2019 RTSports Outlook

Graham didn't have quite the first season as expected with the Packers. He had a few big showings but was pretty mediocre most weeks. He was 12th overall in fantasy tight end scoring, but had 55 receptions for 636 yards and two touchdowns. His season was similar to the past few years, not showing quite as well as he did with the Saints earlier in his career. Graham is what he is at this stage of his career. He is not likely to see a big improvement over the past few seasons. Graham is a pretty complete package at tight end. He is a big target with top speed and the ability to make the tough catch. Graham is a top athlete that looked more like an elite receiver earlier in his career than tight end.

FANTASY OUTLOOK:   Graham was setup for a bounce-back season last year and didn't take advantage. Expect more of the same this year. He might get around 60 catches for 600 yards and five or so touchdowns. He is a low-end No. 1 tight end and maybe even a spot starter.

RotoBaller's Outlook

Aaron Rodgers just hasnt seemed to gel with a tight end since Jermichael Finley. The likes of Jared Cook, Martellus Bennett, and now Jimmy Graham have been brought to the Frozen Tundra of Green Bay in order to give Rodgers a weapon in the middle of the field and in the red zone. Last year, it didnt quite pan out as the Packers had hoped as Graham caught 55 passes on 89 targets for 636 yards and only 2 TDs. Currently, Graham is being drafted in the 13th round. With the addition of first-year head coach Matt LaFleur, the Green Bay offense should have a new look but this isnt necessarily good news for Graham. The Titans, whom LaFleur was the offensive coordinator for last year, finished 25th in the league in TE targets. Delanie Walkers injury and their slow pace of play surely contributed to this, though. When LaFleur was with the Rams in 2017 under head coach Sean McVay, the Rams ranked 27th in TE targets. All of this in addition to Graham having to learn a new offense for the second straight year. He is a phenomenal talent though and continues to be insanely athletic. He could have a chance to thrive in 2019 with a more efficient offense but he will need more red zone targets as he only recorded five receptions on 11 targets for three TDs.

Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham had a decent day that could have been even better. The 32-year-old caught two of four targets for 59 yards but had a touchdown catch overturned. It was nice to see Graham eclipse 50 receiving yards for the first time since Week 7, though 48 of his yards came on one catch. The veteran tight end has become a touchdown-or-bust option in fantasy. He'll get a bye in Week 11 before taking on the best pass defense in the NFL, the San Francisco 49ers.

From RotoBaller

Nov 11 3:13am ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham had two receptions for 59 yards against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Fantasy Spin: Graham only had four targets but was on the receiving end of the game's longest play with a 48-yard grab. He also had a touchdown taken off the board on a replay review when he failed to get his second foot down. He's definitely a fringe fantasy options these days, but his size and steady involvement in the red zone give him a better chance to generate value than similar players.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 6:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (non-injury) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 8, but is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: Graham was one of several players to struggle last week, but he has been held to 20 yards or less in three of the last four games. He could be a bye week replacement in some leagues but is not a must-start option this week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 4:43pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Robert Tonyan (hip) did not practice Friday, Nov. 8, and is listed as doubtful for Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers. S Adrian Amos was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, while CB Jaire Alexander (groin) was added to the injury report Friday following a limited practice; both players are listed as questionable. WR Davante Adams (toe) and OT Bryan Bulaga (rest) were limited in practice all week but do not appear on the injury report. TE Jimmy Graham (rest) and CB Tramon Williams (rest) were limited for a second straight day Friday but also does not appear on the injury report. TE Marcedes Lewis (rest) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday and has also been cleared to play. LB Oren Burks (chest), DL Kenny Clark (shin), RB Aaron Jones (shoulder), CB Kevin King (groin), WR Jake Kumerow (shoulder), LB Blake Martinez (hand), S Will Redmond (elbow), QB Aaron Rodgers (knee), LB Preston Smith (hand) and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 12:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham (veteran's rest) will face a tough Carolina Panthers pass defense in Week 10. The Panthers rank ninth against the pass and have only surrendered two touchdowns to tight ends in eight games. Graham has exceeded 50 receiving yards in just two of nine games and has gone without a catch in two games this year. The 32-year-old will need to find the end zone to justify starting him. Standing 6-foot-7 certainly helps the cause, though Graham is just a risky TE2 this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 7 5:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (non-injury) was upgraded to a limited participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Fantasy Spin: Graham returned to the starting lineup for each of the last two games, but he failed to find the end zone in each outing. He is a low-floor TE2.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 6:33pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Fantasy Spin: Graham is on a bit of a cold streak with 20 yards or less in three of the last four games. He has received 18 targets over the last four games and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues this week despite his recent struggles.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 6:30pm ET

Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham (veteran rest) did not practice on Wednesday. It's a smart move by the Packers, as the 32-year-old was limited early on last week. He'll have two days to get in a limited or full practice session before game day. He's not a recommended start against the Carolina Panthers, who rank sixth in fantasy points allowed to tight ends.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 4:20pm ET

Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham caught all four of his targets for 17 yards in his team's Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Graham was one of several underperformers on the Packers' offense, as he recorded a season-low 4.5 yards per catch. The 32-year-old has failed to eclipse 50 receiving yards in seven of nine games this year and has just three touchdowns. Graham is a touchdown-dependent TE2 at this point with a tough matchup upcoming. The Carolina Panthers rank seventh in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to tight ends.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 1:00pm ET

Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham gets a tough matchup on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 32-year-old has 21 catches for 234 yards and three touchdowns on the season and has been a touchdown-or-bust fantasy option so far. Expect that trend to continue against the Chargers, who rank 11th in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to tight ends. However, don't be ashamed to start Graham, given how frightening fantasy tight ends have been this year. He's a risky play, but the 6'7" Graham has as good a chance as anybody to haul in a red-zone score, especially with quarterback Aaron Rodgers heating up.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 4:33pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 1, but is not on the injury report for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Graham has been playing better over the last month of the season but has been limited to 20 yards or less in two of the last three games. He should still see some targets in the passing game and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 6:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) remained limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Spin: Graham has been battling multiple injuries all year, but he hasn't missed a game. He remains touchdown dependent with low yardage totals, but he's still a viable weekly option in a shallow position group.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 8:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Fantasy Spin: Graham has been on the injury list for several weeks but should be ready to play in Week 9. He has been targeted 14 times over the last three weeks but has been held to 20 yards or less in two of those games. He could still be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues but is not a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 12:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham continued his inconsistent form this season in the victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Graham ended the game with three receptions for just 20 yards, which was below the level expected for the veteran. Graham has struggled to have a consistent level of involvement in the Packers offense, with 234 yards and three touchdowns being his season total. With the Packers missing Davante Adams, there was an expectation that Graham would be a reliable target for Aaron Rodgers, but this game was focused on the running backs being involved in the passing game. Coming into Week 9, that is unlikely to change, with the team likely to rely on the work that Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams can do on the ground. The Chargers have been an effective unit against tight ends this season, liming Graham's upside.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 2:23am ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham had three receptions (on five targets) for 20 yards in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Spin: After putting up some pretty decent numbers in three of his last four games, Graham was quiet on Sunday night. As long as No. 12 is back there, though, Graham offers some borderline TE1 value.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 8:33pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 25, but is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Graham has been playing well over the last few weeks and is receive more targets in the passing game. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 tight end in most leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 5:03pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) and TE Robert Tonyan (hip) did not practice Friday, Oct. 25, and are listed as doubtful for Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs. S Darnell Savage (ankle) and C Corey Linsley (back) were limited in practice Friday and are listed as questionable. OT Bryan Bulaga (rest), TE Jimmy Graham (ankle), TE Marcedes Lewis (rest), S Will Redmond (ankle) and CB Tramon Williams (knee) were also limited Friday but were removed from the injury report. S Adrian Amos (shoulder), CB Tony Brown (hamstring), LB Oren Burks (chest), DL Kenny Clark (shin), LB B.J. Goodson (shoulder), WR Allen Lazard (back), LB Blake Martinez (wrist), QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) were full participants in practice Friday and also no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 9:50pm ET

Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham is a borderline starting tight end against Kansas City this week. Graham has been wildly inconsistent this season but enjoyed one of his best games of the year last week against the Oakland Raiders. The Kansas City Chiefs have given up an average of 7.1 points to the position and crucially only one touchdown all season. While that would typically push Graham out of being considered for fantasy lineups, the injuries that have hit the Packers receiving options means he could still be considered as a starting tight end this week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 24 7:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 24.

Fantasy Spin: Graham has been more involved in the passing game over the last few weeks and should receive some targets against the Kansas City Chiefs. He can be a low-end No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 23 7:53pm ET
