We are three weeks in, and its still way to early i feel to decide who are teams to beat, who will be there come playoff time, but lets take a look at a few teams that have risen to the top and question are they possible contenders this year.  

It has to start with the top overall rated team Captain Caveman.  In week 1 Travis's team scored 152 points and was the third highest scoring team, week 2 he won two games scoring 117 points and then last week another scoring downturn to 101 points but was still able to outlast Suckaditka's 71 points.  Caveman are 4-0 and join two other teams at 4-0, We've Got The Juice and the JH Express.  With having Jahmyr Gibbs and a resurgent Chubba Hubbard, the Caveman look pretty good in the running back department.  The key as to any team, will they stay healthy.  Gibbs is taking on a much bigger role with the Lions offense which means more points of course, but a greater possiblity of injury.  Cavemen's wide outs are a little less desirable with Mike Evans leading that group, but an injury last week, though not serious, can cause for a little alarm from the group. 

The Juice rallied last week to remain undefeated as well nipping the Sea-Chickens 118-114. Led by Derrick Henry, DeVonta Smith and Chris Olave, its been a good start to the newest team in our league.  This week he will play fellow undefeated squad the Express who got by Suckaditka last week 107-71 to remain perfect on the year.  The Express will need better production from Ashton Jeanty, Malik Nabers and David Montgomery to remain apart of the upper echelon of the league this year. 

Then we have a trio of 3-1 teams including two teams that finished near the bottom or at the bottom last year.  Farm Cats have already in three weeks beat their win total from a year before.  Brittany's squad, with their 3 wins have guaranteed they will do better than the disastrous 2-23 campaign that they slogged through last year.  A 75-75 win after bench tiebreakers last week versus Jamodaddy clinched the win last week for Britt.  Running back issues hit Brittany hard as Josh Jacobs has been on the commissioners suspended list and no time table as of yet to return and De'Von Achane went down with a season ending ACL injury.  Norm Buds also who finished in last are off to a good start but did drop from the ranks of the undefeateds last week in losing to last years runner-up Cheeseheads.  Tori won 125-75, in an easy win, and moved her record to 3-1 same now as the Norm Buds.  Norm Buds were coming off two wins in week 1 versus GOAT and Spankyz and then last week a 131-88 win versus Wang.  Cheeseheads split week one with win and loss, the loss coming to Caveman after she scored 126 points.  Then week two beat A-Dawgs 111-83 before knocking off Norm Buds last week.  

Last years champion Fish Ticklers is the only other team over .500 at 3-2.  Two teams that were winless until last week was Spankyz and The GOAT.  People were starting to wonder is Janke and Dane were vulnerable and losing their touch, but both teams scored big last week, with Spankyz scoring 141 and GOAT scoring 142 to both get into the win column, at the expense of Injured Reserves.  Poor Mikey was playing both of them and made a furious rally Monday night, but his team came up just short from shocking both league champions as he scored 139 points.  

We do have a couple teams still in the winless column, tough luck Suckditka who scored the second most points this years, but it was against A-Dawgs in week 1.  Wang n Tang also haven't broken the win column yet either as Robby's team is off to another slow start to start the year.

We now enter our double header weeks each week till week 13.  Each team will be playing two games each week now.  Keep an eye for those bye weeks that will also start popping up and Waiver Wire is each Tuesday from 6 am to 3 pm.  Teams at the bottom of the standings have first dips!!!!
