Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin announced on Sunday that he is retiring from the NFL after 10 years. Maclin was drafted in the first round in 2009 and spent six seasons with the Eagles alongside DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy. He is the 10th leading receiver in Philly franchise history after compiling 343 catches, 4,771 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns. Maclin spent the last three years struggling with the Chiefs and Ravens.
Free-agent WR Jeremy Maclin (Ravens) announced his retirement Sunday, March 24.
Free-agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (gluteus, hamstring) is undergoing surgery on his hamstring/gluteus that has kept him from working out for interested teams and he won't play at all this season. He expects to be ready for 2019. Maclin played in 12 games for the Ravens last year, catching 40 passes (72 targets) for 440 yards and three touchdowns. He hasn't played a full season since his final year in Philadelphia in 2014 and will likely find it hard to find a job in 2019.
Free-agent WR Jeremy Maclin (glute, hamstring) is scheduled to undergo a procedure on his glute and hamstring area in the near future and will not play this season. He expects to play next season.
