Drew Lock Sep 29 1:20pm ET

There is a chance that Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock (shoulder) could play in Week 5 against the Patriots, but the Broncos have more hope that he'll return in Week 6 in a more favorable matchup against the Dolphins. This is why Denver didn't place the 23-year-old on short-term Injured Reserve. The offense was just unable to get into any kind of flow in Week 3 against a tough Buccaneers Defense, and it also doesn't help that wide receiver Courtland Sutton (knee) is lost for the season. Lock's return should make rookie Jerry Jeudy and tight end Noah Fant more attractive in season-long and DFS leagues, but the second-year signal-caller will remain a midrange QB2 until further notice with the Broncos dealing with so many injuries. Until Lock returns, Jeff Driskel is a desperation QB2 streamer in superflex setups.

Jamison Crowder Sep 29 1:20pm ET

New York Jets head coach Adam Gase said that wide receiver Jamison Crowder (hamstring), rookie left tackle Mekhi Becton (shoulder) and offensive tackle George Fant (concussion) will all be limited in Tuesday's walkthrough practice. All three players are trending toward playing on Thursday night against the Broncos. It's good news for a Jets offense that has been pitiful without Crowder and running back Le'Veon Bell the last two games. If Crowder suits up this week, he should be quarterback Sam Darnold's top aerial target, which would put him on the flex radar in PPR leagues. Crowder could see even more targets if Breshad Perriman misses another contest with his injury.

Lamar Jackson Sep 29 1:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones (groin) tweaked his groin in the Monday night win over the Ravens, but it's not believed to be a serious injury. Jones has been a Pro Bowler each of the last two seasons and recorded two sacks of Lamar Jackson on Monday night, proving how valuable he is to the Chiefs Defense. Kansas City is hoping that the pass-rusher can recover in time to take on the Patriots in a Week 4 showdown. The 26-year-old agreed to a four-year, $85 million contract extension with the team in the offseason after he was franchise tagged. Jones had 24.5 sacks in the last two seasons combined and is in play as a starter in IDP leagues when he's healthy.

Damon Arnette Sep 29 1:10pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders rookie cornerback Damon Arnette (thumb) is visiting a thumb specialist on Tuesday after he injured it in the Week 3 loss to the Patriots, and he could be sidelined up to six weeks. In a worst-case scenario, Arnette would be placed on Injured Reserve. The first-round pick fractured the same thumb in training camp, so this is certainly something to watch moving forward. Either way, Arnette should be able to return this year for the Raiders secondary. The 24-year-old has been improving and has tallied 14 tackles (11 solo) and one pass defensed in the first three games of his NFL career.

Jermaine Kearse Sep 29 12:03pm ET

Free-agent WR Jermaine Kearse (Lions) announced his retirement Tuesday, Sept. 29.

    From TheHuddle

Dallas Goedert Sep 29 11:03am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (ankle) has a small fracture in his ankle that will keep him out multiple weeks. He's not expected to require surgery.

Fantasy Spin: Goedert's absence will force the Eagles to rely more on Zach Ertz and Miles Sanders. Richard Rodgers could see a few looks, but it's not enough to move the needle in fantasy.

    From TheHuddle

Dallas Goedert Sep 29 11:00am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) has a left ankle fracture and not a sprained ankle, according to an NFL source. Head coach Doug Pederson said that Goedert will be out for an extended period of time, but the source said the timeline for a return shouldn't be too lengthy. Everything will depend on how Goedert's recovery goes. It's bad news for those that roster Goedert, as he had 12 catches for 131 yards and a touchdown in the first two games before getting injured after just six snaps in the Week 3 tie with the Bengals. Zach Ertz should see his target share increase with Goedert out, especially since Philly's receiving corps is really banged up. If you have the room, Goedert is worth stashing in an Injured Reserve spot since he should return at some point in 2020.

Patrick Mahomes Sep 29 12:43am ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes became the fastest player to 10,000 passing yards in NFL history during the Week 3 win against the Baltimore Ravens, doing so in just his 34th career game.

    From TheHuddle

Nick Boyle Sep 29 12:33am ET

Baltimore Ravens TE Nick Boyle was targeted just once in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs, and he cashed it in for a five-yard touchdown grab.

Fantasy Spin: As long as Mark Andrews is healthy then Boyle's fantasy appeal is rather non-existent. Only keep him rostered in the deepest of leagues heading into Week 4 against the Washington Football Team.

    From TheHuddle

Mark Andrews Sep 29 12:23am ET

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews finished with three catches for just 22 yards in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs despite a game-high eight targets.

Fantasy Spin: Lamar Jackson was trying to get it to his hulking tight end, including one deep pass into the end zone that was just missed, but the entire team was a little off on Monday. Andrews will look to rebound for his fantasy owners in Week 4 against the Washington Football Team.

    From TheHuddle

Lamar Jackson Sep 29 12:13am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson completed 15-of-28 passes for a career-low 97 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs while adding nine runs for 83 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Jackson showed flashes early, but the Chiefs did a good job forcing him outside the pocket and taking away anything in the pass game. Fantasy owners were likely expecting much more in a showdown with Patrick Mahomes, who outpassed him by 288 yards, the largest margin in a game between two former MVPs. The Ravens travel to meet the Washington Football Team in Week 4.

    From TheHuddle

Mark Ingram Sep 29 12:13am ET

Baltimore Ravens RB Mark Ingram rushed seven times for 30 yards in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs and he did not have a catch with only one target.

Fantasy Spin: It wasn't a great game for anyone in the Ravens offense, as the Chiefs completely outplayed them. Ingram will look to bounce back in Week 4 on the road against the Washington Football Team.

    From TheHuddle

Marquise Brown Sep 29 12:10am ET

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown was incredibly quiet in Monday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, catching two of his six targets and finishing with 13 yards. With Baltimore finishing with under 100 passing yards, Brown's numbers still put him third on the team in receiving yards, if you're looking for a positive to take away from this game. Brown's a high-ceiling and low-floor fantasy receiver who'll have a lot better performances than this one, and he probably won't have any worse ones either.

    From RotoBaller

Devin Duvernay Sep 29 12:10am ET

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay showed off his speed on Monday night, taking a kickoff 93 yards to the house for the first kick return touchdown of the 2020 NFL season. He was less effective as a receiver, catching two passes for seven yards. Duvernay is an intriguing young player who should see his role grow as the year progresses, but who also has his upside capped by the fact that Ravens throw so little. It's too early to add him in redraft leagues, but if you have a chance to get him at a low cost in dynasty, you might want to.

    From RotoBaller

Nick Boyle Sep 29 12:10am ET

Baltimore Ravens tight end Nick Boyle caught the team's only offensive touchdown in the team's Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, with a five-yard grab on his only target of the game. Boyle has just four receptions through three games and while the touchdown was nice for anyone using him as a punt play in DFS, it didn't really help anyone in season-long leagues, and it shouldn't lead to you rushing out and putting a waiver claim in for a guy who just caught his third career touchdown in his sixth NFL season.

    From RotoBaller

Chuck Clark Sep 29 12:03am ET

Baltimore Ravens S Chuck Clark registered a game-high 10 total stops with six solo tackles in the Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

    From TheHuddle

Marlon Humphrey Sep 29 12:03am ET

Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey posted a total of six tackles with two passes defensed and a quarterback hit in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

    From TheHuddle

Mark Andrews Sep 29 12:00am ET

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews led the team in targets on Monday against the Chiefs. Unfortunately, he couldn't bring most of them in, finishing with three receptions for 22 yards. Andrews had trouble with his hands all night. Usually a reliable tight end, we can probably chalk this one up to the struggles of the entire Ravens offense. Andrews remains a weekly TE1 play in season-long leagues.

    From RotoBaller

Sammy Watkins Sep 28 11:53pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins went for seven catches for 62 yards on eight targets in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Spin: Watkins was listed as questionable for this game with a concussion and neck ailment, so many fantasy owners likely weren't able to enjoy this performance. The Chiefs are back in action in Week 4 against the Patriots.

    From TheHuddle

Mark Ingram Sep 28 11:50pm ET

Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram II couldn't find any room in Monday night's loss to the Chiefs, rushing seven times for 30 yards and failing to bring in his only target. Not a great showing from the veteran back, but he did have seven of the 12 carries for running backs on the night and remains the lead back. He's a solid RB2/3 option most weeks in a run-centric offense, but does have risk in games like this one where the game script takes the running backs out of the game. Thankfully for Ingram, the Ravens don't play many games like that.
