Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald has shown up to almost every voluntary workout so far during his 16th NFL offseason. 'I am hoping he enjoys the process and enjoys what the offense turns into and gives him a reason to stick around a few more years,' head coach Kliff Kingsbury said. 'But he practices and he plays like he's trying to make the team, and that's the biggest compliment I can give him. He doesn't need it, and you'd think he's starving out there. It's impressive to watch.'

Fantasy Spin: Fitzgerald is learning a new offense, and he is working with rookie Kyler Murray trying to develop a rapport. The veteran remains a freak of nature who refuses to allow Father Time to catch up to him. He had 69 grabs for 734 yards and six touchdowns in 2018, but the lower production was more due to a poor offense than anything on him. He remains a decent WR3/4 or flex fantasy option heading into 2019.

May 20 10:13pm ET

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson and WR Larry Fitzgerald were not present during practice Monday, May 20.

Fantasy Spin: Both Johnson and Fitzgerald could participate in practice later this offseason and should be on the field for mandatory minicamp. Johnson will be a No. 1 running back in fantasy leagues this upcoming season, while Fitzgerald could be a No. 3 receiver.

May 18 9:53pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald could reach 100 catches because of all the 'quick-rhythm throws' in head coach Kliff Kingsbury's offense, in the opinion of Bucky Brooks of

Fantasy Spin: Fitzgerald is coming off a down year, but with Kyler Murray under center and a pass-happy offense being installed, he could see an uptick in his numbers. While 100 catches may be a little optimistic, Fitzgerald is Arizona's most dependable receiver. It wouldn't be a shock to see him finish as a solid WR3.

Mar 7 1:13am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald didn't want to wrap up his career after a poor 2018 season. 'We had a really bad season last year and I just didn't want to go out on that level,' Fitzgerald said on a podcast via the team's official website. 'You've got to live the rest of your life knowing you went out on that level.'

Fantasy Spin: Fitzgerald showed he still has plenty left in the tank, posting 69 grabs for 734 yards and six touchdowns in his 15th NFL season. However, his yardage total did mark a career low. He is more of a WR4 or WR5 in most fantasy leagues heading into 2019.

Jan 24 8:33am ET

Updating previous reports, Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald's one-year deal is worth nearly $16 million. He'll have an $11 million base salary and received a $4.85 million signing bonus.

Fantasy Spin: Fitz took a step back in fantasy last season, albeit the quarterback issues had something to do with it. That may not change in 2019, and he's a PPR WR3 target with minimal upside.

Jan 23 3:43pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald needs 23 receptions to reach 1,326 receptions and pass former NFL TE Tony Gonzalez for second place on the all-time receptions list. Former NFL WR Jerry Rice tops the list at 1,549 catches. For a loftier goal, Fitzgerald needs 13 touchdowns to reach 129 career receiving touchdowns and pass former NFL WR Marvin Harrison for fifth on the all-time receiving touchdowns list.

Fantasy Spin: After Fitz finishes his 2019 campaign, he'll go down as one of the greatest wide receivers in the history of the game. His 2018 season left something to be desired, but he has scored at least six touchdowns in each of the last four seasons. With a new offensive minded head coach and another offseason under Josh Rosen's belt, Fitz possesses PPR WR2 value.

Jan 23 12:10pm ET

The Arizona Cardinals signed veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald to a one-year deal on Wednesday so that he can return for a 16th season. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Fitzgerald will turn 36 at the end of August but will remain the No. 1 wideout on the team because of his experience. His numbers took a hit in one of the worst offenses in the NFL in 2018, but he still led the team in receptions (69), receiving yards (734) and touchdowns (six). While Fitz can still make an impact on the field, he'll be returning to his third head coach in three years, but the addition of Kliff Kingsbury could improve the offense moving forward. We won't say for sure that Fitzgerald will return to the 1,000-yard mark, but he should be a serviceable WR3 at the very least.

From RotoBaller

Jan 23 9:43am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald announced Wednesday, Jan. 23, that he'll return for the 2019 season.

Fantasy Spin: Fitz had a 69-734-6 season, which was well below the 100-catch, 1,000-yard seasons the three years previously. The rookie quarterback was part of the problem, but he doesn't have much more upside next season. He's still a PPR asset, but he'll be a mid-round option as a WR3.

Jan 23 9:43am ET

Updating an earlier report, Arizona Cardinals impending free-agent WR Larry Fitzgerald re-signed with the Cardinals on a one-year deal. Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Jan 12 12:43pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald said he has not decided if he will play next season. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he would like Fitzgerald to return, but Kingsbury's hiring has not swayed Fitzgerald in either direction.

Fantasy Spin: Fitzgerald failed to post at least 1,000 yards for the first time in four seasons but still posted solid numbers in 2018. He likely would continue to be a main option in the passing game if he plays next season and can be a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Dec 31 3:13am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught four of his nine targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 versus the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Spin: There is a chance Fitzgerald was playing the final game of his distinguished career, although he still has plenty left to give physically. Whether or not he wants to return for another year of the Cardinals' rebuilding project is another story. Fitzgerald ends his 15th season with 69 catches, 734 yards and six touchdowns. If he calls it a career, he'll do so ranked inside the top three all-time in career receptions (1,303) and receiving yards (16,279) with an invite to the Hall of Fame coming five years down the road.

Dec 28 6:53pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Fantasy Spin: Fitzgerald has been targeted 26 times over the last three games and appears to have a solid chemistry with Josh Rosen. He can be considered a flex option in some leagues this week.

Dec 27 8:13pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Fantasy Spin: Fitzgerald has been targeted at least six times in each of the last four games and has recorded over 50 yards in each of the last three games. He can be considered a flex option in some deeper leagues but can also be benched if owners have better options.

Dec 27 1:43pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) returned to practice Thursday, Dec. 27, after receiving a veteran's rest day on Wednesday.

Fantasy Spin: Fitz has been heavily involved in the Cards' passing attack of late, drawing 26 targets over the last three games and converting those into 18 receptions for 190 yards while also throwing a 32-yard TD pass. Expect that usage to continue Sunday in what could be his final NFL game.

Dec 26 9:53pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Fantasy Spin: It's typical protocol for the future Hall-of-Fame wide-out. He'll continue serving as a serviceable WR3 in leagues that are still going on into Week 17. Fitzgerald has drawn at least eight targets in each of the last three games -- and may see more than that if this is indeed his final NFL game.
