Smith-Njigba has huge Week 9

Fantasy scoring was not off the charts this week but decent. We had a few big fantasy games, including five players scoring 30 or more fantasy points. There also were some big-time duds, though, including poor performances from top players such as Jonathan Taylor, Kyler Murray, Jared Goff and Kyren Williams. Hopefully, you were on the right side of things in Week 9, taking advantage of some of those big-time games.

Jets 21, Texans 13

Fantasy Stud: Garrett Wilson. Wilson had another big game, his best of the fantasy season. He had nine receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns on 10 targets. He has 24-plus fantasy points three of five games. The addition of Davante Adams has not slowed down Wilson. He just keeps producing

Fantasy Dud: C.J. Stroud. Stroud had a really poor showing. He completed just 11-of-30 passes for 191 yards. He was held without a touchdown and didn’t even throw for 200 yards. He is clearly missing his top receivers in the passing game, having a tough time connecting with the options out there right now. Stroud is a tough fantasy play at the moment as long as his top receivers are out.

Game Notes: Davante Adams had his best game as a Jet. He caught seven passes for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Joe Mixon had his fourth straight 100-yard rushing game. He ran 24 times for 106 yards and a touchdown. Mixon has hit the 100-yard mark five of the six games he has played.

Falcons 27, Cowboys 21

Fantasy Stud: Darnell Mooney. Mooney had five receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. Mooney has scores two straight games and touchdowns three of five. He has at least 14 fantasy points five of nine games. Mooney is having a solid first season with the Falcons

Fantasy Dud: Kyle Pitts. Pitts saw his solid streak of games come to an end in this one, catching just a pass for 11 yards. Pitts had double-digit fantasy points four straight games before this dud. He was starting to show more consistency but struggled once again, similar to earlier this year.

Game Notes: Dak Prescott injured his hamstring and left the game early. He was 18-of-24 for 133 yards and a touchdown without an interception before exiting. Cooper Rush played in relief and was 13-of-25 for 115 yards and a touchdown without an interception.

CeeDee Lamb also left the game hurt, leaving with an AC joint injury. He is scheduled for an MRI on Monday. Lamb had eight catches for 47 yards.

Ravens 41, Broncos 10

Fantasy Stud: Zay Flowers. Despite a tough matchup, Flowers produced huge once again. He had five receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Flowers scored a season-best 29.7 fantasy points. It was his third game with 20-plus fantasy points. Flowers is proving to be a matchup-proof player, having 100-yard games four of five

Fantasy Dud: Mark Andrews. Andrews had just two catches for 26 yards. Just when you thought it was safe to use him once again, Andrews produces poorly for fantasy teams, scoring just 4.6 fantasy points. He had at least 14 fantasy points three straight before this one.

Game Notes: Derrick Henry had another 100-yard game, his fifth of the season. He ran 23 times for 106 yards and two touchdowns. Henry has 25-plus fantasy points three of four games.

Courtland Sutton had seven receptions for 122 yards and threw a two-yard touchdown pass. Sutton scored 23.3 fantasy points and hit the 100-yard mark for a second straight game.

Chargers 27, Browns 10

Fantasy Stud: JK Dobbins. Dobbins had his first multiple-touchdown game of the season. He ran 14 times for 85 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 20 yards, giving up 105 total yards. Dobbins had a season-high 24.5 fantasy points in the game. He has 20-plus fantasy points three times

Fantasy Dud: Nick Chubb. Chubb has not been a help to fantasy teams since returning from his major knee injury. He ran 15 times for just 39 yards in this game and caught a pass for negative four yards. Chubb has fewer than six fantasy points two straight games and not a single game more than 60 total yards. He is not worth using for fantasy teams right now.

Game Notes: Cedric Tillman continued his hot play, catching six passes for 75 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. He has 18-plus fantasy points three straight games.

Quentin Johnston had his first 100-yard game of the season. He had four receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown on five targets.

Bills 30, Dolphins 27

Fantasy Stud: Devon Achane. Achane had a big showing, producing big in the running and passing game. He ran 12 times for 63 yards and a touchdown. Achane also caught eight passes for 58 yards and a touchdown. Achane had 121 total yards and two scores in the game. Achane has scores two straight and 26-plus fantasy points each of those games. He is coming alive for fantasy teams, having four games this year with 23-plus fantasy points

Fantasy Dud: Raheem Mostert. Mostert was not a help to fantasy teams. He was held in check, rushing 10 times for 56 yards. He caught two passes for 32 yards, failing to reach double-digit fantasy points. Mostert is a bit of a touchdown-dependent player at this part of the season. He is a boom-or-bust play.

Game Notes: Jaylen Waddle had a crazy stat line. He scored a touchdown but had two catches for negative four yards. He did not even hit double-digit fantasy points in the game.

Tua Tagovailoa had a really strong game, going 25-of-28 for 231 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover.

Commanders 27, Giants 22

Fantasy Stud: Daniel Jones. Jones had a big game in defeat, scoring three times. He was 20-of-26 for 174 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Jones also ran seven times for 54 yards and another touchdown. Jones scored a season-best 27.1 fantasy points. It was his fourth game with 20-plus fantasy points.

Fantasy Dud: Tyrone Tracy. Tracy wasn’t terrible but really didn’t help fantasy teams. He ran 16 times for 66 yards and caught just a pass for three yards. Tracy scored just 7.9 fantasy points after scoring 23 points the previous game. He remains the top back in this offense, though, and should get a big workload going forward. That is the positive for Tracy.

Game Notes: Terry McLaurin had just two receptions but both went for touchdowns. He had 15.9 fantasy points, scoring 14-plus points for the seventh straight game.

Malik Nabers was targeted 11 times once again, catching nine passes for 59 yards. He has double-digit targets five times.

Bengals 41, Raiders 24

Fantasy Stud: Joe Burrow. Burrow had his second five-touchdown game of the season. He was 27-of-39 for 251 yards and five touchdowns with an interception. This was his second game with 30-plus fantasy points. Burrow has been a little up and down but still having a solid overall season.

Fantasy Dud: Alexander Mattison. Mattison ran just nine times for 36 yards and didn’t catch a pass. Mattison was a bust this week, losing out on the rushing touchdown to Zamir White. Mattison scored a season-low 3.6 fantasy points. With the Raiders offense struggling, Mattison has fewer than double-digit fantasy points two straight.

Game Notes: Gardner Minshew was benched in favor of Desmond Ridder. Neither quarterback was very good. Minshew was 10-of-17 for 124 yards with a lost fumble. Ridder was 11-of-16 for 74 yards and a touchdown but lost a fumble.

Mike Gesicki had his first 100-yard game of the season. He had five receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns. He has 12 receptions his last two games.

Titans 20, Patriots 17

Fantasy Stud: Rhamondre Stevenson. Stevenson was really held in check for the most part, but found the end zone two more times. He ran 10 times for 16 yards and a touchdown, and caught five passes for 38 yards and a touchdown. Stevenson has multiple scores two straight games. Stevenson has seven total scores for the season

Fantasy Dud: Antonio Gibson. Gibson is really falling out of favor offensively for the Patriots, getting just two touches in this game. He ran once for negative one yard and caught a pass for 12 yards. Gibson has fewer than three fantasy points three straight. He has not hit double-digit fantasy points since Week 4.

Game Notes: Tony Pollard had his first 100-yard rushing game. He ran 28 times for 128 yards and caught three passes for 26 yards. Pollard has topped 100 total yards two straight.

Calvin Ridley had his second straight solid performance, catching five passes for 73 yards on eight targets. He has 15 receptions his last two games and at least eight targets four straight.

Panthers 23, Saints 22

Fantasy Stud: Chuba Hubbard. Hubbard has struggled some in recent weeks but got back to his good ways in this one. He ran 15 times for 72 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught two passes. Hubbard scored 21.2 fantasy points, which was the third game this season he topped 20 fantasy points

Fantasy Dud: Jalen Coker. Coker got some play this week after getting more playing time and producing the past few games. Plus, with Diontae Johnson gone, many expected Coker to get even more looks. Well, that wasn’t the case in this one. He had two receptions for 36 yards. Coker is a hard player to trust in this offense - even with more playing time.

Game Notes: Alvin Kamara got a monster workload once again. He ran 29 times for 155 yards and caught six passes for 60 yards. Kamara had 35 touches for 215 total yards.

Taysom Hill was heavily involved once again. He ran five times for 19 yards and a touchdown. Hill also caught four passes for 41 yards.

Cardinals 29, Bears 9

Fantasy Stud: Rome Odunze. Odunze was a bright spot in a game with few offensive stars. He had five receptions for 104 yards. This was his second 100-yard game as a pro. It also was his first game with more than 50-receiving yards since Week 3. Odunze is still hit or miss in this offense but showing his potential any given week.

Fantasy Dud: Kyler Murray. There were a lot of duds in this game, but Murray leads the list. He failed to score a touchdown and threw for just 154 yards. He also didn’t do anything on the ground, rushing two times for just six yards. Murray scored just 7.3 fantasy points after having 22-plus points two straight.

Game Notes: The Cardinals had three rushing touchdowns in the game but James Conner was not one of them. He did hit the 100-yard rushing mark, running 18 times for 107 yards.

Caleb Williams was held out of the end zone for a second straight game. He was 22-of-41 for 217 yards without a touchdown or an interception.

Eagles 28, Jaguars 23

Fantasy Stud: Jalen Hurts. Hurts had his third straight three-touchdown performance. He was 18-of-24 for 240 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover. He ran 13 times for 67 yards and another score. Hurts scored 32.2 fantasy points, giving him 30-plus fantasy points for the second straight game.

Fantasy Dud: A.J. Brown. There was a ton of offense in this game for the Eagles, but Brown didn’t get in on the fun. He had two receptions for 36 yards and left the game a little early with a knee injury, which is another concern. It was his first game all season he didn’t reach double-digit fantasy points. Brown will be fine as long as he is healthy but it was a disappointing showing for all his fantasy owners.

Game Notes: Saquon Barkley continued his great play. He ran 27 times for 159 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three passes for 40 yards, giving him 199 total yards.

Tank Bigsby led the Jaguars backfield in carries. He ran eight times for 22 yards while Travis Etienne returned from his injury and ran three times for 24 yards.

Lions 24, Packers 14

Fantasy Stud: Amon-Ra St. Brown. St. Brown didn’t have one of his monster games but was really solid once again. He had seven receptions 56 yards and a touchdown. St. Brown scored 18.6 fantasy points. He has at least 18 points five of eight games. St. Brown has been super consistent once again for all his fantasy owners.

Fantasy Dud: Jordan Love. Love was able to play on his knee injury but didn’t do much for all the fantasy owners that used him. He did play in poor conditions to throw the ball but failed to score a touchdown. Love was 23-of-39 273 yards with an interception. Love has fewer than 15 fantasy points two straight.

Game Notes: Jayden Reed hit the 100-yard mark for the third time this season. He had five receptions for 113 yards on six targets.

Jahmyr Gibbs scored a touchdown for the third straight game. He ran 11 times for 65 yards and a touchdown. Gibbs has at least 12 fantasy points every single game.

Rams 26, Seahawks 20

Fantasy Stud: Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Smith-Njigba had a monster performance, catching seven passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns. He was the top receiver with DK Metcalf still sidelined and took advantage. Smith-Njigba carried fantasy teams to wins this week, scoring 37 fantasy points.

Fantasy Dud: Kyren Williams. There were a lot of big performances in this one, but Williams was surprisingly held in check. He had 22 carries for 69 yards and caught a pass for 26 yards. It was his first game all season without a touchdown. You just expected better from Williams, who had at least 14 fantasy points every game before this one.

Game Notes: Geno Smith had an erratic game with some bad turnovers but was a big help to fantasy teams in the end. He was 21-of-34 for 363 yards and three touchdowns with three interceptions.

Cooper Kupp had double-digit receptions for the first time since the season opener. He caught 11 passes for 104 yards on 14 targets.

Vikings 21, Colts 13

Fantasy Stud: Sam Darnold. Darnold did have some turnovers, but had a great fantasy game besides that. He was 28-of-34 for 290 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. This was his third three-touchdown game of the season. Darnold topped 20 fantasy points for the second straight game

Fantasy Dud: Jonathan Taylor. The Vikings did a great job of shutting down Taylor. He ran 13 times for 48 yards and caught three passes for 11 yards. Taylor failed to hit double-digit fantasy points for the first time all season. He scored fewer than nine points in the game. Taylor will be fine doing forward but this poor showing likely did in a lot of fantasy teams in Week 9.

Game Notes: Joe Flacco got the start over Anthony Richardson but had his struggles. He failed to score a touchdown, finishing 16-of-27 for 179 yards with two turnovers.

T.J. Hockeson made his season debut, returning from his major knee injury. He played a lot and looked healthy, catching three passes for 27 yards.

Hot Plays, Fades and Sleepers: Week 14

Player Notes
Cedric Tillman Dec 6 2:00pm CT
Cedric Tillman

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of the Week 14 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tillman suffered a concussion in Week 12 and it appears that he's still dealing with the symptoms. As a result, Tillman will miss his second straight game, but will hopefully be back in the mix next week. Both Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore will see increased fantasy value with Tillman out for at least one more game. Moore saw 14 targets last week as he hauled in eight of them for 111 yards in the loss to the Denver Broncos. Jeudy went for over 230 yards during that game, so both players should be fine options for Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Malik Nabers Dec 6 1:50pm CT
Malik Nabers

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers (hip) is currently considered questionable ahead of the Week 14 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Nabers was limited in practice on Thursday after suffering a hip flexor injury. As a result, Nabers sat out of Friday's practice session. It sounds like the team is taking it day-by-day, so fantasy managers might have to wait until closer on Sunday for more information on his status. The absence of Nabers would make Darius Slayton a much more appealing streaming option. Both Wan'Dale Robinson and Slayton would have flex appeal if Nabers is forced to sit out.

From RotoBaller

Michael Wilson Dec 6 1:40pm CT
Michael Wilson

Arizona Cardinals second-year wide receiver Michael Wilson should be viewed as a risky streaming option in Week 14 in the Cardinals' home matchup versus the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson has quietly become a rosterable player in fantasy football, but he is still lacking some consistency. Wilson is solidified as the Cardinals' second wide receiver but falls behind Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride in the target hierarchy. Wilson made a couple of big plays in the Cardinals' last matchup against the Seahawks and has been thriving off a lack of attention from opposing defenses. Until Wilson establishes better consistency, he remains a streaming flex option and should be viewed as a risky choice in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Allen Lazard Dec 6 1:40pm CT
Allen Lazard

New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard (chest) has been activated off the injured reserve on Friday. Lazard has been sidelined since suffering a chest injury ahead of Week 8. Before that, Lazard had 30 receptions for 412 yards and five touchdowns in seven games. The expectation is that Lazard will see a dip in production now with Davante Adams fully in the mix. Lazard will now slide in as the third option behind Adams and Garrett Wilson in this offense. The 28-year-old should be considered a low-end flex option for the Week 14 matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

From RotoBaller

Trey McBride Dec 6 1:40pm CT
Trey McBride

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride should be viewed as a high-end TE1 in Week 14 when the Cardinals host the Seattle Seahawks. McBride is on a hot streak right now, posting back-to-back weeks with 12 receptions. He is the focal point of the Cardinals' passing game and has produced regardless of matchup. The only downside to McBride's season has been a lack of touchdown production. However, his target share and usage are high enough to still make him a top-three tight end in fantasy. McBride is a no-doubt starting tight end in fantasy and should be viewed that way for the rest of the season.

From RotoBaller

DeVonta Smith Dec 6 1:30pm CT
DeVonta Smith

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) says that he will suit up for Sunday's Week 14 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Smith hasn't suited up since Week 11 due to a lingering hamstring issue. However, Smith has been able to practice in full all week, so it sounds like he's ready to play again. This would be a good matchup for Smith to return against a shaky Panthers secondary. Smith should be considered a solid WR2, assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks.

From RotoBaller

Marvin Harrison Jr. Dec 6 1:10pm CT
Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. should get WR2 consideration in Week 14 when the Cardinals host the Seattle Seahawks. Harrison Jr. had a solid game last week, scoring the Cardinals' lone touchdown. He also saw his largest target share of the season, receiving 12 targets. With the Cardinals in pursuit of winning the NFC West division, it is expected that they will empty the playbook and come out swinging in this matchup. Taking more shots down the field has been something the Cardinals have needed to incorporate into this offense, and Harrison Jr. is the best option to receive those downfield shots. With Harrison Jr.'s usage increasing, managers should feel much more comfortable with him in the lineup.

From RotoBaller

Trey Benson Dec 6 1:00pm CT
Trey Benson

Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Trey Benson should not be considered for starting lineups in fantasy in Week 14. The Cardinals will have a home divisional matchup with the Seattle Seahawks in what will be a pivotal game for the NFC West. Benson saw an uptick in usage before the Week 11 bye, but post-bye week, that trend has not continued. Benson has had just seven total carries over the last two weeks. With Benson's usage not at a reliable level, he remains a handcuff for James Conner but is not a fantasy starter.

From RotoBaller

Breece Hall Dec 6 1:00pm CT
Breece Hall

According to Andy Vasquez of NJ Advance Media, New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Miami Dolphins. The star running back was dealing with this knee injury before last weekend's game but was able to suit up. This week, Hall was unable to participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday and was also not seen during Friday's session. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status over the weekend but should look to find an alternative option as the Iowa State product is facing an uphill battle to play. If Hall cannot play, rookie Braelon Allen would be viewed as a must-start option in all formats, as he will likely take on a hefty workload. Throughout his rookie campaign, Allen has posted a modest 3.6 yards per carry with three scores while operating as the No.2 option. However, he has a favorable matchup against Miami, which has allowed the 13th-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season.

From RotoBaller

Jadeveon Clowney Dec 6 12:50pm CT
Jadeveon Clowney

According to Joe Person of The Athletic, Carolina Panthers defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (knee) is expected to suit up this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite not practicing this week and carrying a "questionable" designation, head coach Dave Canales expects the 31-year-old to be on the field. Over his past five contests, Clowney has tallied 21 tackles (12 solo) with nine assists, 2.5 sacks, and one pass deflection. If Clowney can suit up this weekend, fantasy managers in IDP formats should expect him to see his typical starting workload.

From RotoBaller

James Conner Dec 6 12:50pm CT
James Conner

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner should be viewed as a high-end RB2 in Week 14 in the Cardinals' divisional battle with the Seattle Seahawks. Conner struggled on the ground in the previous matchup with the Seahawks, recording his season-low of eight rushing yards; however, he remained productive, catching five passes for 41 yards in that game. Conner is the workhorse of this Cardinals offense, and his usage rate is among the highest of all running backs in the NFL. With the Cardinals needing to win this game to position themselves well for a playoff spot, we can expect them to rely on Conner heavily. Fantasy managers should insert Conner into their starting lineups if he isn't already there in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Jamel Dean Dec 6 12:50pm CT
Jamel Dean

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back Troy Hill (foot) and safety Mike Edwards (hamstring) will not suit up in Week 14 to face the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Brianna Dix. Hill has been dealing with a lingering foot injury over the past two weeks but has yet to officially miss time due to it. Edwards sustained his hamstring strain during their Week 13 victory over the Carolina Panthers. As a result, fantasy managers in IDP formats should expect Zyon McCollum and Jamel Dean to see most of the snaps at cornerback, while Antoine Winfield and Christian Izien will see most of the opportunities at safety.

From RotoBaller

Kyler Murray Dec 6 12:40pm CT
Kyler Murray

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray should be considered a high-end quarterback play in Week 14 when the Cardinals host the Seattle Seahawks. This matchup will be the season's biggest game for the Cardinals as they position themselves to try to reach the playoffs. With the stakes of this game as high as they get for a regular-season matchup, we can expect the Cardinals' offense to completely empty the playbook, which would include utilizing Murray's rushing ability. Murray has struggled in his last two games, especially in their previous matchup against the Seahawks, making him due for a huge bounce-back. The offense made strides a week ago but settled for too many field goals to get the win. With the expected increase in rushing and a sense of urgency from the Cardinals, fantasy managers should trust Murray in the starting lineup.

From RotoBaller

Calvin Austin III Dec 6 12:20pm CT
Calvin Austin III

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III (concussion) is good to go for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Cleveland Browns, according to Chris Adamski of Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Austin entered concussion protocol following their Week 13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Austin opened the week as a limited participant but quickly upgraded to full participation on Thursday. Austin has found the back of the end zone in each of his past two contests after tallying just 19 yards during Weeks 10 and 11. Overall, the sophomore wideout has averaged 36.0 receiving yards per game since Week 6 and should be viewed as a risky flex option in deeper formats facing a Cleveland secondary that has allowed the ninth-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.

From RotoBaller

Cedric Tillman Dec 6 12:10pm CT
Cedric Tillman

According to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion) is not practicing on Friday. This is not a good sign for availability heading into the weekend, as Tillman also did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to the final injury report later on Friday, as it will likely clarify his status. Tillman sustained this concussion during Week 12's victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He could not play last week and is now in danger of missing his second-straight contest. If Tillman cannot suit up, fantasy managers should expect Jerry Jeudy and tight end David Njoku to lead the passing attack against a tough Pittsburgh secondary. Last weekend, Jeudy posted a career-best 235 receiving yards.

From RotoBaller

Josey Jewell Dec 6 12:03pm CT
Josey Jewell

Carolina Panthers OLB Jadeveon Clowney (knee), S Nick Scott (hamstring, personal)did not practice and are listed as questionable on the final Week 14 injury report Friday, Dec. 6. LB Josey Jewell (hamstring) was limited at practice and is questionable while CB Caleb Farley (shoulder), OLB D.J. Wonnum (knee) and OG Robert Hunt were full participants at practice and are questionable.

From TheHuddle

Aidan O'Connell Dec 6 12:00pm CT
Aidan O'Connell

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said that quarterback Aidan O'Connell (illness) will be a "full-go" at Friday's practice and is on track to play in the Week 14 tilt on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. O'Connell was under the weather on Thursday and did not practice, but he's feeling better on Friday and should suit up this weekend for his second straight start with Gardner Minshew II (collarbone) out for the season. The second-year signal-caller was basically a game manager for the Raiders in his rookie season, but he threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns in a near upset of the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs last Friday in his third start of the season. With O'Connell good to go this weekend, he'll have the potential for another big game as a QB2 against a Bucs defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs this year.

From RotoBaller

Dallas Goedert Dec 6 12:00pm CT
Dallas Goedert

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) was not seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Friday, suggesting that he'll eventually be ruled out for the Week 14 contest versus the visiting Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Goedert was labeled week-to-week after getting hurt in the Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens and hasn't practiced at all this week. Fantasy managers should have already moved him to their benches. The good news for the Eagles is that it looks like receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) has practiced in full this week and appears to be ready to return after a two-game absence. With Goedert likely out against Carolina, expect Grant Calcaterra to see more pass-catching opportunities in one of the best offenses in the league. In three games that Goedert missed earlier this year due to injury, Calcaterra caught all nine of his targets for 93 yards.

From RotoBaller

Jalen Coker Dec 6 11:50am CT
Jalen Coker

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Jalen Coker (quadriceps) is officially listed as doubtful to play in Week 14 on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Coker was a full participant in the first practice of the week but evidently suffered a setback and was downgraded to limited on Thursday, making it unlikely he'll make his return this Sunday. The 23-year-old will be missing his third straight game if he's officially active on Sunday morning. Coker, an undrafted rookie free agent, has mostly been a dynasty/keeper stash in his first year in the NFL in 2024, as he's caught just 17 of his 26 targets for 263 yards and one touchdown in seven games (one start) for the Panthers. With Coker likely to miss a third straight game, David Moore will be a boom/bust WR4/flex play in deeper fantasy leagues behind Adam Thielen and rookie Xavier Legette in a game in which the Panthers will likely have to throw often.

From RotoBaller

Ja'Tavion Sanders Dec 6 11:50am CT
Ja'Tavion Sanders

Carolina Panthers rookie tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (neck) was a full practice participant on Friday but is questionable to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in Week 14 action. Sanders' full practice means he's likely on the right side of questionable, but the Panthers won't be taking any chances after he suffered a scary neck injury in the Week 12 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The 21-year-old could see fewer offensive snaps against Philly, too, if he's active, making him a risky TE2 streamer for fantasy purposes. However, Sanders will be an intriguing sleeper pick at a low cost in DFS if he's active after he caught nine of his 10 targets for 144 yards and a touchdown in his three previous games. If Sanders sits again this weekend, Tommy Tremble will be in play as a TE2 streamer after going for season-highs in catches (five) and receiving yards (77) in last week's overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
