Dynasty Analysis: Musgrave has been earning first-team reps and possesses an athletic profile. The 6'6/253 lbs. target also turned in an impressive 4.61 40-yard dash during the NFL Combine. There's little question Musgrave has upside rookie potential on a team clearly with a need, and if not for a spotty injury history in his time at Oregon State, may have been a back-end first-round prospect. Even with a checkered injury past, he was still selected with the 11th-selection during the NFL Draft. Found as DLF's TE19, the dynasty community is already expecting Musgrave to quickly slide into the starting role, and, should that occur, he's a candidate to outplay his rookie TE4 status.

Dynasty | Panthers receiver Terrace Marshall is a breakout candidate in 2023 Dynasty Analysis: Marshall was unable to follow on to previous LSU mega-stars Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase but possesses an intriguing blend of size (6'2/200) and athleticism as he enters his third year with the Panthers. Now with a chance of greater quarterback consistency with rookie Bryce Young expected to start out of the gate, Marshall will have an opportunity to make good on the third-year narrative related to receivers. Dynasty coaches are currently more smitten with rookie second-round selection Jonathan Mingo but, according to the Panthers' beat writer, Marshall is expected to be the starter of the two in 2023. Listed as DLF's WR77 and still only 22 years of age, Terrace Marshall represents an upside value-on opportunity.

Dynasty | Brock Purdy's recovery from elbow surgery prompted GM John Lynch to say he's "incredibly encouraged." Dynasty Analysis: By all accounts, Purdy's recovery is going very well and Lynch hopes Purdy will be ready for the regular season, though won't be pushed. Even more notably, Lynch called the sophomore quarterback the "leader in the clubhouse," no small feat for 2022's Mr. Irrelevant. All signs point to Purdy remaining the team's starting quarterback if healthy and his ascent breathes hope and promise into all late-round rookie quarterbacks. The bigger question is whether Purdy truly represents star potential or if he'll be just another in a long line of serviceable quarterbacks that fail to reach the upper echelon. Based on DLF's QB28 ranking, the dynasty community remains unconvinced. Meanwhile, Trey Lance and Sam Darnold continue to jockey for starting reps until Purdy returns.

Dynasty | Bucs head coach wants to get Mike Evans back to his average of nine touchdowns per season Dynasty Analysis: Turning 30 in August, Evans turned in his lowest touchdown output (6) since 2017. Remarkably, this came with Tom Brady at the helm, making a return to nine a lofty goal as Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask battle for the starting role in 2023. Evans' 6'5" size continues to be an issue for smaller defensive backs but he'll have every chance to return to form, though Father Time may also be a variable to consider. Slipping as DLF's WR37, Evans is clearly a win-now asset in dynasty and possesses remaining production runway to be considered for addition.

Dynasty | Darren Waller continues to stand out in OTAs Dynasty Analysis: Waller has been all over the field and all across the formation in camp, quickly becoming one of Daniel Jones' favorite targets. Turning 31 in September, Waller is looking for a resurgence following two injury-marred seasons in 2021 and 2022. Clearly, the Giants are on the rise as an offense and he should find plenty of opportunities in the tight-end-friendly system. Age is catching up with the once-elite player but a new team and upside potential should keep him in the mix for TE1 production. Darren Waller is listed as a fading TE9 in DLF's tight end rankings.

Free-agent quarterback Tom Brady remains retired. Yet, it appears the multi-time Super Bowl Champion has a better chance of suiting up, even while owning a part of the Raiders. It seemed impossible, but TMZ has since reported that 24 teams, not 32, could vote in favor of Brady holding multiple roles with the franchise. However, separate votes would be held for each scenario, one for the ownership stake and the other for Brady to play while owning a piece of the team. That said, the 45-year-old would need to un-retire for a second time, something many believe won't ever happen. But this situation is starting to gain traction heading toward training camp, although a return by Brady won't be good news for Jimmy Garoppolo (foot), who is working on getting cleared after having surgery this offseason.

Free-agent tight end Jesse James signed a deal with the Saints on Wednesday. The 28-year-old is best known for his time in Pittsburgh, where he spent four seasons before making stops in Detroit, Chicago, and Cleveland. In 104 career games, he totaled 157 catches for 1,522 yards and 12 touchdowns. However, despite a few decent showings from James over the years, he likely won't do much for fantasy managers if he remains with the Saints heading into the regular season, considering New Orleans has Juwan Johnson, Taysom Hill, and Foster Moreau on the roster.

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said wide receiver Chase Claypool is dealing with "soft tissue stuff," after he did not practice during Wednesday's organized team activities. Claypool has missed just four games in three seasons since entering the NFL and fantasy managers shouldn't be concerned about his status at this time. That said, his fantasy football upside is severely limited in the run-first Bears' offense. In seven games with Chicago last season, he caught just 14 passes for 140 yards and rushed once for four yards. Now, he looks to be the third or fourth option in the passing game behind DJ Moore, Darnell Mooney, and potentially Cole Kmet. Based on what we know now, he's un-rosterable in shallow leagues and is an end-of-the-bench option in deep leagues.

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed is starting alongside Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs in team drills during OTAs. While it's too early to say he'll definitely start for Green Bay in Week 1, it's an encouraging sign. Reed posted 2,919 yards from scrimmage and 29 touchdowns in four collegiate seasons at Western Michigan and Michigan State, playing himself into a second-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft. It appears the plan is for him to start at slot, with Watson and Doubs out wide. He'll have a wide range of outcomes depending on how effective Jordan Love is as a passer in his first season as the team's starter, but Reed will likely be on the fantasy football radar right away as a rookie.

The Denver Broncos released its longtime kicker Brandon McManus last week and signed Elliott Fry on Wednesday to compete to replace him. Fry has appeared in three NFL games since leaving the University of South Carolina in 2017, making five of his six career field goal attempts. It's early in the offseason so Fry is no lock to make the roster and win the starting job, but if the Broncos offense bounces back under new head coach Sean Payton, he'll be on the fantasy radar -- especially since the altitude and thin air in Denver makes things easier on kickers.

New England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton is reportedly a significant piece of the offense in the early part of OTAs, which could mean he'll see an expanded role in 2023. The 2022 second-round pick missed the first four weeks of last season with a collarbone injury and never quite became a consistent member of the Mac Jones-led offense. With Jakobi Meyers out of town and several Patriots' pass-catchers aging, Thornton should have every opportunity to command targets. JuJu Smith-Schuster will likely operate as the team's go-to guy out of the slot, but the sub-4.4 speed Thornton may be a sneaky best ball value with his big-play skill set.

Despite splitting carries with veteran Ezekiel Elliott last year, Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard proved to be one of the most explosive ball-carriers in the league. He had 31 runs of 10-plus yards, including 15 gains of 10-plus rush yards over expected. Pollard's top speed didn't make a huge difference in his explosive score, but his 43 runs at 15-plus mph showed his playmaking ability and helped him finish with 1,007 yards on just 193 carries (5.2 yards per attempt). The 26-year-old suffered a devastating leg injury in the postseason, so his only question heading into the 2023 season is how long it will take him to get back to full speed? Despite the injury concerns, Pollard should be drafted as at least a midrange RB1 in fantasy.

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb lacks the top-end speed that many of the most explosive runners in the league have, but he has the ability to run through tacklers with power, and his top gear packs sneaky get-away burst. Chubb led the league with 47 runs of 10-plus yards in 2022, but his success rate was lower than many expected due to Cleveland's poor blocking giving him a low expected yards per carry (3.8). Of his 1,525 rushing yards, 1,177 came after contact, which ranked third in the NFL. He was also the only qualified RB to have double-digit first downs gained over expected. The 27-year-old continues to run hard in an offense that loves to run the football, so he'll easily remain a top-10 fantasy RB heading into the 2023 campaign.

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Amari Cooper, who had core-muscle surgery in February, has been "great" with the young receivers and will "start doing stuff this week." Cooper didn't take part in organized team activities last week. The 28-year-old pass-catcher is working back into on-field drills for the first time this offseason, which means he should be at full strength by training camp this summer. Cooper finished as the WR10 in half-point PPR scoring last year, catching 78 of his 132 targets for 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns in 17 games played. In his second year working with quarterback Deshaun Watson, he should be able to develop more chemistry and is fully expected to be the No. 1 receiver yet again. Target him as a high-end WR2 in fantasy drafts.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd was at the voluntary organized team activities on Tuesday after being absent from the team up to that point through the voluntary offseason program. It's not really notable that Boyd hasn't been at voluntary activities this offseason as he heads into his fourth season working with quarterback Joe Burrow. The 28-year-old receiver finished with 58 receptions, his lowest total since 2017, adding 762 receiving yards and five touchdowns for the second straight season in 16 games (14 starts) in 2022. Boyd is attractive because of the offense he plays in, but he's more of a WR4/5 in fantasy as long as he remains behind stud wideouts Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in Cincy.

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that quarterback Aaron Rodgers (calf) is "fine," but he will be limited in organized team activities on Wednesday. The Jets are working to get Rodgers practicing in full by next week. The hope is that the 39-year-old future Hall of Famer will be back practicing in full by this Friday after he suffered a minor calf strain in practice last week. It's a reminder that Rodgers isn't a spring chicken anymore, but he should be just fine for training camp this summer and the start of the regular season this fall. The former Green Bay Packers signal-caller has better offensive weapons around him in 2023 than he did in his final year with the Cheeseheads, but fantasy managers should still view him as more of a high-end QB2 than a QB1 in what could be the final season of his illustrious career.

Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera said he's been impressed with running back Antonio Gibson's pass-catching abilities and athleticism at organized team activities. Rivera mentioned that Gibson entered the league as a pass-catching RB out of Memphis, and he's especially dangerous in space with the ball in his hands. The 24-year-old did manage a career-high 46 catches for 353 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games (six starts) in his third NFL season in 2022, but he also had a career-low 149 carries for 546 yards and three touchdowns on the ground with Brian Robinson in the fold. Washington wants to get Gibson more touches in offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy's system this year, so he could be a pretty valuable RB3/flex in PPR fantasy leagues in 2023.

Dynasty | The Jaguars are holding Calvin Ridley back to ensure he's healthy for the regular season. Dynasty Analysis: Ridley is working hard to be ready for the regular season while the team wants to remain "cautious" in his return to make sure he doesn't overdo it. It's been nearly two years since Ridley was last on the field and much has changed in that time, most notably now having Trevor Lawrence as his quarterback. It's good news to hear the 28-year-old is anxious to get back on the field and, while the two lost seasons during the prime of his career were suboptimal for dynasty coaches, there remains plenty of time for the upside receiver to have an impact for years to come. Calvin Ridley is listed as DLF's WR39 and remains an intriguing buy-now for competitive dynasty managers.

Dynasty | Khalil Shakir continues to get reps with Josh Allen while Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis are away from the team Dynasty Analysis: The team reportedly likes Shakir's flexibility in that he can play in the slot or on the boundary. At the same time, Shakir struggled to develop in his rookie season and inconsistent hands have been on display early in camp. It's a continuation of a trend that started in college. The sophomore is unquestionably in a great situation should he be able to develop the trust of the coaching staff and Allen, and he'll have every opportunity to showcase improved performance as his reps increase into training camp. Shakir caught wind in his sails from the dynasty community who immediately attached premium due to his drafted situation in Buffalo but failed to produce as a rookie. Now as a sophomore, he'll need to produce in 2023 or slip further from his DLF WR83 ranking.

Dynasty | James Cook has been impressive in camp, showcasing his hands as a receiver Dynasty Analysis: It should be no surprise as Cook was drafted as a third-down specialist, potentially with some between-the-tackles upside. The sophomore has yet to prove he can be an inside runner and with Damien Harris now in the mix, he may not get the opportunity. Additionally, the Bills continue to be mentioned as a landing spot for one of the available veteran backs including Dalvin Cook (his brother) and Ezekiel Elliott. Acquisition of another back would further pressure James Cooks' RB25 ranking on DLF.
