San Francisco 49ers impending free-agent WR Emmanuel Sanders said he hasn't thought much about next season yet but enjoyed his time with the team in 2019. 'I love the Niners organization, so we're going to see what's to happen,' Sanders said.

Fantasy Spin: Sanders had a a couple of big performances after joining the 49ers, but he was held below 50 yards in seven of his 10 games with the team, recording 25 yards or less five times. If he does return, he would be a matchup-based flex option in San Francisco's run-heavy attack.

Feb 3 12:40pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders caught three of five targets for 38 yards in the Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Sanders made his typical occasional chain-moving impact throughout the game, but nearly missed playing the hero. With the game on the line in the closing minutes, Sanders had the Chiefs secondary beat for a long potential touchdown but quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo airmailed him. Sanders concludes a solid tenth season in the NFL with 869 receiving yards and five touchdowns playing for both the Niners and Denver Broncos. As an unrestricted free agent, hell surely get an opportunity in his 33-year-old season and will likely be on the WR3 radar depending on his team environment entering fantasy drafts.

Feb 2 10:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo completed 20 of his 31 passes for 219 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in a 31-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV Sunday, Feb. 2. RB Raheem Mostert rushed 12 times for 58 yards and a touchdown and caught one pass for two yards, and RB Tevin Coleman rushed five times for 28 yards and caught one pass for three yards. WR Deebo Samuel caught five passes for 39 yards and rushed three times for 53 yards, WR Emmanuel Sanders caught three of his five targets for 38 yards, and TE George Kittle hauled in four passes for 36 yards. FB Kyle Juszczyk caught three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. SS Jimmie Ward notched a game-high 11 tackles, DE Nick Bosa recorded a sack, and DL DeForest Buckner logged 1.5 sacks.

Jan 20 10:40pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders failed to record a catch in the NFC Championship blowout win against the Green Bay Packers. With quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo attempting just eight passes, Sanders saw only a single target. The clear third option in a low-volume passing game behind standout rookie wideout Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle, Sanders has just two catches in the playoffs. Hell likely be tasked with more work in the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jan 19 10:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo completed six of his eight passes for 77 yards in a 37-20 win over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 19. RB Raheem Mostert rushed 29 times for 220 yards and four touchdowns and caught two passes for six yards, and RB Tevin Coleman rushed six times for 21 yards. WR Deebo Samuel caught two passes for 46 yards and rushed twice for 43 yards, TE George Kittle caught his only target for 19 yards, and WR Emmanuel Sanders was held without a catch on one target. DE Joey Bosa and DL Arik Armstead both recorded a sack.

Jan 11 8:20pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders cradled his two targets for 33 yards in the Divisional Round against the Minnesota Vikings. Sanders presence was felt to open the game with a couple chain-moving grabs, but he and the entire passing attack took a backseat to the dominant run game in the 27-10 victory. With a tighter matchup on the horizon, Sanders will be a volatile WR2 in the NFC Championship game.

Jan 11 7:53pm ET

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo went 11-for-19 for 131 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Minnesota Vikings in the Divisional Round playoff game. RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. RB Raheem Mostert rushed for 58 yards on 12 carries, while RB Matt Breida rushed for 17 yards on eight carries. WR Deebo Samuel caught three passes for 42 yards on six targets. WR Kendrick Bourne caught three passes for 40 yards and one touchdown on five targets. WR Emmanuel Sanders caught two passes for 33 yards on two targets, while TE George Kittle caught three passes for 16 yards on five targets.

Jan 9 5:30pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders heads into the Divisional Round against the Minnesota Vikings as a volatile WR4. In his first playoff action since 2015, the 32-year-old veteran is coming off a four-game stretch where he amassed anywhere between nine and 157 receiving yards. Hell also draw a challenging matchup against the Vikings seventh-ranked pass defense by DVOA. While his outcomes have varied greatly, Sanders has played nearly every snap since joining San Francisco, giving him a palatable floor. Although rookie teammate Deebo Samuel has shown more consistency and upside, Sanders could pay dividends as a contrarian play in DFS leagues on Saturday with a handful of big plays.

From RotoBaller

Jan 3 7:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (personal) was excused from practice Friday, Jan. 3.

Fantasy Spin: Sanders has posted at least 60 yards in two of the last four games and will see a handful of targets in the Divisional Round playoff game. He can be a starting option in fantasy leagues next week.

From TheHuddle

Dec 30 12:20pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders collected 25 yards on three catches in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks. Sanders was involved early with a few looks but took a backseat to George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and the run game as the game progressed. Coming off an Achilles tear in 2018, Sanders rebounded with an impressive 66 grabs for 869 yards and five touchdowns playing for both the Niners and Denver Broncos this season. However, he ended the year on a volatile streak, finishing anywhere between nine and 157 yards in his final six contests. Sanders will continue operating as the Niners primary wideout, giving him WR4 value in two weeks in the Divisional playoff round.

From RotoBaller

Dec 30 12:53am ET

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo completed 18 of 22 passes for 285 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions during the team's Week 17 win over the Seattle Seahawks. RB Raheem Mostert carried the ball 10 times for 57 yards and two touchdowns. WR Deebo Samuel caught five passes for 102 yards; he also ran twice for 33 yards and a score. TE George Kittle had seven receptions for 86 yards and added a seven-yard run. WR Emmanuel Sanders posted three catches for 25 yards. RB Matt Breida had four carries for 16 yards while RB Tevin Coleman gained 11 yards on five rushing attempts.

From TheHuddle

Dec 27 2:50pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is an upside WR4 in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks. The 32-year old veteran has been solid since joining the Niners in mid-October, scoring four times and playing nearly every snap, but hes also posted a few clunkers with four contests under 30 yards. Sanders will draw a middling Seahawks pass defense ranked 14th by DVOA in a critical matchup for playoff seeding. Sanders still has the attractive chain-moving and big-play combination, but with star tight end George Kittle gobbling targets and the emergence of wideout Deebo Samuel, opportunities could be limited as the third option.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 3:40am ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders caught three of his six targets for 61 yards during the win over the Rams on Saturday. This was another disappointing performance from the veteran, who had just two receptions for a miserable nine yards against Atlanta in his previous outing coming into this one. Jimmy Garoppolo did struggle as he was smothered by a Rams Defense that recorded six sacks and two picks, so it wasn't good news overall for those fantasy managers who were hoping for more. He will look to get on track to close out the regular season in Seattle, with Sanders recording only 24 yards off of two receptions against the Seahawks back in Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 12:13am ET

San Francisco 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders caught three of his six targets for 61 yards in a 34-31 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16.

Fantasy Spin: Sanders has had a couple of big outings for the 49ers, but he has only topped 50 receiving yards in a three of his nine games with the team. He's a matchup-based WR3.

From TheHuddle

Dec 16 1:33am ET

San Francisco 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders hauled in two of his four targets for nine yards in Week 15 versus the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Spin: Sanders has been all over the board in eight games with the 49ers, finishing with four catches and 41 or fewer yards receiving six times and seven receptions for at least 112 yards in the other two. Such is life on a run-oriented offense whose primary pass-catcher is tight end George Kittle. Sanders profiles to be a risky WR3 in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams.

From TheHuddle

Dec 15 8:50pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was held to just two catches for nine yards on four targets in Week 15 against the Falcons. Sanders was coming off of a remarkable 157-yard performance against the Saints in Week 14, so it was surprising to see him struggle to make his mark against a very generous Falcons pass defense. Fellow wide receiver Deebo Samuel only had one catch in this game and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo only threw for 200 yards, so it was a rough day for the 49ers offense as a whole. Sanders will look to bounce back against the Rams in Week 16.

From RotoBaller

Dec 12 6:00pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders played his best game in over a month last Sunday and is a WR3 in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons. After being limited with a rib injury, Sanders looked healthy en route to 157 receiving yards and two touchdowns (one passing) in Week 14. Against a Falcons Defense ranked 26th in pass DVOA, Sanders is well-positioned to capitalize as the Niners top receiver. Even with rookie wideout Deebo Samuel ascending as a big-play talent, Sanders veteran savviness and ability to move the chains make his floor palatable in any fantasy format.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 8:43pm ET

San Francisco 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders caught seven passes for 157 yards and a touchdown on nine targets at the New Orleans Saints in Week 14 on Sunday, Dec. 8. He also threw for a 35-yard touchdown pass.

Fantasy Spin: Sanders has not missed a beat -- in fact has become more dangerous -- since joining the Niners, and he's a must-start option vs. the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15. Don't get to caught up in the idea of trick passes and possible rushing attempts, as Sanders' nine targets alone should be the draw.

From TheHuddle

Dec 8 6:50pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders recorded 157 yards and a touchdown on seven catches in Week 14 against the New Orleans Saints. He also threw a 35-yard touchdown pass. After battling a rib injury the past few weeks, Sanders looked fully healthy in Sundays shootout, leading the team in catches, targets and yards. His touchdown came on a 75-yard bomb in the second quarter when he smartly got up from the turf and raced to the house. His passing score came later in the quarter on a nifty trick play to running back Raheem Mostert. With the Niners clicking offensively, Sanders fantasy value appears supported despite the emergence of wideout Deebo Samuel and Mostert. Hell carry WR3 value in Week 15 against a weak Atlanta Falcons secondary.

From RotoBaller

Dec 6 4:53pm ET

San Francisco 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Sanders had one of his better games as a member of the 49ers last week but has posted at least 50 yards in only one of the six games he has played for San Francisco. He should be a flex option in some leagues but can be benched if fantasy players have better options.
