2019 RTSports Outlook

The return of Andrew Luck was a huge plus for Hilton last year, leading to his fifth 1,000-yard season. Hilton was 14th overall in fantasy receiver scoring despite missing two games. He had five 100-yard games. The big knock on Hilton continues to be a lack of scores, having six touchdowns last year. His career high in touchdowns is seven. Hilton has 1,000-yard seasons five of his last six. Hilton is the No. 1 receiver in the Colts pass-first offense. Hilton is a small receiver that lacks some strength and size, but makes up for that with plus hands and big-play ability. Hilton is an explosive player with big-play ability whenever he touches the ball. Fantasy Outlook: His lack of scores holds him back from being an elite fantasy receiver but he is just outside that group. You could still take him as a low-end No. 1 and get good production from him. He will get his catches and yards in this offense. Expect around 85 receptions for 1,300 yards and eight touchdowns.

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton registered six catches for 74 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets in Week 7 against the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Spin: Hilton was outshined by Zach Pascal, who had six grabs, 106 yards and two scores, but the two co-existed in this one and did nice things for their fantasy owners. It's a tougher matchup in Week 8 against the Denver Broncos, but Hilton remains a must-start in most fantasy formats.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 6:33pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 18, but is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: Hilton has caught four touchdowns in four games and appears to have good chemistry with Jacoby Brissett. He is a must-start option in all leagues this week against the Houston Texans.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 5:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell (abdominal), DL Tyquan Lewis (ankle) and CB Kenny Moore II (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 7 versus the Houston Texans. S Malik Hooker (knee) was upgraded to a full practice Friday, Oct. 18, but is listed as doubtful. CB Pierre Desir (hamstring) and DE Justin Houston (calf) remained out of practice and are listed as questionable. OG Quenton Nelson (hip) was added to the injury report Friday and is also listed as questionable. S Clayton Geathers (rest), DL Denico Autry (rest), OT Anthony Castonzo (rest), WR T.Y. Hilton (rest) and DE Jabaal Sheard (rest) did not practice Friday but have been removed from the injury report. LB Zaire Franklin (hamstring) and TE Eric Ebron (illness) logged a full practice Friday and also no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 9:53pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton faces the Houston Texans in Week 7, and Hilton had 18 catches for 399 yards in three games against the Texans last year, and he has 80 catches for 1,505 and nine touchdowns in 15 career meetings.

Fantasy Spin: Four touchdowns in four games this season have softened the blow of pedestrian yardage totals, but he's still the top receiver in the Indianapolis attack. Throw in his history of shredding Houston's secondary, and Hilton needs to be starting in all formats this weekend.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 11:20am ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) is off of the injury report and he needs to be in your lineups for Week 7. Despite not playing with quarterback Andrew Luck, Hilton is proving that he is a must-start every week. He's scored four touchdowns in the four games that he has played, and he gets a juicy matchup against the 24th ranked passing defense of the Houston Texans. Additionally, this game is at home for Indianapolis, which will give the offense less of a struggle with crowd noise. In his eight-year career, he's had just one season in which he didn't put up at least one 100-yard game against Houston.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 3:03am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton managed four catches on five targets for only 37 yards in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Spin: There was a bit of doubt as to whether or not Hilton was going to be able to play through a quad injury. So while that may have played a bit of a role into his lack of production, he also didn't look like he was completely healthy either. It ended up not making much of a difference, however, as the running game and defense carried the day. The team's Week 6 bye comes at a good time for Hilton, who will return from a week off to torment his personal punching bag - the Houston Texans.

From TheHuddle

Oct 7 12:00am ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was expected to have a big game in Week 5. The Kansas City Chiefs couldn't stop the run, and Hilton saw a reduced volume as a result. On the night, he saw five targets. He caught four of them for 37 yards. Hilton has been the Colts' leading receiver all season, but he was held in check on Sunday night. Moving forward, he's still a consistent WR2 on a regular basis.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 7:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) is officially active for the team's Week 5 game.

Fantasy Spin: Hilton may receive a lot of targets this week if it becomes a high scoring game. He should be at least a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 8:23am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) is expected to play in Week 5's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Hilton was listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in two of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. When healthy, he should be viewed as a must-start option in all fantasy formats but there is a slight risk to starting him this week because the Colts don't play until Sunday night.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 4:20am ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quad) is expected to play on Sunday night against the Chiefs. The veteran has been dealing with the injury for quite some time, and before missing the Week 4 contest against the Raiders, Hilton exited prematurely in Week 3 after scoring a touchdown against the Falcons. With the Chiefs Defense struggling in 2019, the 29-year-old should be considered a must-start in all formats.

From RotoBaller

Oct 4 6:03pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 4, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: Hilton was limited the last two days and could be a game-time decision for Week 5. He is a must-start fantasy option when he is healthy, but fantasy players should have other options available in case he is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Oct 3 9:00pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quad) is dealing with an injury heading into the team's Week 5 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. If he is able to start on Sunday night, he has to be in fantasy lineups. He's far and away the favorite target of quarterback Jacoby Brissett, and the Chiefs have still not shown the ability to slow down opposing passing attacks. In just three games played, Hilton is averaging a stat line of 6.6 catches, 65 yards and 1.3 touchdowns per game. In PPR, that's over 18 points per game. If Hilton plays, you're starting him.

From RotoBaller

Oct 3 8:13pm ET

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 3.

Fantasy Spin: Hilton appears to have a chance to play in Week 5, but fantasy players will need to monitor the situation. Hilton should be a starting option if he plays against the Kansas City Chiefs.

From TheHuddle

Oct 3 4:23pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell (abdominal), S Clayton Geathers (concussion), S Malik Hooker (knee), DL Tyquan Lewis (ankle), RB Marlon Mack (ankle) and DE Jabaal Sheard (rest) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 3. WR T.Y. Hilton (quad), LB Darius Leonard (concussion) and CB Rock Ya-Sin (hip) were limited.

From TheHuddle

Oct 3 2:30pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) was back on the practice field on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. It gives his fantasy owners hope that he can play on Sunday night against the Chiefs after missing Week 4. Still, Hilton will likely be questionable this week and will be a tough call for starting lineups this weekend with the game coming on Sunday night. Unless he's a lock to play, Hilton is hard to recommend against Kansas City. If he sits out another game, some combination of Parris Campbell, Deon Cain and Zach Pascal will attempt to pick up the slack. Expect the Colts to lean more heavily on tight ends Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle, too.

From RotoBaller

Oct 3 2:23pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) was participating in practice Thursday, Oct. 3

Fantasy Spin: This is what we need to see after Hilton missed Week 4 and practice Wednesday. See if he keeps trending the right way over the next few days toward a WR2 start against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5.

From TheHuddle

Oct 2 12:53pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Fantasy Spin: Hilton would have a decent matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs if he's able to go. Hilton would be a solid WR2 if he's without limitations.

From TheHuddle

Oct 2 12:50pm ET

Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich said that wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) will not practice on Wednesday. Linebacker Darius Leonard (concussion), who has missed the last two games, will practice on a limited basis. Hilton sat out in Week 4 and with the team's bye coming in Week 6, it's possible the Colts give Hilton three weeks to rest up. That wouldn't be ideal for quarterback Jacoby Brissett against the high-octane offense of the Chiefs this Sunday night, though. Until Hilton returns to practice, you shouldn't put him back in your lineups. If he misses another game, Indy will continue to lean on tight ends Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle and a combination of receivers Parris Campbell, Deon Cain and Zach Pascal. Getting Leonard back would be a huge boost for the Colts interior defense, but their overall unit needs to be avoided on the road against the most explosive offense in the league.

From RotoBaller

Sep 29 11:53am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) is not active for Week 4's game against the Oakland Raiders.

From TheHuddle

Sep 29 11:50am ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) and linebacker Darius Leonard (concussion) are both inactive in Week 4 against the Raiders. Safety Malik Hooker (knee) is also inactive, which makes the Colts Defense/special teams much less attractive in fantasy despite the good matchup against Oakland. They are a low-end starting option without Leonard and Hooker available. With Hilton sidelined, rookie Parris Campbell and Deon Cain should be the team's top two receivers, but the Colts could also use a run-heavy game script. Campbell would be the more attractive flex in deeper leagues. Tight ends Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle also figure to be more involved.
