League Commissioner: Jeff Mlinar
All of the league rules are in addition to or coincide with the rules listed below.
Finances:
The entrance fee is due on date of the draft. If the entrance fee is not paid by the start of the season you will be forced to forfeit until paid. The following will be payouts from the pot at the end of the year.
Total Fees = $1200 minus League Website = $90
Division Winner = $50
Consolation Bracket Winner= $50
Superbowl Winner= $535
Superbowl Runner up= $275
3rd Place= $100
Keeper Rules:
Each team is allowed to keep 3 players from the previous year's roster. The player must qualify based in the following guidelines.
After a keeper player is determined, 2 rounds will be subtracted from their previous years draft round. Undrafted free agents that are kept will count as a 16th round selection from the previous year (kept as a 14th round pick). Changes cannot be made to keepers once they are declared/revealed.
Keeper example, in 2004 Joe Horn was selected in the 4th round by Team A. Team A decides to keep him in 2005. In 2005, Joe Horn becomes Team A's 2nd round pick in 2005. In 2006 Team A can no longer keep Joe Horn since he was Team A's 2nd round pick in 2005. Another example is, Team B drafts Drew Bledsoe in the 8th round of the 2004 draft. Team B decides to keep Drew Bledsoe in 2005. Two rounds will come off of his previous years draft status. In 2005, Drew Bledsoe will be Team B's 6th round selection. If Team B decides to keep Drew Bledsoe in 2006 he will become their 4th round selection. Remember that players kept will apply to their escalated draft position from the previous year as described above.
Rookie Draft:
There will be a rookie draft conducted once the keepers have been declared. It will based on reverse order of the previous year's finish. The Rookie draft picks will be assigned a round based on the following.
Pick # Current Year draft round
1-2 = 11th rd pick
3-4 = 12th rd pick
5-6= 13th rd pick
7-8 = 14th rd pick
9-10 15th rd pick
11-12 16th rd pick
Draft:
The draft will be scheduled each year in August/Sept. The draft order will be selected in reverse order of finish. The order of finish for the non-playoff bracket will have no bearing on the draft order. The order of finish for the playoff bracket will determine the following year's draft order.
Divisions:
In 2023 the division will be selected as follows.
Draft positions
1,4,7 & 10 = Favre Division
2,5,8 & 11 = Rodgers Division
3,6,9 & 12 = Starr Division
Transactions:
All trades will have a league vote. The trade will pend for 24 hours for the entire league to vote. A minimum of 6 votes are needed for disapproval of the trade. Any non vote will be counted as a vote in favor of the trade. If a player is traded his draft status follows him from team to team. No trades can be made after the trade deadline.
Once the league reassembles, trades can resume on August 1st of the following year. Players on a team's roster can be traded for players, draft picks or rookie picks and the keeper players Once keepers have been announced, teams can only trade a keeper player for draft picks or trade draft picks for draft picks in the current year.
No team can add players after NFL week 17 is complete, dropping players is allowed. Players cannot be added until the following year's draft is complete. All players on a team's roster must have been drafted by an NFL team or played for a NFL team at one point. College players cannot be drafted or added to a team at anytime.
Playoffs:
The playoffs will consist of 6 teams and played during week 15, 16 & 17. (3 division winners and 3 Wildcard teams.) The teams will be seeded 1-6 based on their record. The three division winners will receive the #1, #2, and #3 seeds and the 3 remaining teams will be seeded #4, #5 and #6 based on their record and tie breaking rules. The top 2 seeds will receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs. The team with the best record will receive the #1 seed and the team with the second best record will receive the #2 seed.
During weeks 15 and 16 in the playoffs the team with the higher seed will receive 3 home field advantage points. This will be added to the end of the score. There will be no home field advantage points during week 17. (our Super Bowl) In week 15), the #3 seed will play the #6 seed. The #4 seed will play the #5 seed. In week 16), the #1 seed will play the lowest remaining seed and the # 2 seed will play the highest remaining seed. The winner of each week 16 game will play in the Super Bowl to determine the league champion. The 2 losers from the semifinal will play in the 3rd place game to determine the 3rd and 4th place finisher. Regular season tiebreaking procedures will be used in the playoffs to break a tie in a game.
Consolation bracket:
The 6 non-playoff teams will be seeded based on their record. The tie breaking procedure described above will be used. They will be seeded 7-12. The #7 and #8 seed will receive a bye for week #15. The #9 seed will play the #12 seed and the #10 seed will play the #11 seed. In week #16 the lowest remaining seed will play the #7 seed and the 2nd highest remaining seed will play the #8 seed. The winners will advance each week. There will be a $50 payout to the winner of the consolation bracket. There will not be any home field advantage points awarded in the consolation bracket.
Tiebreakers:
Division winners and Wild Card teams not in the same division. 1. Head to Head 2. Total Points (Season) 3. Net touchdowns scored (Season) 4. Coin Flip. A head to head tie breaker involving 3 or more teams will be used only, if each team involved in the tiebreaker has beaten each of the other teams it is tied with. If that did not occur, it will revert back to total points.
Tie within a division for either a division winner or a wildcard spot. 1. Head to Head 2. Division Record 3. Total Points (Season) 4. Net touchdowns scored (Season) 5. Coin Flip.
In the event of a situation not covered by the rules the commissioner will decide on the appropriate resolution. The commissioner has the right to adjust or amend the rules as necessary.
