Chase Claypool Oct 25 10:00pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool lost two yards on his lone reception in a 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. It goes down as a disappointing outing for the rookie, who had scored five total touchdowns in the previous two games. The return of Diontae Johnson certainly played into Claypool's slow outing, as did the resurgence of JuJu Smith-Schuster, who drew 14 targets. Claypool's fantasy value going forward appears to be tied to the availability of Johnson, who is the clear alpha wide receiver in Pittsburgh. That being said, Johnson injured his ankle late in the game. The injury doesn't appear to be serious but neither did the back injury that held him out of almost all of the past two games. After looking like a must-start heading into Week 7, Claypool is all of a sudden a shaky flex play for Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Calvin Ridley Oct 25 9:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught five of seven targets for 69 receiving yards and a touchdown in a narrow 23-22 loss to Detroit. Ridley corralled Matt Ryan's lone touchdown throw of the day and made a couple of highlight-reel grabs, including a nifty sideline catch where he got both feet in-bounds. Ridley has produced at least seven targets in all but one game and has eclipsed 100 yards four times already, after doing it twice all of last year. The breakout is in full effect and should continue into Week 8 against the Panthers, who Ridley torched for 136 receiving yards back in Week 6.

    From RotoBaller

Rob Gronkowski Oct 25 9:50pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski had another terrific performance in Week 7, getting five receptions for 62 yards and a score on eight targets. Gronk is starting to look like himself and that's encouraging for fantasy managers. The big tight end has now scored a touchdown in two straight games. He has also seen at least six targets in the past three games and has gotten over 52 yards in those games as well. Gronk is definitely in the starting conversation going forward.

Julio Jones Oct 25 9:40pm ET

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones paced the team in targets, nine, receptions, eight, and receiving yards, 97, in a 23-22 loss to the Lions. He may not have found the end zone, but it's the kind of consistent performance that fantasy managers have come to expect from the former Alabama star. Jones has now averaged 10.3 targets per game in the contests that he's been healthy for, which places him where he's been for the last seven or so seasons- in the elite WR1 conversation. Week 8 brings a matchup against the Panthers, who have struggled to contain opposing number-one wideouts this season.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Godwin Oct 25 9:40pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin recorded nine receptions for 88 yards and a score on nine targets in Week 7. The WR finally had his breakout game of the season and proved on Sunday why he was a very high pick in drafts this year. Assuming Godwin stays healthy, he is a solid play each week given his large role in this offense.

    From RotoBaller

James Conner Oct 25 9:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner gained 82 yards on 20 carries and added three receptions for 29 yards in a 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. It goes down as the first time Conner has failed to find the end zone since Week 1 this season. To make matters worse for fantasy managers, Conner had to watch as Benny Snell Jr. vultured him with a one-yard touchdown run in the game. Conner has been a reliable fantasy asset this season but he draws a tough matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Mike Evans Oct 25 9:40pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans had a quiet day in Week 7, grabbing two receptions for 37 yards on two targets. It was certainly a disappointing day for Evans considering several of his teammates had a terrific game. With many mouths to feed on this offense, days like this are bound to happen and the addition of Antonio Brown will only saturate this unit more. Nevertheless, Evans is a top target for Tom Brady and remains in the starting conversation each week given his potential.

    From RotoBaller

    JuJu Smith-Schuster Oct 25 9:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster caught nine of 14 targets for 85 yards in a 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. It was a welcome sight as Smith-Schuster wound up leading the Steelers in receiving in the outing after doing very little on the field over the previous two weeks. Smith-Schuster still has a way to go before fantasy managers can fully trust him in their lineups but at least he turned in a useful stat line in Week 7. He may struggle to repeat his success in a tough Week 8 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

    From RotoBaller

Ronald Jones II Oct 25 9:30pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II ended Week 7 with 13 carries for 34 yards and a rushing touchdown along with one reception for two yards on two targets. Jones had a disappointing week as he had over 100 yards rushing the past three games. In addition, Leonard Fournette received 11 carries and was a bigger factor. Going forward, Jones is still the safest RB option from this team considering his good workload each week and general consistency.

    From RotoBaller

Todd Gurley Oct 25 9:30pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley II enjoyed a nice bounce-back performance in a loss to the Lions. Gurley II handled a season-high 25 touches, turning them into a disappointing 82 scrimmage yards, though he found the end zone twice. It's become somewhat of a theme for the veteran back, as he's been largely unimpressive on the ground aside from games against the Bears and Panthers. Still, he's been a rock-solid RB2 for fantasy purposes. A juicy matchup awaits in Week 8 against the Panthers, who allowed Gurley II to run wild for 121 rushing yards in Week 6.

    From RotoBaller

Ben Roethlisberger Oct 25 9:30pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger struggled in a 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. Roethlisberger completed 32 of 49 passes for 268 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions in the win. He connected with wideout Diontae Johnson for both of his touchdowns, giving the veteran 13 scores on the year. Overall, it was a rough outing for Roethlisberger, who came into the game with just one interception on the year. Roethlisberger may struggle to shake off the poor outing in Week 8 against a tough defense employed by the Baltimore Ravens.

    From RotoBaller

Scott Miller Oct 25 9:30pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller paced the team with six receptions for 109 yards and a score on nine targets in the Week 7 win over the Raiders. This was by far Miller's best game of the season in terms of receptions, yards, and targets. The addition of Antonio Brown will likely impact Miller's production going forward and the WR has been inconsistent, meaning he's a risky flex play at best for fantasy.

    From RotoBaller

Tom Brady Oct 25 9:20pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady may be 43, but he sure didn't look like it on Sunday. The QB torched the Raiders by going 33-for-45 for 369 yards and four touchdowns. He also added a rushing touchdown. It was another terrific performance by Brady and the addition of Antonio Brown very soon could only elevate his play. The QB remains in the starting tier each week considering the numbers he has been putting up this season.

    From RotoBaller

Matt Ryan Oct 25 9:20pm ET

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan completed 31 of 42 passes for 338 yards and a touchdown in a 23-22 loss to the Lions. Ryan found Calvin Ridley for his lone score of the game, though there certainly opportunities for more. Still, the takeaway from this game is that Ryan has righted the ship after there were some reasons to be concerned about his performances- Julio Jones certainly helped in that regard. The veteran signal-caller will look to do better in his second try against the Panthers Defense after they held him under 250 passing yards without a score.

    From RotoBaller

Michael Thomas Oct 25 9:20pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (hamstring) has had a disastrous start to the 2020 season. He suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 1 and hasn't been back on the field since then, though his last two missed games were due to a fight with a teammate and a hamstring injury. Now, there seems to be speculation that Thomas could be on the trade block with the trade deadline approaching. It's hard to know how a trade would effect Thomas's fantasy value. He'd been a staple of consistency for fantasy owners on a yearly basis before this year's bizarre and unfortunate start. However, at this point, it seems as if a change of scenery for the star receiver could be welcoming news for both Thomas and the Saints.

    From RotoBaller

Leonard Fournette Oct 25 9:20pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette finished Week 7 with 11 carries for 50 yards and six receptions for 47 yards on seven targets. After dealing with injuries for the past several weeks, Fournette was effective this week and chipped in his best receiving total of the season. Nevertheless, him getting more carries surely makes this backfield confusing once again from a fantasy perspective. Fournette needs to show consistency before he can be trusted as a weekly starter.

    From RotoBaller

George Kittle Oct 25 9:10pm ET

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle caught five of his seven targets for 55 yards in Week 7 against the New England Patriots. It was a solid PPR game for Kittle, though a bit disappointing in non-PPR leagues. The 49ers crushed the Patriots in the game, winning 33-6, and they leaned heavily on their running game in the victory. All four of the team's offensive touchdowns came on the ground. While quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo didn't throw a touchdown pass in the game, he did play relatively well, completing 20 of his 25 passes, which is a good sign for Kittle going forward.

    From RotoBaller

    San Francisco 49ers Oct 25 9:10pm ET

The 49ers Defense turned in their second-straight dominant defensive performance in Week 7. They held the New England Patriots to 241 total yards and just six points. They also came up with four interceptions and two sacks in the game. The strong showing from the 49ers Defense comes a week after they held the Los Angeles Rams to just 16 points. The unit is truly showing elite potential at this point. Unfortunately, they have a tough matchup against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8. It will be tough to trust them in that game, so you may have to drop them in standard leagues, but make sure to have them on your radar when the matchups get better.

    From RotoBaller

Cleveland Browns Oct 25 9:00pm ET

The Cleveland Browns Defense forced two turnovers and notched four sacks in a 37-34 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7. Cleveland's defense came into the game leading the league in takeaways and added two more to their total, one on a Joe Burrow interception and another on a Myles Garrett strip-sack. While the leaky Cleveland defense allowed the game turned into a shootout, they at least managed to be productive along the way. Garrett, of course, led the way with two sacks and the forced fumble. The Browns will look to stay hot in Week 8 when they face the Las Vegas Raiders at home.

    From RotoBaller

Brandon Aiyuk Oct 25 9:00pm ET

San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Brandon Aiyukhad a fantastic game in Week 7 against the New England Patriots. He caught six of his seven targets for a team-high 115 yards. He was a favorite target of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in the game. Aiyuk tied with George Kittle for the team lead in targets. He had two more targets than the team's No. 1 receiver, Deebo Samuel. Aiyuk has flashed some big play abilities during his rookie year, but this was his first time with over 100 yards in a game. He's someone worth watching closely and is worth owning in deep leagues, though the production overall might be a bit inconsistent.
