NorCal Fantasy Football League (NorCal-FFL) - 2022
Introduction
The season will run from 9/8/22 to 1/8/23. All owners are required to actively manage their teams. The Commissioner (Robert Hallquist) maintains the right to exercise reasonable discretion in overseeing that all league transactions, or lack of, are fair and reasonable to all members of the league. This league was created specifically for owners that want to actively participate in all aspects of fantasy football such as smack talking (Ardy), trades (Ardy again) and lots of transactions (Robert)….and to have some fun without costing too much in the process

Overview
There will be two separate drafts for each conference. Each conference can pick any NFL player. Each owner’s team will consist of Active Players (13) and Bench Players (6) for a total of 19 Players for the entire season.
When the season starts you will be required to set your 13 Active Players online at least five minutes prior to the
start of each player’s game. Your 13 Active Players must conform to the following minimums and maximums:
Position Min / Max
QB 1 / 2
RB 1 / 7
WR/TE 1 / 7
K 1 / 7
DEF (Special Teams) 1 / 3
The Active Players will be used to determine your Team score or points based on their individual results from the week’s game. After the final game for the week is played, all Teams scores (points) will be totaled and the Team with the highest score (points) wins the weekly 1st place and 2nd place pool. This will continue for weeks 1 to 18.
Each team will play three games every week from week 1-5 and 7-11 as follows, two head-to-head games in their own conference (based on the RTSports random schedule) and one game against the league average team score for that week.
In week 7 each team will play five match ups, two against their similarly ranked two teams from the other conference (meaning 1st and 2nd will play 1st and 2nd) and the regular already scheduled in conference games based on the random schedule created at the start of the season along with one game against the league average. [The extra two games will be manually set by the Commish early in week 7].
Standings Tie Breaker - In the case of a tie in OVERALL standings, the playoff seating will be determined as follows: head to head match up (first), total accumulated points for the season (second), total points scored against each other head to head (third) and last best conference record (fourth). RT Sports automatically handles this.
The Super Bowl playoffs
Week 15 games will be 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3.
Week 16 the winners of week 15 will then play in the Conference Championship game during week 16, while the losers will play against each other for 3rd and 4th place in the conference.
Week 17 the winners of week 16 will then play for the NorCal League Super Bowl. While all of the remaining teams will be matched up according to their ranked conference position to determine their final Playoff Winning spot.
For example, the 2nd place teams in both Conferences will match up in week 17 to determine who will finish in 3rd and 4th and so on. (Super Bowl teams will get 1st and 2nd ).
The BOTTOM DWELLER playoffs
Week 15 games will be 5 vs 8 and 6 vs 7.
Week 16 the winners of week 15 will then play in the Conference Championship game during week 16, while the losers will play against each other for 7th and 8th place in the conference.
Week 17 the winners of week 16 will then play for the NorCal League BOTTOM DWELLER Bowl. While all of the remaining teams will be matched up according to their ranked conference position to determine their final Playoff Winning spot.
For example, the 11th place teams in both Conferences will match up in week 17 to determine who will finish in 11th and 12th and so on. (BOTTOM DWELLER Bowl teams will get 9th & 10th).
Week 18

Dropped Players – will be held for 1 day then input to the free agent pool and available based on the above schedule.
Trades – Will be handled via RTSports automated system which will send out a league wide email for a league vote within one day. Votes are only needed if you feel the trade is uneven or unfair then if 7 or more owners league wide vote no, the trade is rejected. Trades are only allowed within your own conference and no trades will be allowed after the 12th week of the season.
