Player Notes

Plagued by injuries and inconsistent play all year, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson has been a fantasy non-entity through nine weeks, totaling only 58 yards receiving in five games. However, with the recent news that Miami's leading receiver Preston Williams will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, Wilson should see increased snaps, if only by the virtue of attrition. Wilson will still have to prove his worth before fantasy owners should trust him with a start, which could prove difficult in Week 10 against an Indianapolis Colts team that's allowing the 14th-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Keep Wilson on your bench until he gives you further notice with his usage and play.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 5:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson may see a bigger role with Preston Williams out of the lineup but should still be avoided in fantasy leagues at this point.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 2:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins CB Ken Webster (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts. S Reshad Jones (chest) was limited in practice all week and has also been ruled out. DT Davon Godchaux (shoulder), C Daniel Kilgore (knee) and DE Avery Moss (ankle) were also limited in practice all week but are listed as questionable. OG Evan Boehm (hip) returned to a full practice Friday, Nov. 8, and is also listed as questionable. S Walt Aikens (hip), OL Jesse Davis (elbow), QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (shoulder), LB Trent Harris (foot), CB Chris Lammons (ankle, toe), S Bobby McCain (shoulder), LS Taybor Pepper (shoulder), CB Ken Webster (ankle), DT Christian Wilkins (toe) and WR Albert Wilson (hip) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 3:43pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (hip) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has not been a big factor in the passing game in 2019 but may see more targets with Preston Williams out for the season. Fantasy players probably can find better options for their lineups this week but could keep an eye on Wilson's production over the next few games.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 4:13pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (hip) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson may receive a bigger role in the passing game with Preston Williams out for the season. He has posted only 10 catches and 58 yards in five games this season and can be avoided until he is more productive.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 7:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (ankle, hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 1, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson caught his first touchdown of the season in Week 8 but finished the game with only five yards receiving. He can be avoided in all leagues until he posts more consistent numbers.

Oct 31 3:43pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (ankle, hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson caught his first touchdown of the season last week but still has posted only two catches and 27 yards over the last two games. Fantasy players in all leagues should be able to find better options and can avoid Wilson.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 3:13pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (ankle/hip) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson found the end zone for the first time this season against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night. It was his lone catch of the night and it was for just five yards. His floor is zero fantasy points, and he shouldn't be in any lineups.

From TheHuddle

Oct 29 12:33am ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson posted one catch for just five yards in Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, Oct. 28, but that was good for a touchdown.

Fantasy Spin: Despite the score, he and Allen Hurns (who also scored) are fighting for crumbs behind DeVante Parker, Preston Williams and Jakeem Grant on a team which ranks near the bottom in passing offense. He should only be on fantasy rosters in the absolute deepest of fantasy leagues heading into Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 12:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson (hip/calf) has been a limited participant in practice this week, after returning to action in a 17-16 Week 6 loss to the Washington Redskins. After missing virtually the entire season due to injury, Wilson caught 5-of-6 targets against the Redskins but only totaled 15 yards. While he has been limited leading up to a matchup on the road against the Buffalo Bills in Week 7, Wilson is still expected to be the Dolphins starting slot receiver. Unfortunately, it will come against a Buffalo Bills Defense that is allowing the fewest points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2019. Whether he's fully healthy or not, Wilson belongs on the waiver wire with the rest of his teammates.

From RotoBaller

Oct 17 6:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (calf, hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson could have more success with Ryan Fitzpatrick but should be avoided in fantasy leagues because of the tough matchup.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 3:13pm ET

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 4:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (calf, hip) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson was held to only 15 yards in his return to the lineup last week but was targeted six times during the game. He will he facing a tough Buffalo Bills defense and can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 14 1:40pm ET

Having not played since suffering a calf injury in a Week 1 loss to the Ravens, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson returned to action in a 17-16 loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday, finishing with five receptions on six targets. Wilson's six targets tied him with Preston Williams for the most among Miami wide receivers, which should be a good sign for his usage going forward. Unfortunately, that ends the good news of his stat line, as Wilson's five catches were good for a total of only 15 yards, with eight of those coming on one play. Until Miami's offense becomes something less than terrible and until Wilson starts using his elite speed to get looks down the field, "Fast" Albert needs to stay parked on the waiver wire. Hey-hey-hey.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 5:13pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson pulled down five receptions for 15 yards on six targets in Week 6 against the Washington Redskins.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson had frequent receptions, but the yardage total was obviously poor. He has the potential to be a decent low-end PPR option if he can stay healthy. The Dolphins travel to meet the Bills in Week 7.
