Season Dues- $100.00
An entrance fee for the season of $100.00 is required of all owners. This fee covers the cost of the league website, draft site, the team's first 25 roster moves, prize money, and the championship trophy.
Monetary Prizes
Championship Winner-$400.00+ monies remaining after awarding Division Winners, Wild-card Qualifiers, and purchasing Championship trophy.
Division Winners-$100.00

The Draft
The draft is probably the single Most important event of the entire Fantasy Football season. This is when all the team owners gather together to draft their fantasy football teams. Your attendance at the draft is mandatory. (unless there is death in the family or a natural disaster).
The draft will take between 2 and 3 hours. Please have your cheatsheets, rankings, etc. ready as it will make the entire process run smoothly and make it more enjoyable for everyone.
Draft Order
Your draft position will be determined using a random drawing in which all team names are placed in a hat/ receptacle and withdrawn one at a time by someone that is not a team owner.
Draft Sequence
The draft will consist of twelve (12) rounds proceeding in a serpentine fashion. In other words we will go from low to high, then high to low, low to high, etc., etc. until all team rosters are filled.

Fantasy Football Teams
Each owner will draft 12 players/units comprised of the following positions: quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers/tight ends, place kickers, and defensive/special teams units. Starting Line-ups
Each team will field a starting line-up for each week's game. Starting line-ups must be set no later than one hour before kick-off of the first NFL game of the week currently being played.
What Line-ups are allowed
Each team must field a starting line-up consisting of 1 quarterback, 2 running backs 2 receivers (including wide receivers and tight ends), 1 floater, 1 place kicker, and 1 defensive/special teams unit. Please note that a floater is designated as a running back, wide receiver, or a tight end and it is left to the individual owner's discretion which of the aforementioned players he or she chooses to insert at the floater position. Consequently, individual line-ups may vary as follows:

Your weekly line-up should be submitted via the league website. In an emergency ( defined as your fingertips cannot make contact with a computer keyboard ) you may call the Commissioner's Office cellular phone numbers to submit your line-up.
Free Agents
Any player or defensive/special teams unit not selected during the draft becomes a free agent. Free agents may be claimed by any team during the alloted signing period as set forth in the free agent claim processing protocol outlined below. Adding free agents to your roster usually necessitates that a player or players currently on your roster be dropped from your roster. Players that are dropped from rosters become free agents and may be claimed by other team owners as per the free agent claim processing protocol.
Requests to claim available free agents will be processed in the following manner:
Following each week's games owners that lost or tied in their games will be permitted to select free agents first between Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. and Wednesday at 9:00 A.M.
At 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday any free agent players / units that are available may be requested by any owner. If an owner illegally picks up players/units he will be banned from picking up the illegally acquired players/units for a period of one week.
There is a cost of $1.00 per free agent player added to your roster.
Dropping Players From Your Roster
Players / units can be dropped from your team at any time. Dropped players become free agents and are immediately available to be added to another team's roster via the free agent claim process.
Making Trades
Trades between team owners can be made at anytime up until 12:00 Noon of the Saturday prior to week 10's games. No trades will be permitted after that point in the schedule. Trades can be made between any number of teams in any division.
Multiple player trades ( e.g. two-for-one or three-for-two ) will be permitted, but teams may have no more than 12 players / units on their roster at any time. Trades must be completed / announced to the Commissioner's Office by Saturday at 12:00 Noon for the players involved in the trade to be eligible for play in that week's games. Any player traded may not be traded back to the team from whence he came for a period of no less than four weeks. In other words, you cannot trade your spare kicker to your friend for one week because his has a bye week and then get the kicker back the next week. Trades cost $1.00 per player per trade.
League Set-up
The league is separated into two separate divisions: East and West. Each division consists of five teams. Placement into these divisions is randomly determined during our inaugural season by draft position. Draft positions 1-2-3-4 and 5 will comprise the East Division. Draft positions 6-7-8-9 and 10 will comprise the West Division.
Our season consists of fifteen (15) regular season weeks, a semi-final play-off week (Week 16), and our Gladiator Bowl championship game (Week 17).
At the conclusion of the regular season the two division winners and the two teams with the next best records regardless of division will qualify for the play-offs. Should team records result in ties for play-off positions a system of tie-breakers will be utilized to break the ties and determine the play-off teams. The first tie-breaker is division record and can only be utilized when teams in the same division are vying for a play-off position. The second tie-breaker will be head to head competition, and the last tie-breaker will be total points scored during the regular season with the team having the higher point total winning the play-off spot. The four teams which qualify for the play-offs will be seeded as numbers 1 through 4 based on record, head-to-head competition (and the aforementioned tie-breakers, if necessary) during the regular season. During week 15 two semi-final play-off games will take place with the following pairings:
#1 seed vs. #4 seed
#2 seed vs. #3 seed
The winners / survivors of the week 16 play-off games will then meet for the championship in the Gladiator Bowl during week 17 of the NFL regular season. The winner of the Gladiator Bowl will be awarded the Gridiron Gladiator Championship Trophy and reign supreme over all other league owners for a period of approximately one calendar year.
Schedule
Each team will play the other teams in its division twice. Each team will play one game against three of the five teams in the other division and will play two teams from the other division twice during the regular season.
Scoring System
The offensive / defensive stats used are:
-Passing, Rushing, and Receiving Yards and Touchdowns, Field Goals, and Extra Points.
-Sacks, Fumble Recoveries, Interceptions, Safeties,Touchdowns Scored, Holding opposing offense to less than ten (10) points, and Shutouts.

Individual Game Tie-Breakers
During the 15-game regular season head-to-head games can end in a tie. During the play-offs (Weeks 16 and 17, respectively) the tie-breaker for head-to-head games will be as follows: Each team will designate one player from their starting line-up to serve as the "tie-breaker" should the week's game end in a tie. The team with the designated "tie-breaker" player with the greater number of points for the week will win the game. If, after application of the tie-breaker for play-off games, the score of a game remains tied, the team with the higher seeding will be awarded the win.
Loophole Rule
The Commissioner's Office has the power to disallow any business transaction or penalize any business or personal action which violates the spirit of the game!!!! (e.g. deliberately not fielding your most competitive line-up in order to lose games in an effort to improve your draft position for the next year!)
