Baltimore Ravens TE Benjamin Watson (knee) was limited during the team's walkthrough Monday, Oct. 23.
Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Campanaro (shoulder), SS Anthony Levine (back), CB Jimmy Smith (Achilles'), LB Terrell Suggs (knee), TE Maxx Williams (ankle) and LB Tim Williams (thigh) did not participate in practice Monday, Oct. 23. FS Tony Jefferson (ankle), LB Patrick Onwuasor (knee), OG Matt Skura (knee) and FS Eric Weddle (ankle) were limited during practice.
Baltimore Ravens WR Breshad Perriman (concussion) was limited during the team's walkthrough Monday, Oct. 23.
Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (concussion) was limited during the team's walkthrough Monday, Oct. 23.
Baltimore Ravens WR Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) was limited during the team's walkthrough Monday, Oct. 23.
Baltimore Ravens RB Terrance West (calf) did not participate in the team's walkthrough Monday, Oct. 23.
Washington Redskins running back Rob Kelley is active for Monday night's game in Philadelphia. He had been listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but will give it a go tonight and should handle the majority of the early down work. It is worth noting, however, that the Redskins did not deactivate Mack Brown like they did last time Kelley was returning from an injury. It could be interpreted as a sign that they're a bit less confident in his health for tonight's game. In any case the Redskins are expected to use a committee approach at RB likely led by Rob Kelley and Chris Thompson. Trent Williams is also active which boosts the offense as a whole.
The Washington Redskins have declared DL A.J. Francis, CB Deshazor Everett, TE Jeremy Sprinkle, CB Josh Norman, SS Josh Harvey-Clemons, OT Ty Nsekhe, OG Tyler Catalina inactive for Week 7.
The Philadelphia Eagles have declared OG Chance Warmack, DT Elijah Qualls, DL Justin Hamilton, LB Mychal Kendricks, CB Ronald Darby, WR Shelton Gibson, LB Steven Means inactive for Week 7.
Houston Texans CB Kevin Johnson (knee) said his knee is feeling good and that he hopes to be able to play against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8.
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry led the team in receiving yards for the second week in a row. Henry snagged four of five passes thrown his way and battled through to end up with 73 yards against the Broncos. While he's gone scoreless over those two weeks, it's a promising sign that the young TE has established good rapport with Philip Rivers and has shown that he's a dependable target week in and week out. Expect the TDs to start falling his way soon.
Denver Broncos WR Isaiah McKenzie (ankle) and OT Menelik Watson (calf) are considered day-to-day, according to head coach Vance Joseph.
Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings SS Andrew Sendejo is appealing his one-game suspension, according to a source.
Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon was coming into Week 7 off a huge pair of games, but it didn't carry over for him. Gordon carried the ball 18 times for just 38 yards and hauled in just one reception. He's still getting plenty of opportunities and owners shouldn't be turned off about one bad performance against a strong defense, but it is worrying that he's only averaged more than 3.3 YPC twice this season. As long as he can keep his reception and touchdown numbers high, they can hide that struggle, but it's still something to keep an eye on.
Minnesota Vikings SS Andrew Sendejo has been suspended one game for violating the NFL's player safety rules for his hit on Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace in Week 7.
Philadelphia Eagles CB Ronald Darby (ankle) will not play in the team's Week 7 game.
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers didn't throw for 300 yards, but he did throw two touchdowns and posted another passer rating over 100. Rivers didn't turn the ball over at all, but he did take three sacks instead of making any ultra-risky throws against one of the best secondaries in football. Rivers has made specifically upped his targeting of young tight end Hunter Henry as of late, and he's riding a recent 8/1 TD/INT ratio over his last four games. Rivers looks like he may be adopting a more cautious approach instead of the gunslinger mode he used last season, but he should remain a strong fantasy quarterback this year.
Buffalo Bills CB E.J. Gaines (hamstring) and FS Jordan Poyer (knee) are considered day-to-day after suffering injuries in Week 7, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Lions defensive back Glover Quin (concussion) was back at practice on Monday. Barring a setback, he should be cleared to return in time for Sunday's contest against the Steelers. This is a big boost for a Lions defense that has been surprisingly productive this season, but recently lost defensive tackle Haloti Ngata for the rest of the season. Quin already has two interceptions, including a pick-six, on the year and has been a big part of the Lions success defensively. The defense as a unit is a solid play this week, particularly if Quin is in action. Quin himself holds value in IDP leagues as well.
A week after getting shut out in Oakland, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin grabbed all the attention. Benjamin lit up the scoreboard with a 65-yard punt return TD as well as a 42-yard touchdown reception to help the Chargers crush the Broncos. Benjamin's only topped 25 yards receiving three times this season, and all three were on the back of a single reception of more than 35 yards. Benjamin will continue to be the epitome of hit-or-miss, but for those in deep leagues dealing with bye week issues, this performance continues to show that Benjamin could turn in a killer performance any day.
