Player Notes
Nov 24 7:00pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley completed just 12 of 26 passes for 192 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Steelers Sunday. Finley didn't throw an interception but did fumble twice as the rookie continues to struggle with ball security. The rookie signal-caller doesn't have fantasy value outside of 2QB leagues, but does have a good matchup next week against a banged-up Jets secondary giving him some appeal in DFS tournaments.

Nov 23 5:40am ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley has a tough matchup against a Steelers Defense that has played well recently. The rookie has struggled in his first two starts in the league, throwing two interceptions and only one touchdown to go along with a miserable 47.5 completion percentage. Finley will have to limit his turnovers, including fumbles, if fantasy managers are to have any shot at getting something out of the 24-year-old on Sunday. If you have him in your fantasy lineup for some reason, don't expect much, especially with the team down a few guys on the offensive end. Anticipate Finley's involvement to be minimized as much as possible, leaving Joe Mixon to do most of the work on the ground in Week 12.

Nov 17 8:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley completed just 13-of-31 passes for 115 yards and an interception in Week 11 against the Raiders. He also lost a fumble and was sacked five times. He managed to rush for 47 yards in the game, which helps make his day look a little better, but it was still a rough day all around to put it nicely. The Bengals' offense is in a tough spot right now and they have an even tougher matchup lined up against the Steelers in Week 12.

Nov 16 9:10am ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley didn't have a memorable debut against the Ravens in Week 10, finishing with just 167 yards and a touchdown to go along with two costly turnovers that resulted in defensive touchdowns. While the rookie has plenty of options at his disposal on the offensive end, Joe Mixon, who had a season-high 30 attempts against Baltimore, will likely gobble up most of the play calls against Oakland. As a result, Finley shouldn't be starting in any format on Sunday, especially against a Raiders Defense that has played well as of late.

Nov 10 5:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley went 16-for-30 passing for 167 yards and a touchdown (two turnovers) during the blowout loss to Baltimore on Sunday. The 24-year-old connected with Tyler Eifert late in the second quarter for his only touchdown toss of the day, but turnovers would overshadow his debut, with the Ravens Defense scoring twice off of costly errors by the rookie. The line held up, allowing just two sacks, but Finley didn't play much better than Andy Dalton, who he replaced during the team's Week 9 bye. Things should get a little easier for Finley in Week 11, however, as the Bengals head west for a meeting with the Raiders.

Nov 9 1:40am ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley will make his first career start against the Ravens on Sunday. The rookie handled himself relatively well during the preseason, compiling a 73.4 completion percentage to go along with three touchdowns and a pick in three appearances. Though the upside is there, fantasy managers should expect the worst and hope for the best in Week 10, especially with the team's struggles in 2019.

Aug 23 6:10am ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley went 14-for-20 for 155 yards during Thursday's loss to the New York Giants. While the rookie didn't find the end zone in this one, he has been solid the entire preseason, compiling 414 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception on 47-for-64 passing. Though he is likely locked into the team's backup spot behind veteran quarterback Andy Dalton to start the season, he could move into a starting role at some point if Dalton is unable to adjust to coach Zac Taylor's offensive playbook. Keep an eye on this situation, especially in 14-team leagues and up.

Aug 16 1:50am ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley had a solid night during Thursday's win over the Washington Redskins, finishing by going 20-for-26 for 150 yards and two scores. While the rookie looked exceptional by completing his first nine passes, veteran quarterback Andy Dalton had an interception in just three series of work. Finley continues to receive praise from first-year head coach Zac Taylor, but he will surely start the season off of the bench, with his only mission this preseason being to unseat Jeff Driskel for the right to be declared the No. 2 option on the team's depth chart.

Aug 5 6:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley is improving after an unimpressive spring that was followed by an even more uneventful camp thus far. However, the rookie had his best practice to date on Sunday, connecting on two red-zone touchdown passes. Though he is still likely losing the battle to Jeff Driskel for the right to be the teams backup quarterback, it is a step in the right direction, even if he has a long way to go before he dethrones Andy Dalton as the starter in Cincy.
