Player Notes
Dec 4 2:13pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 4, and has been ruled out for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller will be the main options in the passing game this week, but Javon Wims caught five passes for 56 yards last week with Gabriel sidelined. Fantasy players in most leagues should be able to find better options for their lineups and can avoid Wims.

From TheHuddle

Dec 3 7:23pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) missed a second straight practice Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Fantasy Spin: Gabriel missed the Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions. We last saw him in Week 12 against the New York Giants when he caught just one of three targets for 19 yards. He's a risky flex option in deeper leagues when active, but his absence makes WR Anthony Miller more intriguing in all formats.

From TheHuddle

Dec 3 5:33pm ET

Chicago Bears CB Prince Amukamara (hamstring), TE Ben Braunecker (concussion), WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion), OT Bobby Massie (ankle) and LB Danny Trevathan (elbow) did not practice for a second straight day on Tuesday, Dec. 3. DT Bilal Nichols (knee) was limited.

From TheHuddle

Dec 3 4:20pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel (concussion) has not passed protocol and still is unable to practice on Tuesday. This is the veteran receiver's second concussion this season and his availability for Thursday's game against the Cowboys is in serious doubt. At this point, it is safe to say that Gabriel can be dropped in all formats and the chances of him returning this season are getting slimmer by the day. Receiver Anthony Miller will continue to see a boost in value with Gabriel sidelined.

From RotoBaller

Dec 2 5:23pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) did not participate in practice Monday, Dec. 2.

Fantasy Spin: Gabriel only has a few more days to be cleared, so it appears like he will miss another game because of the concussion. Fantasy players in all leagues should look for other options to use and keep Gabriel on the bench.

From TheHuddle

Dec 2 1:13pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) has yet to be cleared from the league's concussion protocol as of Monday, Dec. 2.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 11:33am ET

The Chicago Bears have declared DL Abdullah Anderson, TE Adam Shaheen, CB Sherrick McManis, LB Danny Trevathan, TE Ben Braunecker, WR Taylor Gabriel and OT Bobby Massie inactive for Week 13.

From TheHuddle

Nov 27 2:23pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 27, and has been ruled out for Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller will be the main options in the passing game for Bears this week with Gabriel sidelined. Robinson should be a starting option in all leagues, while Miller could be a flex option in some leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 26 8:13pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) missed another practice Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Fantasy Spin: Typically by this point of the concussion protocol, a player would at least be getting in limited practices if they stood a chance of playing. If Gabriel can't go, WR Anthony Miller will be worth a look in a decent matchup against the Detroit Lions.

From TheHuddle

Nov 26 4:20pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel will take on a Lions Defense that is allowing the 12th most fantasy points to receivers this season. Gabriel has been a mixed bag offensively this season but caught a touchdown against the Lions two weeks ago. The Lions have allowed 13 different receivers to post 10-plus fantasy points against them this season, making Gabriel an intriguing WR5 option. The veteran's value, however, will best be utilized in DFS tournaments heading into Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Nov 26 4:03pm ET

Chicago Bears TE Ben Braunecker (concussion), WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion), OT Bobby Massie (ankle), DB Sherrick McManis (groin), TE Adam Shaheen (foot) and LB Danny Trevathan (elbow) were all held out of practice for a second straight day Tuesday, Nov. 26.

From TheHuddle

Nov 25 7:23pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) did not practice in practice Monday, Nov. 25.

Fantasy Spin: Gabriel only has a few days to be cleared by the doctors, so fantasy players should not expect him to play this week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 8:13pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel finished with one grab for 19 yards on just three targets in Week 12 against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Spin: Gabriel's production has been rather inconsistent. He is worth a look in deeper PPR fantasy leagues and as a flier in DFS against a leaky Detroit Lions pass defense in the early game on Thanksgiving, though, but he has been boom or bust all season when healthy.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 5:20pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel caught only one pass for 19 yards in the Bears 19-14 win over the Giants. Gabriel saw only three targets in the game and a two-point conversion reception was negated by penalty. The veteran receiver is a hit-or-miss fantasy option on one of the worst offenses in the NFL. He did, however, catch a touchdown against the Lions in Week 10, the team the Bears will square off against on Thanksgiving to kick off Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 4:20pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel could have an opportunity to make some plays against a porous Giants secondary in Week 12. The Bears offense is in shambles but will take on a Giants Defense that is allowing the second most fantasy points to receivers this season. Gabriel has only 334 receiving yards this season but is averaging 54.7 receiving yards a game over his last four played. He should have a chance to post a solid fantasy line in Week 12 as the Giants defense has allowed 17 different receivers this season to post more than 10 fantasy points against them. Gabriel will have WR4/5 value heading into the weekend.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 2:03am ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel tallied seven receptions for 57 yards against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Gabriel caught half of his 14 targets and has been a decent secondary producer behind Allen Robinson. He hasn't topped 75 yards in a game, however, and Chicago's passing attack isn't exactly providing opponents with many sleepless nights. Gabriel has some deep-league value, but in standard formats you should be able to do better.

From TheHuddle

Nov 14 1:00am ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel will take on a Rams Defense that is allowing the 12th fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers this season. Gabriel caught four passes for 39 yards and one touchdown in last week's win and could see plenty of targets with teammate Allen Robinson being shadowed by top corner Jalen Ramsey. The Rams secondary, however, has been tough on wide receivers this season. Outside of a three-touchdown meltdown against the Seahawks, the Rams have allowed only four touchdowns to receivers all season. Gabriel should see at least one deep target in the game and will be no more than a dart-throw in deeper fantasy formats for Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 7:03pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Taylor Gabriel ended up with four catches, 39 yard and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Spin: Gabriel was back in the end zone for the first time since his three-score outing in Washington on Monday night back in late September. He has three or more grabs in four of his past five outings, and he can be a solid low-end WR4 or flex play in PPR leagues of 12 or more teams. The Bears travel to meet the Rams in Week 11.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 6:40pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel caught four passes for 39 yards and one touchdown in the team's 20-13 victory over the Lions. It was quiet afternoon for the veteran but sprung free for a 24-yard touchdown catch on a nice pass from quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Gabriel now has four touchdowns on the season but three of them came in the same game in Week 3. Gabriel now has 11 receptions over his last three games but has very minimal fantasy value with the Bears offensive struggles this season.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 1:40am ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel will take on a Lions Defense in Week 10 that is allowing the 14th most fantasy points to receivers this season. Gabriel has 122 receiving yards over his last two games and Detroit has allowed six different receivers to post 10-plus fantasy points against them over their last four games. The matchup is favorable but the Bears passing offense is in shambles right now. Starting Gabriel would be a huge roll of the fantasy dice in Week 10.
