George Kittle Jan 29 7:30pm ET
    George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle caught three passes for 32 yards in the Niners' 7-31 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. The 29-year-old also took one carry for four yards. The Niners' passing game was impacted by injuries to both quarterbacks Brock Purdy (elbow) and Josh Johnson (concussion protocol). San Francisco only threw the ball 18 times all game, and Purdy only made two passes in the second half after Johnson left the game in the third quarter. Kittle will be one of the top tight ends taken in 2023 fantasy drafts.

Kadarius Toney Jan 29 7:30pm ET
    Kadarius Toney

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle) is questionable to return to the AFC Championship matchup with Cincinnati. Toney entered this contest with five catches for 36 yards, the most on the team this postseason. However, if he doesn't make it back on Sunday, he'll finish with one catch for nine yards. Of course, the Chiefs have plenty of options on the offensive end, so Patrick Mahomes won't be impacted.

Brandon Aiyuk Jan 29 7:10pm ET
    Brandon Aiyuk

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk caught just one pass for 10 yards on his only target of the NFC Championship Game, a 7-31 San Francisco loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. As the 49ers' primary deep threat, Aiyuk was hurt by the loss of quarterbacks Brock Purdy (elbow) and Josh Johnson (concussion protocol) to injuries. Purdy would come back in the third quarter, but he was unable to throw well and only attempted two passes, both for only a couple of yards. Aiyuk had his first 1,000-yard season of his career, so he could enter the 2023 fantasy season with momentum.

Deebo Samuel Jan 29 7:00pm ET
    Deebo Samuel

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught three passes for 33 yards in the Niners' 7-31 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. The 27-year-old also lost nine yards on six carries. The 49ers were desperately trying to get anything going after both their quarterbacks got injured. Samuel was used on more rushes than he has in any playoff game this year, but the Eagles were expecting runs. Only three of Samuel's runs went for gains. He also took a fourth quarter kickoff out of the end zone for a 37-yard return, his only kickoff return of the season.

Christian McCaffrey Jan 29 6:50pm ET
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey carried the ball 15 times for 84 yards and one touchdown in the Niners' 7-31 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. The 26-year-old added four catches for 22 yards and threw an incomplete pass on a trick play. McCaffrey was the focal point of the Niners' offense to an even greater degree than usual, as quarterbacks Brock Purdy and Josh Johnson both suffered injuries. The 49ers continued running the ball heavily even when they were down by three touchdowns because no quarterback was healthy enough to throw the ball. CMC will be an early first round pick in all league types next season.

Josh Johnson Jan 29 6:40pm ET
    Josh Johnson

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Josh Johnson completed 7-of-13 passes for 74 yards in the Niners' 7-31 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. Johnson came in to relieve Brock Purdy after the rookie left the game with an elbow injury. He faced heavy pressure from an elite Eagles defense and was sacked twice. On one hit in the third quarter, Johnson's head was slammed into the turf, which caused him to be removed and put in concussion protocol. Johnson has been a career backup since entering the league in 2009, and he will not be a relevant player in fantasy football.

    From RotoBaller

Brock Purdy Jan 29 6:30pm ET
    Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy completed four-of-four passes for 23 yards in the Niners' 7-31 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. The 23-year-old hurt his elbow while taking a hit that caused him to lose the football on his first drive and forced him to leave the game. He returned in the third quarter when No. 4 QB Josh Johnson was removed and checked for a possible concussion. After his return, Purdy, who was still clearly bothered by his injury, only threw two short passes on three drives. He completed both for four yards. It was impressive what the No. 262 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft was able to do as a rookie, but he did not look the same when he was facing pressure deep in the playoffs the past two weeks.

Mecole Hardman Jan 29 6:00pm ET
    Mecole Hardman

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (pelvis) is available for the AFC Championship against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 24-year-old hasn't played since Week 9. However, he had been on a roll before going down, scoring a touchdown in each of his previous three games. Although nearly all of the Chiefs wideouts are healthy, Hardman can get hot, so he warrants consideration as a flex option in DFS tournaments.

Josh Johnson Jan 29 5:50pm ET
    Josh Johnson

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Josh Johnson (head) won't return to Sunday's meeting with the Eagles. The signal-caller entered to take over for Brock Purdy (elbow), who was injured in the first half. However, Johnson took a nasty hit in the third quarter and left for a concussion evaluation. Nevertheless, his day is over, meaning Purdy is back in under center, although he's certainly limited.

    From RotoBaller

Travis Kelce Jan 29 5:40pm ET
    Travis Kelce

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (back) will play on Sunday against the Bengals. The veteran had been listed as questionable because of back spasms. However, he's good to go, meaning Patrick Mahomes will have his favorite target for the AFC Championship. Despite the risk of re-injury, Kelce is a must-start in DFS formats.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Johnson Jan 29 5:20pm ET
    Josh Johnson

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Josh Johnson (head) exited the NFC Championship versus the Philadelphia Eagles. The 36-year-old entered the contest in the first half after Brock Purdy (elbow) injured the elbow on his throwing arm. However, after Johnson took a nasty hit in the third quarter, he left for a concussion evaluation. Fantasy managers should consider him questionable to return. But if Johnson doesn't make it back, he'll finish with 74 yards off 7-for-13 passing. In the meantime, Purdy is back in under center. Yet, he's not 100%, meaning Christian McCaffrey may serve as the emergency quarterback.

    From RotoBaller

Brock Purdy Jan 29 5:10pm ET
    Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (elbow) returned to Sunday's NFC Championship matchup against the Eagles. The signal-caller exited in the first half after injuring the elbow on his throwing arm. He remained on the sidelines where he would have likely stayed. However, with No. 4 quarterback Josh Johnson (head) exiting for a concussion evaluation, Purdy is back on the field. Nevertheless, he's not 100%, so fantasy managers should temper their expectations.

Josh Johnson Jan 29 3:40pm ET
    Josh Johnson

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (right elbow) exited Sunday's NFC Championship game in the first quarter and is officially questionable to return. Backup Josh Johnson has entered in his place. Purdy went 2-for-2 with 19 passing yards and one lost fumble before departing the contest.

Justin Herbert Jan 29 3:30pm ET
    Justin Herbert

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (shoulder) underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder on Wednesday, according to an announcement from the team. They expect him to be cleared in time for their offseason program. Herbert finished 2022 with 4,749 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He should be viewed as a mid-to-low QB1 heading into next season's fantasy drafts. In the meantime, look for Herbert and the Chargers to begin negotiating the first contract extension of his career.

    From RotoBaller

Travis Kelce Jan 29 3:20pm ET
    Travis Kelce

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (back) experienced some tightness this morning and will be a game-time decision, according to James Palmer of NFL Network. Kelce's status had improved on Saturday to a point where it looked like he would suit up versus Cincinnati, but Sunday's setback suddenly ignites some concern about his availability. The Chiefs are still optimistic that he can suit up, but they want to see him run and warm up before making an official decision. Individuals invested in Kelce from a DFS or gambling perspective should check back for confirmation on his status around 5 p.m. EST.

Elijah Mitchell Jan 29 1:50pm ET
    Elijah Mitchell

San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (groin) is officially inactive for the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. It comes as a surprise after it was reported earlier on Sunday that Mitchell was expected to play despite being listed as questionable for the contest. With the 24-year-old now sidelined for the big game, expect lead back Christian McCaffrey to see a big workload in the backfield, with wide receiver Deebo Samuel also heavily involved. Rookie Tyrion Davis-Price is a healthy scratch for this game, so expect rookie Jordan Mason to serve as McCaffrey's backup. Mason didn't see any work in last week's win over the Dallas Cowboys, but he saw two carries for 12 yards in the wild-card win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Frank Reich Jan 29 1:40pm ET
    Frank Reich

The Indianapolis Colts will interview Green Bay Packers special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia for a second time on Monday for their head-coaching job, according to sources. Bisaccia is the fifth known candidate to receive a second in-person interview with the Colts, joining Jeff Saturday, Ejiro Evero, Raheem Morris and Don Martindale. Indy is also interested in Eric Bieniemy, Shane Steichen and Brian Callahan. The 62-year-old Bisaccia is widely respected around the league and took the Raiders to the playoffs last year as the interim head coach. The Colts fired Frank Reich in the middle of the 2022 season and replaced him with the inexperienced Saturday, who went 1-7 down the stretch of an extremely disappointing season.

    Frank Reich

The Indianapolis Colts are planning to have a second interview with Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen next week, according to sources. Steichen is on the team's short list of candidates that will get further consideration for their head-coaching position. He has served as the Eagles' offensive coordinator for the last two years and has become a hot coaching candidate this cycle because of Philly's offensive success in 2022, ranking No. 3 in total offense, No. 5 in rushing offense, third in first downs, third in points per game and fourth in third-down conversions. The 37-year-old Steichen also interviewed with the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans, but the Panthers hired Frank Reich as their next head coach this week.

Jalen Hurts Jan 29 1:20pm ET
    Jalen Hurts

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is eligible for a massive contract extension this offseason. Since he wasn't a first-rounder, Hurts doesn't have a fifth-year option on his rookie deal. He's scheduled to make $4 million in 2023 on the final year of his rookie deal, but the Eagles and Hurts' representatives are expected to get together this offseason to see if they can work out what will no doubt be a huge extension. If not for a right shoulder injury that cost him a few games late in the regular season, the 24-year-old would have almost certainly been the overall QB1 in fantasy points in 2022. The MVP front-runner took a huge step in his third NFL season with a career-high 66.5% completion percentage, 3,701 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions in 15 games. He also added 760 rushing yards and 13 TDs on 165 carries.

Jimmy Garoppolo Jan 29 12:50pm ET
    Jimmy Garoppolo

The New York Jets will be upgrading at the quarterback position in 2023. The hire of Nathaniel Hackett as the new offensive coordinator fueled speculation about a potential trade for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Jets will surely look into Rodgers and they will also look closely at San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo and Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr, according to sources. They won't limit their search to just those three QBs, but it's where they will start. Of the three, Garoppolo is the only one that will be a free agent in March, but he has plenty of injury concerns. The Raiders will have to cut Carr if they can't agree to trade him before $40.4 million in guarantees kick in early next month. Trading for Rodgers would require sending the Packers at least two first-round picks.
