Darrell Henderson Feb 3 1:13pm ET
    Darrell Henderson

Dynasty | According to The Athletic, the belief is that the Rams would like to "build off" what Cam Akers was able to accomplish late in the 2022 season Dynasty Analysis: It's music to the ears of dynasty coaches rostering Akers. Following a tumultuous year in which the back appeared to be on the way out, he returned to the team, the Rams summarily released Darrell Henderson, and Akers performed as most fantasy players expected he would to start the season. The 23-year-old runner scored six touchdowns over his final six games and finished the season with three 100-yard performances, while also chipping in with six receptions. Listed as DLF's RB31, it's obvious dynasty coaches remain stung by the mid-season drama, but enterprising coaches who took advantage of plummeting risk-on opportunity may be rewarded with a young upside runner who could turn in RB1 production in 2023. The fact remains that Sean McVay remains one of the NFL's most mercurial coaches and when it comes to running backs, any back in the team's room is risk-on.

Aaron Rodgers Feb 3 1:13pm ET
    Aaron Rodgers

Dynasty | Aaron Rodgers is still in play for the Raiders Dynasty Analysis: The story reads more as possibility than probability while connecting the dots should Rodgers choose to depart Green Bay. The belief is the Raiders, instead, will select a rookie thrower in the first two rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft to be groomed behind a short-term veteran starter. The cost to acquire Rodgers, now 39, will be sky high and the team may wish to simply do a full reboot at the position. Rodgers, DLF's QB14 has yet to indicate whether he plans on staying, going or retiring.

Frank Reich Feb 3 12:50pm ET
    Frank Reich

New York Giants defensive coordinator Don "Wink" Martindale is considered a a front-runner for the Indianapolis Colts' head-coaching job, according to a source. The Colts are considering a rare third round of interviews with a select few finalist following an extensive second round of interviews that includes nine candidates. The Colts fired Frank Reich in the middle of the 2022 season, and interim head coach Jeff Saturday remains in play for the full-time job despite going 1-7 down the stretch. If the Giants lose Martindale, they could take a look at Lou Anarumo, Steve Wilks, Sean Desai or Jerome Henderson for their defensive coordinator position.

Brett Maher Feb 3 12:40pm ET
    Brett Maher

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said earlier this week that the team will be starting over at kicker in 2023, meaning they will move on from kicker Brett Maher. The 33-year-old will become a free agent next month, but the Cowboys won't be re-signing him after he famously missed six of his final seven extra-point attempts in the team's final three games. It was a tough way to close out his season after he made 29 of his 32 field-goal tries during the regular season, which was timed for third in the NFL. Maher should get another shot with another team in 2023, but it won't guarantee that he'll be fantasy relevant like he was with the Cowboys before he got the yips to close out the year.

Demarcus Robinson Feb 3 12:30pm ET
    Demarcus Robinson

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Demarcus Robinson (hernia) underwent sports-hernia surgery earlier this week, he announced on his official Instagram page. Robinson will become an unrestricted free agent next month, but the injury shouldn't limit him much, if at all, for offseason workouts. The 28-year-old was needed to step up for the Ravens in 2022 due to a season-ending injury to No. 1 receiver Rashod Bateman (foot). In 17 regular season games for Baltimore, Robinson recorded a career-high 48 receptions on a career-high 75 targets for 458 yards and two touchdowns. He became fantasy relevant for managers hurting at the receiver position, but Robinson will be more of a long shot for more playing time in 2023, depending on where he lands in free agency.

Mike Gesicki Feb 3 12:30pm ET
    Mike Gesicki

Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki is headed for unrestricted free agency in March and is expected to sign elsewhere. From the moment the Dolphins hired Mike McDaniel as head coach, Gesicki's fit in the offense was questioned. Playing on the $10.9 million franchise tag in 2023, he finished with his fewest snaps, receptions (32) and receiving yards (362) since his rookie season. The 28-year-old's fantasy stock obviously took a huge hit this past season, but with a change of scenery and a better fit in a new offense, he could easily become attractive again to fantasy managers if he finds himself in the right situation. Under McDaniel, Miami's two-tight end usage rate dropped precipitously from the 2021 season.

Davis Mills Feb 3 12:20pm ET
    Davis Mills

New Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans was non-committal on a plan at quarterback during his introductory press conference, but he did say that the team plans to add to the position this offseason. Davis Mills was benched for two games in 2022 and replaced by Kyle Allen before regaining the starting role to close out the year. But Mills regressed in his second NFL season, completing 61% of his passes for 3,118 yards, 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. Houston will have salary cap space and the second and 12th overall picks in the first round, so they could take a signal-caller early in the draft. Mills is currently the only QB under contract with Allen and Jeff Driskel set to be free agents in March. Depending on what the team does at the position, Mills could be headed for backup duties in 2023.

Derek Carr Feb 3 12:13pm ET
    Derek Carr

Dynasty | Derek Carr would be guaranteed his $40.4M salary if he remains on the Raiders roster on Feb. 15th. Dynasty Analysis: Carr has said he's not willing to extend that deadline and his contract also possesses a no trade clause. The Raiders essentially sealed their fate after benching Carr late in the season and now it appears they will simply have to release the veteran. While a trade is still possible, the team has yet to allow Carr's camp to speak with potential suitors. Soon to be a free agent, he'll be arguably the top name on the quarterback market and free to choose his own landing spot. Listed as DLF's QB19 and still only 31 years of age, there's every chance Derek Carr finds success with his next team.

Davis Mills Feb 3 12:13pm ET
    Davis Mills

Dynasty | Davis Mills will have competition for the starting role as new head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed the team will be adding to the quarterback room this offseason Dynasty Analysis: It would be news if the team did anything other than draft a new face of the franchise with their second-overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft. Mills just couldn't pilot the team to any level of success and, while he did an admirable job as a third-round selection in 2021, he's destined to be a backup in Houston unless a team comes calling during the draft. Found as an extremely sparsely ranked QB41 on DLF, Mills' best chance at being under-center again will likely come in 2025 as a free agent.

Mecole Hardman Feb 3 12:10pm ET
    Mecole Hardman

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (pelvis) wants to play in the Super Bowl next Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles and is gathering second opinions on his core injury, but as of now he's doubtful to play. "I doubt he'll make the Super Bowl," head coach Andy Reid said. Hardman made his return in the AFC Championship win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but he played just 15 offensive snaps before aggravating an injury that had kept him out since Week 9. It's unlikely that we'll see him in the big game on Feb. 12. And with JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle, hamstring) also banged up, it could mean more work for Marquez Valdes-Scantling, rookie Skyy Moore and Justin Watson in the Super Bowl.

Derek Carr Feb 3 12:10pm ET
    Derek Carr

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr said on Thursday that he has no intention of extending the Feb. 15 trigger date on his contract to give the Raiders additional time to resolve his situation. On Feb. 15, more than $40 million in guarantees kick in for Carr, increasing the likelihood that he'll be released instead of traded. The Raiders have yet to authorize Carr and his agent to speak to potential trade partners. Carr has a no-trade clause in his contract and said he would use it if necessary. The Raiders benched the 31-year-old for the final two games of the 2022 season and Carr has already said his goodbyes on social media to the fan base. Plenty of teams will be searching for a veteran QB this offseason, so he should be in high demand if he becomes a free agent on Feb. 15.

Derek Carr Feb 2 9:50pm ET
    Derek Carr

Las Vegas Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler expects several offers for quarterback Derek Carr in the months ahead. "There's going to be people interested," stated Ziegler while speaking to SiriusXM NFL Radio. "He's been a good football player in this league for quite some time." Whether Carr has been a quality signal-caller is debatable, especially after amassing 3,522 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions last season while completing just 60.8% of his throws. Nevertheless, his days in Vegas are unofficially over, at least as of now. However, Carr may benefit from a change of scenery, so his fantasy outlook hinges on where he'll be playing throughout the 2023-24 campaign.

Aaron Rodgers Feb 2 9:40pm ET
    Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers ruled out San Francisco as a potential landing spot. "I'm not going to San Fran," Rodgers stated while speaking at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and it comes after the signal-caller finished the year with 3,695 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, a decline from the previous season. It's unknown what the future holds for the 39-year-old, although it's possible he could remain in Green Bay or call it quits altogether. Several teams are also interested in acquiring his services, so it will surely be an intriguing offseason in the months ahead.

Joe Mixon Feb 2 9:20pm ET
    Joe Mixon

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon will have his aggravated menacing charge dropped on Friday morning. Mixon's attorney, Peter Schafer, stated, "it was a rush to judgment," although it's unknown why the charges are being dropped. The former Sooner allegedly pointed a gun at another person on January 21. While Mixon won't face criminal charges, a civil suit, among other things, is still a possibility, so he isn't out of the woods just yet. The 26-year-old ran for 814 yards off 210 carries while amassing 60 catches for 441 yards. He also totaled nine touchdowns, seven few than the 2021-22 campaign. There will likely be more on this story, so it's too early to tell how this will impact Mixon's fantasy stock.

Dennis Allen Feb 2 7:30pm ET
    Dennis Allen

The New Orleans Saints interviewed former Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator Joe Woods for their open defensive coordinator position on Thursday, according to sources. Woods was on head coach Dennis Allen's staff with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2014. The Saints will have big changes to their defensive staff in 2023 after co-defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen took the defensive coordinator job with the Atlanta Falcons and the team parted ways with co-defensive coordinator Kris Richard. Woods was the Browns' D coordinator the last three years but was fired after 2022. Cleveland ranked 14th in yards allowed and 20th in points allowed.

Dak Prescott Feb 2 7:20pm ET
    Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier interviewed for the Baltimore Ravens' open offensive coordinator position on Wednesday, according to multiple sources. In his three years as Dallas' QBs coach, Dak Prescott set a team record for touchdown passes in a season (37), and he had five different starters, including Cooper Rush, who went 4-1 with Prescott injured in 2022. Along with offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, the Cowboys parted ways with Nussmeier after the season. He was the team's tight ends coach for two seasons before moving to QB coach. Nussmeier has also run offenses at the collegiate level at Florida, Michigan, Alabama, Washington and Fresno State. The Ravens parted ways with offensive coordinator Greg Roman after the 2022 campaign.

Dennis Allen Feb 2 7:20pm ET
    Dennis Allen

The New Orleans Saints have parted ways with co-defensive coordinator/secondary coach Kris Richard, according to sources. The Saints' other co-defensive coordinator, Ryan Nielsen, recently left the team to take the defensive coordinator job with the division-rival Atlanta Falcons, so New Orleans will have big changes to their defensive coaching staff in 2023. Richard had interviews for the defensive coordinator role with the Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins. Neither Nielsen nor Richard called the defensive plays in 2022, as head coach Dennis Allen took care of that. With the departures of both Nielsen and Richard, the Saints will not only be looking for a new defensive coordinator, but new defensive line and secondary coaches.

Joe Mixon Feb 2 7:10pm ET
    Joe Mixon

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is wanted on aggravated menacing charges. The 26-year-old is accused of pointing a gun at a woman in downtown Cincinnati. He allegedly threatened to shoot her. This is an extremely serious situation that could cost Mixon his job. The superstar back has already been in trouble before when he punched a woman in college. There should be more information on this story as it develops.

Marcus Mariota Feb 2 6:40pm ET
    Marcus Mariota

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota (knee) is unlikely to be with the organization next season. The 29-year-old left the team after getting benched and underwent surgery on his knee. The Falcons would save $12 million by cutting Mariota before June 1st. That being said, it seems increasingly likely the Falcons will move on from Mariota. The rebuilding Falcons will likely find another veteran to stick behind youngster Desmond Ridder. As for Mariota, he should be able to catch on as a backup elsewhere, but it's hard to believe he'll find a starting job to begin the 2023 season.

    From RotoBaller

Joshua Kelley Feb 2 6:30pm ET
    Joshua Kelley

Los Angeles Chargers running back Joshua Kelley could see himself with a bigger role heading into next season. New offensive coordinator Kellen Moore mentioned he saw Kelley start to develop a role in 2022. He continued by saying he is hopefully to get two or three guys in the backfield they can rely on. It sounds like Kelley is the leading candidate for the backup duties behind Austin Ekeler. Possibly, Moore gets Kelley more involved on the ground, while Ekeler becomes mainly the receiving back. It remains to be seen what the Chargers do, but Kelley could be worth holding onto in dynasty formats right now.
