League fees are due on draft day. Fee is $200.
Payouts:
Champion: $1300
2nd: $550
3rd: $200
Most points (weeks 1-14) $200
$150 goes to site fee, trophy and draft board. Any excess will remain in league account.
Off season is always from the end of the championship game until draft day.
Keeper deadline is always 1 week before draft day.
All transactions (trades, adds, and drops) are subject to commissioner review and league approval.
Keepers:
Players are designated as Franchise or Restricted Keepers once a year.
One Franchise keeper per team. This Keeper is not optional. This player is kept as your 1st round pick. This player, once designated as Franchise the player must remain so until traded or dropped.
One Restricted Keeper per team. This Keeper is not optional. This player is kept as your 2nd round pick. This player may only keep as a Restricted Keeper twice in a row. After that, the player must be moved to the Franchise tag, dropped, or traded in the preseason.
Up to 2 Developmental Keepers per team. These Keepers are optional. Only players NOT drafted in the first twelve rounds of the most recent draft may be kept as Developmental. Developmental keeper #1 may be kept for your 12th-round pick, Developmental keeper #2 may be kept for your 8th-round pick.
Trading:
Any player trading away future draft picks must deposit $50 toward next year's team before the trade is approved.
All trades are subject to league review. Accepted trades are held for 24 hours to allow all owners to protest the trade.
If 6 or more protest the trade is automatically vetoed. After 24 hours commissioner will review and make the final call on the trade.
Off-season trading:
Teams may trade During the period of 4 weeks before the keeper deadline up until keeper deadline. Executing trades through the website in any manner, so that it's outside of the window is deemed an illegal trade and invalid. Trades are subject to all regular season trade rules.
Lineups: Must be changed by the owner and before the player's game starts. No late changes will be made by the commissioner.
Rule changes:
All material and significant rule changes will be voted on by the league with a majority needed for passing. Examples of this are adding an additional starting position, changing from 0.5 PPR to 1 PPR, the length of the trade window, etc. 'All small and non-material changes will be posted as notice as soon as possible so that everyone is aware of them, but no vote is required, just commissioner action. 'Examples of this are administrative
changes, operational streamlining of procedures, and fixing problems that arise in website implementation.
There are no rule changes allowed after keepers are declared for the current season. League rules changed after that will not go into effect until the following year.
Tie Breakers for playoffs:
This used to be on the site but they changed it so I'll repost it here:
1. Overall Record
2.'Head to Head record'
3. Total points
4. Coin toss
Playoffs are seeded as such:
Top six teams make the playoffs with byes awarded to the two best records.
Consolation bracket:
The bottom six teams make the consolation bracket with byes awarded to the two best records.
Conductivity:
Not setting lineups in time is not only lame, but unfair to the other owners. There is no reason to not set a lineup. Inactivity from any owner is grounds for being kicked out for the next year. Gross inactivity will result in Commissioner taking over the team until a replacement is found.
Open Team Rules:
1) Open teams are available to senior members first. Each team will have the opportunity to completely swap their team for an open team (keepers and draft position). This includes traded picks, etc. You take the team as is. Priority will be in the order of the draft. Each vacated team will be open to owners to swap. Once we've gone through the draft order the new league member will be assigned the remaining open team.
Last Rule, but most important:
The Commissioner has the power to change anything needed for administrative reasons in the league but will always give notice and allow for ownership to overrule him. In the end, the Commissioner is an administrative position. The owners run this league.
