanent player is dropped either Wednesday night via waivers or any other day of the week, he cannot be picked up that week via free agency. He will be made available via waivers the following week.

-        When a player is picked up either via waivers on Wednesday or free agency and then is dropped before Sunday, that player will be made available 24 hours from when he is dropped via free agency.

o   If the player is dropped after Saturday at 9am Pacific, he becomes a protected free agent until Sunday at 9am Pacific (1 hour before game time) at which point he is made available via free agency.

The roster limit on RTSports is set to 9 - RT won't let teams pick up a 10th player unless someone is on IR.  When making waiver claims for the week, owners can simultaneously put in for a weekly player and place another player on IR using the claim function on RTSports. If the player is not rewarded, no one is placed on IR.

Players are awarded on Wednesday night. Deadline for waiver wire submission on Wednesday is 6pm Pacific. 

After players are awarded, unrestricted free agent moves begin Wednesday night at 10pm Pacific.

Scoring

RTSports is our source for calculating points. Should an owner believe a player’s score is calculated incorrectly, it can only be changed should the majority of the league consent.

QB

-        6 points for touchdowns

-        0 points for rushing and passing yardage under 275

-        5 points for 275 combined rushing and passing yards

-        5 additional points for every 50 total yards after 275

-        (10 points for 325 yards, 15 for 375, etc)

Rushing

-        6 points for a touchdown or 10 points for a touchdown of 30 or more yards 

Receiving

-        6 points for a touchdown and 1 point per reception

Combined Rushing and receiving yardage

-        0 points for combined rushing and receiving yardage under 100

-        5 points for 100 combined rushing and receiving yards

-        5 additional points for every 50 combined yards after 100

-        ( 10 total points for 150, 15 total points for 200, etc)

Kicking

-        3 points for field goals under 50 yards

-        6 points for field goals of 50 or more yards

-        5 bonus points if a kicker hits 4 field goals

-        1 point for extra point made.

Def/ST

-        20 points for a shutout

-        10 points if 6 points or less allowed

-        5 points if 7-10 points allowed

-        2 points for interception

-        2 points for safety

-        1 point for sack

-        2 points for blocked FG or punts

-        6 points for kick or punt return for touchdown

-        6 points for defensive touchdowns.

Season

-        Regular season runs weeks 1-14

-        Playoffs run weeks 15-17

-        Scores for week 18 still count towards teams overall points

-        6 Playoff teams

-        2 division winners plus 4 wildcards

-        Wildcard teams qualify by win/loss standings in seperate divisions (2 per division)

-        Playoff seeding is by win/loss standings

-        In case of a tie in the standings, these are the tie-breakers in order

               1. Divisional Record

               2. Head to Head Record

               3. Points Scored Head-To-Head

Payouts

-        High score of each week wins $100

-        The RTSports usage fee is deducted from the pot of money.

-        After which the remaining pot is divided as such:

              40% for first place in overall points for all 17 weeks

              20% for second place in overall points all 17 weeks

              10% for third place in overall points all 17 weeks

              20% for Super Bowl Winner

              10% for Super Bowl Loser
