Pat Freiermuth Nov 30 3:20pm ET
    Pat Freiermuth

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) has been placed in the NFL's concussion protocol. The rookie tight end suffered the injury late in Sunday's blowout loss to the Bengals and is now in jeopardy of missing Sunday's critical game with their divisional rival Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers are already without Eric Ebron (knee) who is on the injured reserve list, so that would leave Zach Gentry and Kevin Rader as the only two tight ends on the roster if Freiermuth can't play. If he is able to clear protocol in time for Sunday, he makes for a strong play at a very weak position in terms of fantasy production. The 23-year-old has caught six touchdown passes this season, which is good for third among tight ends behind only Hunter Henry and Dawson Knox.

Saquon Barkley Nov 30 3:10pm ET
    Saquon Barkley

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley will be a focal point of the offense down the stretch, according to head coach Joe Judge. Barkley hasn't produced good fantasy numbers in the two games since his return, but coach Judge still sees "an explosive athlete." The good news for fantasy managers is that the former second overall pick started slow the first two games of the season, but was able to have strong outings in Week 3 and Week 4 where he dominated the backfield touches and snaps. The 24-year-old played 86% of the snaps in Week 12 and touched the ball 17 times, so we can expect a significant workload for the fourth-year running back moving forward. With Freddie Kitchens now calling the plays, Barkley should be able to get more opportunities in space for some chunk plays. For now, he can be valued as a high-end RB2, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him get back to producing RB1 numbers to close out the season.

Nick Williams Nov 30 1:40pm ET
    Nick Williams

The Detroit Lions are releasing defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand (groin) off Injured Reserve on Tuesday with an injury settlement, according to a source. Hand should be healthy in a few weeks, though, so he could provide some defensive line depth for a playoff-bound team. The 26-year-old was placed on IR after suffering his groin injury in the Week 11 loss to the Cleveland Browns, and he'll be forced to miss two more games. Nick Williams will see an increased role for the Lions with Hand no longer with the team. Before his injury, Hand had only two combined tackles and a pass defensed in three games played for Detroit.

Marcus Mariota Nov 30 1:30pm ET
    Marcus Mariota

Las Vegas Raiders backup quarterback Marcus Mariota came off the bench in the Thanksgiving overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys last Thursday to score a touchdown, and the Raiders plan to continue using Mariota in their game plan moving forward. "Without giving too much away, I think he is hopefully going to be a part of the packages as we go forward," interim head coach Rich Bisaccia said. Mariota has been a bit of a wild-card gadget player for the Raiders in 2021, but he has only played five total offensive snaps in five games this season, carrying the ball five times for 45 yards and the one touchdown. He has not attempted a pass. The 28-year-old might be on the field for a play or two in Week 13 against the Washington Football Team, but he has zero fantasy value as long as Derek Carr is healthy.

Elijah Mitchell Nov 30 1:00pm ET
    Elijah Mitchell

Among full-time running backs, only the Cleveland Browns' Nick Chubb (4.26 yards) has averaged more yards after initial contact than San Francisco 49ers rookie running back Elijah Mitchell (3.84 yards) this year. Mitchell is also closing in on Steelers rookie Najee Harris for most rushing yards by a rookie this year. Harris currently has 708 rushing yards, while Mitchell is at 693. In his first game back from broken finger in Week 12, Mitchell had 27 carries for 133 yards and a touchdown and caught five of his six targets for 35 yards in the win over the Minnesota Vikings. The impressive 23-year-old is San Fran's clear lead back and will have RB1 upside in Week 13 against a Seattle Seahawks defense that was just gashed on the ground by Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic.

Jauan Jennings Nov 30 1:00pm ET
    Jauan Jennings

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings started the year as the team's No. 5 receiver, but he was the third wideout in the Week 12 win over the Minnesota Vikings, and he could be the No. 2 this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks with Deebo Samuel (groin) expected to be out. Jennings averaged six offensive snaps in the first seven games, but that number has jumped to 30 in the last three contests. And head coach Kyle Shanahan and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo are gaining trust in him, as they targeted him twice in the red zone last Sunday. The 24-year-old caught two of his three targets for 24 yards and a score in Week 12 while playing 37% of the snaps. Expect him to be even more involved against a vulnerable Seahawks defense this week, making him worthy of a pickup and potential WR4/flex play in deeper leagues.

Darrell Henderson Nov 30 12:50pm ET
    Darrell Henderson

Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. (quadriceps) is nursing a quadriceps strain that will be monitored throughout the week, according to head coach Sean McVay. Don't be surprised if Henderson is missing from practice or limited to kick off practice sessions on Wednesday as the team prepares for a Week 13 meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite the injury, the 24-year-old handled 20 touches for 73 total yards and one touchdown in the Week 12 loss to the Green Bay Packers, so unless he suffers a setback this week, he could be just fine for a tasty matchup against the Jaguars this Sunday. If not, backup Sony Michel could be a nice plug-and-play RB2 option for fantasy managers. Keep an eye on Henderson's practice status this week.

    From RotoBaller

Fred Warner Nov 30 12:50pm ET
    Fred Warner

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner (hamstring) suffered a hamstring strain in the Week 12 win over the Minnesota Vikings and will miss Week 13 against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. The 25-year-old's absence will be a big loss in the middle of the Niners defense, and San Fran could also be without linebacker Dre Greenlaw (abdomen) after he just returned from Injured Reserve. Warner ranks as the No. 26 IDP linebacker through 12 weeks of the season with 55 tackles, two passes defensed and two fumble recoveries in 11 games played. Fantasy managers in IDP setups will need to look elsewhere if they've been rolling with Warner in starting lineups.

Nahshon Wright Nov 30 12:40pm ET
    Nahshon Wright

Dallas Cowboys rookie cornerback Nahshon Wright has tested positive for COVID-19, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. As a result, Wright will not play on Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints in Week 13. The Cowboys now have eight players and coaches sidelined by the virus heading into this Thursday's game against the Saints. Wright and right tackle Terence Steele are the two players out. Wright has played sparingly on defense this year and has worked almost exclusively on special teams. The 23-year-old has just two solo tackles and has returned one punt in 10 games so far in his rookie season.

Amari Cooper Nov 30 12:30pm ET
    Amari Cooper

Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is back in the team's building but "still not feeling the best," according to head coach Mike McCarthy. Cooper tested positive for COVID-19 and has missed the last two games while being unvaccinated. He still has a cough, and it's "to be determined" if he'll practice on Tuesday. "My gut would be if he doesn't practice tomorrow, I don't see him going to the game," McCarthy said. An earlier report suggested that the Cowboys expected Cooper to return in Week 13, but this makes it sound a bit more up in the air. If the 27-year-old does return against the New Orleans Saints, he might not play his usual number of snaps and would be a risky fantasy option, especially with CeeDee Lamb (concussion) on track to return after he missed the Thanksgiving game.

    From RotoBaller

Trysten Hill Nov 30 12:30pm ET
    Trysten Hill

Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Trysten Hill received a two-game suspension on Monday for violations of unnecessary roughness and unsportsmanlike conduct rules following the Thanksgiving loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in overtime last Thursday. Hill punched Raiders guard John Simpson following last week's game. Hill is appealing the ruling, which would allow him to play this Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints. If the decision stands, he wouldn't be eligible to return until Dec. 19 on the road against the New York Giants.

    From RotoBaller

Ezekiel Elliott Nov 30 12:20pm ET
    Ezekiel Elliott

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team expects running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) to have a serious load against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night. Elliott has seen his workload decrease in recent weeks while battling through a nagging knee injury, and they said after the Thanksgiving game that they'd consider resting him for the stretch run. However, he was a full participant in practice and appears to have recovered nicely after last week's overtime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. In the last two games, Zeke has only 18 carries for 57 yards and one touchdown on the ground, adding 12 catches for 60 yards on 14 targets. Tony Pollard will still be involved, and Elliott will be more of a low-end RB2 against a Saints defense that has allowed the third-fewest rushing yards per game (91.9) in 2021.

Dalvin Cook Nov 30 12:10pm ET
    Dalvin Cook

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is expected to miss at least the next two games -- this Sunday at the Detroit Lions and the following Thursday against the Pittsburgh Steelers -- with the hope being that he can return the following week for the Monday night game at the Chicago Bears on Dec. 20, according to a source. Cook suffered a shoulder dislocation and torn left labrum in the Week 12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but he'll avoid Injured Reserve for now. Fantasy managers will be flocking to the waiver wire this week to snag Alexander Mattison, who will take over as the primary running back for the Vikings with Cook sidelined. And with excellent matchups against the winless Lions and Steelers the next two weeks, Mattison will have RB1 upside.

Donte Jackson Nov 30 12:00pm ET
    Donte Jackson

Carolina Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson (groin) has been placed on injured reserve. Jackson was hurt in Sunday's blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins, and an MRI revealed an injury significant enough to put him on the sidelines for the remainder of the season. After recording two interceptions this season, Jackson will have potentially played his last game with the Panthers as he is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Panthers will now be with Stephon Gilmore, A.J. Bouye, and C.J. Henderson as their top cornerbacks, while rookie Jaycee Horn continues to be held out action.

Amari Cooper Nov 30 11:13am ET
    Amari Cooper

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (COVID-19) is expected to return in Week 13, according to owner Jerry Jones. Cooper will ramp up his work Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Fantasy Spin: Cooper will be a high-end WR2 with some rust anticipated in Week 13.

    From TheHuddle

Amari Cooper Nov 30 11:00am ET
    Amari Cooper

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper (COVID-19) is expected to be available for Thursday night's game against the New Orleans Saints, according to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Cooper has missed the past two games against the Chiefs and Raiders after testing positive prior to Week 11, so the Cowboys get some much-needed help at the receiver position after losing back-to-back games. CeeDee Lamb (concussion) is on track to return, so Dak Prescott could potentially have his full arsenal of Cooper, Lamb, and Michael Gallup, which he has only had for one full game this season. Cooper should be able to offer solid WR2 value in his return to action, but fantasy managers should be cautious as there are a lot of mouths to feed in the Dallas offense.

    From RotoBaller

Joey Slye Nov 30 10:30am ET
    Joey Slye

Washington Football Team kicker Joey Slye (hamstring) will miss at least three weeks after suffering a hamstring injury after a botched extra-point attempt that went the other way for two points. Slye was able to convert his only field-goal attempt of the night before his departure from the game, which keeps his field goal percentage at 100% since he has joined Washington. Washington was forced to go for it on fourth down and two-point conversions without a reliable kicker, so they will now look for their fourth starting kicker of the season with Slye set to miss some action.

    From RotoBaller

Russell Wilson Nov 30 10:30am ET
    Russell Wilson

The Washington Football Defense was solid in Week 12 as they made life difficult for Russell Wilson and the Seattle offense. They gave up a couple of big plays to Tyler Lockett, but other than that were quite impressive. They recorded two sacks on Wilson, a fumble recovery, and constantly applied pressure to Seattle's struggling offensive line. Moving forward, they don't seem like a reliable option as they have meetings with some solid offenses in Las Vegas and Dallas on the horizon.

    From RotoBaller

Antonio Gibson Nov 30 10:20am ET
    Antonio Gibson

Washington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson handled a career-high 36 touches in Monday night's win over Seattle. Gibson ran 29 times for 111 yards and added seven receptions for an additional 35 yards while converting on a two-point rushing attempt. The sophomore's workload suggests that he is closer to full strength than he has been in the past, so it seems his fantasy value is on the rise as we inch closer to the fantasy playoffs. With J.D. McKissic suffering an injury late in the game, Gibson could see his usage in the passing game skyrocket after he caught a season-high seven passes. He has caught no more than three passes in a game this season, so any increase in usage as a receiver would put him back into low-end RB1 for the remainder of the season.

    From RotoBaller

    J.D. McKissic Nov 30 10:20am ET
    J.D. McKissic

Washington Football Team running back J.D. McKissic found the end zone twice in Monday's win over Seattle while totaling 56 yards from scrimmage on 12 touches. McKissic suffered what appeared to be a neck injury late in the game, so he will have an uncertain status moving forward. If he is to miss some time, Antonio Gibson will likely have an expanded role in the passing game, and rookie Jaret Patterson would carve out a larger role in the Washington offense. If McKissic is able to get away without missing any time, he will continue to be on the FLEX radar in PPR formats because of his consistent role in the offense as a pass-catcher and occasional ball-carrier.
