Team Notes
Commissioner Owned team. In league since '95. Run league since '01. Many good seasons, some great, a few bad. League Champion 4 times, as the State Troopers. Had won the league Title in my first year of fantasy, in the now defunct MRFFL, in '95 as the State Troopers. 2 more Titles, and then the final of 10 seasons with Fanball.com, 2010.Decided to retire the 16 year old team nickname on a high note. My youngest child was born during the G-20 Summit here in Pittsburgh. We tried to drive in to the hospital in a rush, only to get stuck in President Obama's Rolling Roadblock on the Parkway West InBound stretch of highway. Long story made short... we had to call an Ambulance and it took us down the shoulder of the highway at about 50mph. Wife and baby made it safe n sound. I've thought of Rolling Roadblock as a new team name for a little while ... 1st full season after my son's birth,the Championship Title and the new website immdediately the next season.... I think the time is right for the Commish to move on to a new identity in Fantasy Football.
