Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill saw his workload heavily diminished upon the return of Devonta Freeman in Week 13. This week should be a similar story as the team faces the Panthers. Hill should see only around six or seven touches at best in the game, giving him little hope of a solid fantasy day. He can be left on waivers in all leagues at this point.

From RotoBaller

Dec 3 9:23pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman returned from injury Thursday, Nov. 28, against the New Orleans Saints and led his team with 62 offensive snaps played while RB Brian Hill played 24 of his 41 snaps on offense and Kenjon Barner saw just seven offensive snaps.

Fantasy Spin: Freeman rushed for 51 yards on 17 carries and remains without a rushing score through 10 games played. He'll have an excellent opportunity against the Carolina Panthers in Week 14, now that he's regained the bulk of the playing time.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 9:00am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill saw his workload decrease significantly with the return of Devonta Freeman. Hill earned just four carries in the game and gained only 13 yards on the ground. He also added three catches for 24 yards in the passing game. Freeman had 17 carries for 51 yards in the game. The good news for Hill is that rookie Qadree Ollison didn't have a single touch in the game, so Hill is the clear No. 2 for now. He can be dropped or left on waivers in just about all leagues.

From RotoBaller

Nov 27 8:40am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill appears to be slated to return to a reserve role this week. Devonta Freeman (foot) returned to practice without limitations and figures to regain the No. 1 running back workload against the Saints on Thanksgiving. Hill was extremely ineffective in Freeman's absence, gaining just 44 yards on 24 carries over two games while adding four catches for 21 yards. Qadree Ollison rushed for two touchdowns the past two weeks and could end up leap-frogging Hill as the team's No. 2 running back this week. Regardless of whether Hill out-touches Ollison or not, Hill's not worthy of starting in any fantasy leagues this week and can be dropped in just about all leagues.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 6:43pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Brian Hill rushed for 14 yards on nine carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12. He also caught three passes for 13 yards during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Hill has not posted great numbers since taking over the starting job but likely will continue to receive most of the work at running back until Devonta Freeman returns. He could be a flex option in some leagues next week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 4:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill struggled for the second straight game in Week 12. He carried the ball nine times and managed to gain just 14 yards. He caught three passes in the game, which is nice for PPR formats, but gained only 13 yards on the three catches. This performance comes a week after Hill gained just 30 yards on 15 carries. Qadree Ollison was the Falcons' No. 2 back in Week 12 and did slightly better than Hill, rushing eight times for 20 yards, and also scored a touchdown for the second straight week. Hill is a risky start going forward given his recent struggles, plus the team could have Devonta Freeman (foot) back next week as well.

From RotoBaller

Nov 21 12:10pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill had a rough game in his first start of the year in Week 11. He had 15 carries in the game, but managed just 30 yards with them. He also added an eight-yard reception on three targets in the passing game. The Falcons face the Buccaneers in Week 12, a team that's easier to pass against than run against. Hill figures to see around 15 touches in the game, assuming Devonta Freeman (foot) is out. Freeman is currently questionable, but hasn't practiced all week and is most likely going to sit for his second-straight game. Hill's most valuable touches in Week 12 will likely come in the passing game. In Week 10, Hill showed that he can produce solid numbers by putting up 71 yards and a touchdown against the Saints. This week, he has a chance to do the same, but the risk is clear given last week's struggles. Plus, Qadree Ollison appears to be the team's preferred short-yardage and red zone back, which takes some of Hill's upside away. Hill is a low-end RB2 or flex option this week and he's more attractive in PPR formats.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 4:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill certainly had plenty of opportunities to produce in Week 11, but he failed to do much of anything with them. He carried the ball 15 times for just 30 yards and caught only one of his three targets for eight yards. The team's No. 2 running back in the game, Qadree Ollison, carried the ball four times and managed to find the end zone on one of them. Hill figures to be the No. 1 back again in Week 12 as Devonta Freeman (foot) is likely to remain sidelined. However, as shown in this week's game, he might not be the most reliable starting option.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 4:33pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Brian Hill rushed for 30 yards on 15 carries against the Carolina Panthers in Week 11. He also caught one pass for eight yards during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Hill was a popular waiver wire pickup this week but was not a big contributor to fantasy teams. He likely will receive the start next week if Devonta Freeman remains sidelined but would be facing a tough Tampa Bay Buccaneers run defense. He probably would only be a flex option if he starts.

From TheHuddle

Nov 14 12:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill has a golden opportunity this week with Devonta Freeman (foot) likely out and Ito Smith (neck) on Injured Reserve. Hill appears to be the team's No. 1 running back for now. Last week, Hill saw his first extended action of the year when Freeman first suffered his foot injury. Hill gained 61 rushing yards on 20 carries in the game and added a 10-yard touchdown reception. The Falcons run game has been dreadful all year, but Hill figures to get such a heavy workload as well as involvement in the passing game, which will allow him to deliver a solid fantasy day. Expect him to get around 20 touches in Week 11 against the Panthers, including four or more receptions. He has a good chance to gain around 80 yards or more in the game with an opportunity to score.

From RotoBaller

Nov 12 9:33pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Brian Hill played 51 percent of the offensive snaps Sunday, Nov. 10, in the win over the New Orleans Saints. The bulk of Hill's work came with RB Devonta Freeman (foot) out of the game.

Fantasy Spin: With Freeman expected to miss multiple games and backup Ito Smith (neck) already out for the year, Hill will have a big role in a nice matchup against the soft Carolina Panthers run defense. He should be a top waiver priority this week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 10:40pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill had 20 carries for 61 yards in the win over the Saints on Sunday. With Devonte Freeman, who had 10 attempts for 38 yards, exiting prematurely with an ankle injury, the door opened for the 24-year-old to get his first taste of real action this season. While Freeman's status is unknown moving forward, along with Ito Smith (neck) on the injured reserve, expect Hill to be a popular waiver wire target heading into the Week 11 matchup in Carolina against the Panthers.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 4:43pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Brian Hill rushed for 61 yards on 20 carries against the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. He also caught one pass for 10 yards and one touchdown during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Hill may be in line to start in Week 11 depending on Devonta Freeman's foot injury. He has posted decent numbers in limited playing time over the last several weeks and could be at least a flex option next week if he starts.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 10:10am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill has established himself as the No. 3 running back in Atlanta and he could be the team's No. 2 back for the second straight week if Ito Smith (neck) is out for his second straight game. If Smith misses the game, Hill might end up seeing five or more touches, but against a tough Saints Defense, it's hard to expect much to come of that. Devonta Freeman is the team's clear No. 1 back for now and Smith is the clear No. 2 as long as he's healthy. Hill can remain on waivers in all leagues regardless of Smith's availability for Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 8:33pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Brian Hill rushed three times for 29 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Spin: Hill was seeing a little more work with Ito Smith sidelined. Despite the fact Hill has a rushing touchdown, and Devonta Freeman has none in eight games, he still has no fantasy appeal as long as Freeman is healthy. The Falcons are off in Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 4:40pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill filled in as the team's No. 2 back behind Devonta Freeman in Week 8 as Ito Smith (concussion) was sidelined due to remaining in concussion protocol. Hill only saw three carries in the game, but made the most of them, gaining 29 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown run, his first score of the season. Freeman saw 13 carries in the game and none of them went longer than 12 yards. The Falcons have a bye next week, giving Smith plenty of time to reclaim his No. 2 running back duties. Hill can be left on waivers in all leagues at this point.

From RotoBaller

Oct 24 10:40am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill figures to be the team's No. 2 running back in Week 8 as Ito Smith (concussion) has been ruled out. Hill received his first opportunities this year in Week 7 after Smith's injury and the ejection of No. 1 running back Devonta Freeman. Unfortunately, he didn't do too much with them, gaining just 11 yards on five carries while adding two catches for 14 yards. Freeman will be the workhorse in Week 8 against the Seahawks. He's received around 20 touches in each game he's completed recently. Hill, meanwhile will likely receive somewhere between five and ten touches, and given the inefficiency of the team's rushing game, that doesn't inspire much confidence for fantasy production. Hill can remain on waivers in all leagues and isn't a viable starting option this week.
