Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft made some noise in Week 8 when he out-snapped fellow tight end Dawson Knox 36 to 28 and caught two of his four targets for 32 yards while Knox went catch-less. Last week, however, Knox heavily out-snapped Kroft, 47 to 16, and Kroft went without a catch in the game as Knox managed two receptions. The situation is a bit messy overall and the Bills passing offense isn't strong enough that it warrants watching the situation closely. Kroft can be left on waivers in all leagues.

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft stole some of the shine off of rookie tight end Dawson Knox in Week 8 when Knox was shut out in the game and Kroft caught two of his four targets for 32 yards. In all likelihood, this situation is going to be messy going forward. The veteran Kroft is probably the more likely of the two tight ends to receive a higher target share, but it might be close to a 60/40 type of split. The Bills have a great matchup against the Redskins in Week 9, so there will be plenty of opportunities for Bills pass-catchers, but it's hard to know which one, or which ones, will stand out apart from wide receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley. Kroft is a dart throw at best in the deepest of leagues, but should be avoided if other options are out there.

Oct 27 6:50pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft finally saw some activity in the passing game in Week 8. He made his Bills debut in Week 7, but didn't see a single target in the game. This week, Kroft earned four targets and caught two of them for 32 yards. He was third on the team in receiving after John Brown and Cole Beasley. Fellow tight end Dawson Knox received only one target and didn't have a catch in the game. Avoid this tight end situation for fantasy at all costs for now. Hopefully one of them will stick out as a viable fantasy option in the coming weeks.

Oct 18 4:13pm ET

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: It appears like Kroft will make his season debut in Week 7 and could see some targets during the game. He could be a bye week replacement in deeper leagues or a low-end No. 1 tight end in some other leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 3:20pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (ankle) practiced in full all week and was left off the final injury report for Week 7 against the Dolphins. Kroft is set to make his season debut this Sunday. The matchup is a great one against the winless Dolphins, but fantasy owners can't expect much of Kroft right away, and he could split snaps with rookie Dawson Knox. Kroft is off the fantasy radar for now, even for those desperate at the position. His return is undoubtedly bad news for Knox owners, though.

Oct 18 3:03pm ET

Buffalo Bills LB Matt Milano (hamstring) and LB Corey Thompson (ankle) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins. CB Taron Johnson (hamstring) was a full participant in practice all week and is also listed as questionable. LB Lorenzo Alexander (rest), QB Josh Allen (hand), WR John Brown (groin), OT Cody Ford (concussion), WR Robert Foster (groin), TE Tyler Kroft (ankle), C Mitch Morse (ankle), DE Trent Murphy (concussion), OT Ty Nsekhe (rest), RB Devin Singletary (hamstring) and RB Frank Gore (rest) participated fully in practice Friday, Oct. 18, and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 4:23pm ET

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Kroft has not played yet this season, so the Bills may decide to ease him into the passing game. He could still be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues because the team is playing the Miami Dolphins in Week 7.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 3:53pm ET

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Kroft has missed every game this season because of various injuries but appears to have a chance to play in Week 7. He is a risky option since his role in the passing game is uncertain but could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues because of the matchup.

Oct 2 12:20pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (ankle) is progressing but has no timetable for a return, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Kroft was close to returning in Week 3 but suffered an ankle injury in practice. He has yet to make his season debut and is well off the fantasy radar right now. Rookie Dawson Knox has emerged in the last couple of weeks at the position, but he's nothing more than a low-end, touchdown-dependent TE2, especially if quarterback Matt Barkley has to start this week against the Titans with Josh Allen (concussion) injured.

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (ankle, foot) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 20, and has been ruled out for Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: Kroft was making progress from his foot injury but is now dealing with an ankle injury. Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney will continue to receive playing time at tight end, but neither player has fantasy value.

From TheHuddle

Sep 20 1:10pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (ankle), who injured his ankle in practice on Thursday, will not play in Week 3 against the Bengals. However, a source said his low ankle sprain gives him a chance to make his season debut in Week 4. With rookies Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney splitting work at tight end for Buffalo, neither player is intriguing in season-long leagues at a weak tight end position in fantasy. Even when Kroft makes his season debut, he'll be nothing more than a desperation low-end TE2 play, although he could have streaming value later in the season.

From RotoBaller

Sep 19 3:50pm ET

Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft (ankle) left practice on Thursday after suffering an ankle injury. The severity of the injury is unknown, but this is obviously bad news for a player who was on the verge of making his season debut against his old team, the Bengals. Even had Kroft played in Week 3, though, he would've been a poor choice as a low-end TE2. Check back on his status on Friday. If he misses another game, rookies Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney will once again split the workload. Neither player is an option in redraft leagues.
