Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Laquon Treadwell signed a one-year contract with the Falcons worth $910,000.
Free-agent WR Laquon Treadwell (Vikings) officially signed with the Atlanta Falcons Wednesday, March 25. Official terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Free-agent WR Laquon Treadwell (Vikings) has agreed to terms with the Atlanta Falcons Sunday, March 22, according to a league source.
Fantasy Spin: The former first-round pick has been a colossal bust, and the change of scenery isn't likely to to much to change that narrative. Fantasy owners can continue to ignore Treadwell.
The Atlanta Falcons are planning to sign wide receiver Laquon Treadwell to an undisclosed deal on Sunday, according to a source. The 24-year-old was a first-round pick of the Vikings (23rd overall) in 2016 but disappointed with 65 catches for 701 yards and two touchdowns in 53 games (16 starts) over four seasons with the team. Treadwell will strictly be depth in Atlanta behind Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage, so he's unlikely to have any fantasy appeal to begin the 2020 season in his new home. Expect him to compete for a spot on the final roster during training camp and the preseason.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is inactive for Sunday's Wild Card contest against the New Orleans Saints. Treadwell would've been a very risky hail-mary type option in daily fantasy formats as it was, but the Vikings are rolling with just four receivers today in Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Olabisi Johnson, and Alexander Hollins. Pivoting any Treadwell shares to Hollins or another cheap option would be the right move at this point.
The Minnesota Vikings have declared WR Laquon Treadwell, DE Hercules Mata'afa, CB Mackensie Alexander, OT Aviante Collins, OL Olisaemeka Udoh, OG Dru Samia and DE Eddie Yarbrough inactive for Wild Card Weekend.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Laquon Treadwell will likely see extended playing time again this week in the absence of top wideout Adam Thielen (hamstring). Treadwell caught one of his two targets for a wide-open 58-yard score last week, but he should not be considered as a starting option in Week 14. The fourth-year wideout has seen one or zero targets in five of his seven games played - that fact alone should have you looking elsewhere for desperation streaming options. He'll compete with Olabisi Johnson, Kyle Rudolph, and Dalvin Cook for (likely) limited targets behind Stefon Diggs this week. If you must have a backup receiver from this game, look to Johnson with his higher snap count and target-share.
Minnesota Vikings WR Laquon Treadwell had a 58-yard touchdown on his only catch of the Week 13 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Spin: Treadwell has just seven total catches for 142 yards and one score across six appearances. The TD was his first since Week 2 at Green Bay in 2018. No fantasy value here.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Laquon Treadwell hauled in a 58-yard touchdown in a 37-30 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13. Treadwell found himself wide open on the play and easily waltzed in for the second touchdown of his career. He only saw two targets in the game and receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) is expected to be back in Week 14, so leave the former first-rounder on waiver wires.
