Huntley could get a few starts

Well, last week was a rough one for injuries. There are several players that got banged up at various positions. This could lead to some fantasy teams scrambling this week to find replacements. So the waiver wire might be a happening place, especially for this time of the year. Below are some of the players you should consider adding for Week 14.

QUARTERBACK

Mike White, Jets. White hit the 300-yard mark for the second straight game. He scored has 23 or more fantasy points each of his two starts for the Jets. He certainly looks the part of an NFL starter and should continue to fill that role for the Jets going forward. He remains available in 57 percent of leagues.

Tyler Huntley, QB, Ravens. Huntley might getting some starts with Lamar Jackson banged up. Huntley has performed well with past chances, having two games last season with 20-plus fantasy points. He is a dual threat that is a good fit for the Ravens offense. He is worth a look for quarterback-needy teams.

RUNNING BACK

Zonovan Knight, Jets. Knight was the lead back for most of the game last week with Michael Carter out of the lineup. He had another great showing, rushing 15 times for 90 yards. He also caught five passes for 28 yards, showing his three-down back ability. He might be playing his way into a bigger role in the offense even with Carter is healthy enough to return. This might be the last week to grab Knight, who is available in 38 percent of leagues.

DeeJay Dallas, Seahawks. The Seahawks are banged up at running back and Dallas might be the last one standing. He led the team in carries last week after Kenneth Walker got hurt, rushing 10 times for 37 yards. Dallas is worth a look in most formats because he could get some starts the next few games. He is available in 97 percent of leagues.

Cam Akers, Rams. Akers was a big surprise last week after taking a backseat to Kyren Williams the previous week. Akers played his best game of the year, rushing 17 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns. He scored a season high 19 fantasy points. The Rams are a mess, but Akers could be the bell cow going forward. This gives him fantasy value. And he is available in 32 percent of leagues.

James Cook, Bills. Cook seems to be gaining the trust of the Bills coaching staff. He had a season high 14 carries last week and has double-digit carries two of three games. Cook could continue to get double-digit touches going forward. The Bills like his skillset and he is making plays with his chances. Cook is available in 40 percent of leagues.

RECEIVER

Nico Collins, Texans. Collins continues to trend upward, having touchdowns two of three games. He also has at least seven targets four straight. He is getting a lot of looks and producing, having double-digit fantasy points three of four games. Collins is available in 56 percent of leagues.

D.J. Chark, Lions. Chark scored a touchdown in Week 12 and followed that with season highs in receptions (five) and yards (98). He is starting to get his footing in the Lions offense. Remember, the team had high hopes for him before injury marred his season. He could be a factor down the stretch and is available in 82 percent of leagues.

Jameson Williams, Lions. Williams made his season debut last week and didn’t catch a pass on just one target. He is an electric player, though, and should see his playing time ramp up in the coming weeks. It would not surprise to see him have a few huge games before the season is over. He is a good speculative add and is available in 45 percent of leagues.

Isaiah Hodgins, Giants. Hodgins is getting more and more playing time for the Giants. The team is super thin at receiver and Hodgins is emerging. He had five receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown on six targets last week. He has at least three catches three straight games. He has some value deeper formats and is available in 99 percent of leagues.

Corey Davis, Jets. Davis finally seems healthy and it showed last week, getting 10 targets in their game against the Vikings. He had five receptions for 85 yards. Remember, he was playing very well earlier in the season before injury derailed him. He had double-digit fantasy points three of his first four games. Davis could be a factor down the stretch and is available in 74 percent of leagues.

TIGHT END

Evan Engram, Jaguars. Engram has been erratic this season, but showed his potential last week, catching five passes for 30 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. He has five games with double-digit fantasy. He might be up and down but is worth using in the right matchups. He is available in 41 percent of leagues.

Austin Hooper, Titans. Hooper is starting to become a much bigger factor in the Titans passing game after a slow start to the year. He has at least three receptions four straight games. His yards aren’t great but is getting the catches and can find the end zone. He has some good matchups in the coming weeks, playing the Jaguars, Chargers and Texans. Hooper is available in 79 percent of leagues.

Daniel Bellinger, Giants. Bellinger returned from his eye injury in Week 13 and tied a season high with five receptions. He was a big part of the offense right away. And with the Giants hurting at receiver, it could be more of the same going forward for Bellinger. He is available in 89 percent of leagues.
