The New Orleans Saints Defense will face off with Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14. The Saints are coming off an excellent Thanksgiving night performance where they recorded nine sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble. New Orleans may have trouble repeating this effort against the 49ers, considering they've allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing defenses. San Francisco also ranks 12th in adjusted sack rate and have given up the 10th-fewest sacks in the league. There are better options out there than New Orleans this week.

The New Orleans Saints Defense balled out on Thanksgiving night in a victory over the Atlanta Falcons. New Orleans posted nine sacks, two interceptions, a fumble recovery, and a blocked punt. The highlight of the night came on Shy Tuttle's interception. The 300-pound defensive lineman stiff-armed quarterback Matt Ryan into the ground as he was giving chase. Cameron Jordan led the way for the Saints, with four more sacks, giving him 13.5 this year. New Orleans will look for a repeat performance against Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14.

New Orleans Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) is expected to return Thursday, Nov. 28, against the Atlanta Falcons.

From TheHuddle

Nov 27 7:00pm ET

The New Orleans Saints Defense will have a solid chance to put up fantasy points on Thanksgiving against the Atlanta Falcons. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is coming off a one-interception, six-sack game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There is certainly some risk, especially in leagues that penalize for points scored. Still, look for New Orleans to ramp up the pressure on Ryan, giving them a chance at multiple sacks and a turnover or two.

Nov 27 4:40pm ET

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is questionable for Thursday's game against the Falcons. Offensive tackles Andrus Peat (forearm) and Terron Armstead (ankle) have been ruled out. Lattimore has been out since the last meeting with Atlanta on Nov. 10, but it looks like he's making progress towards a return for Thanksgiving. His presence in the secondary would be a downgrade for either Julio Jones (questionable) or Calvin Ridley.

New Orleans Saints LB Demario Davis finished with 11 tackles, including nine solo stops, a sack and a pass defensed in a 34-31 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 8:10pm ET

The New Orleans Saints Defense picked up four sacks in a 34-31 win over the Carolina Panthers. New Orleans couldn't generate any turnovers against a more-accurate Kyle Allen and allowed 31 points, which certainly hurt their fantasy numbers in some leagues. Still, they've proven to be a defense that can create sacks and turnovers in bunches. They'll next play on Thanksgiving night against Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons, who rank in the bottom-10 in interceptions thrown.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 10:30am ET

The New Orleans Saints Defense is likely to be without one of its best players again on Sunday, with Marshon Lattimore (hamstring)) not likely to play. With Lattimore out against the Buccaneers, Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston threw for 313 yards, though Sunday's opponent, the Carolina Panthers, don't have a quarterback who's equipped to take advantage of Lattimore's absence. Still, this might increase Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore's ceiling a little, assuming he's who Lattimore would have been matched up with.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 8:33am ET

New Orleans Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) is unlikely to play in Week 12's game versus the Carolina Panthers, according to a source. He had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in just one of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. However, Lattimore has a chance to return to action for Week 13's game against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, Nov. 28.
