Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is one of the top fantasy quarterback options in a Week 3 game against the Miami Dolphins. Prescott threw three touchdowns in Week 2 and added 69 yards rushing. He'll face off against a barely-there Miami Dolphins team that has been outscored 102-10 through two weeks. Prescott is a surefire QB1 option, and the only thing keeping him from the top spot overall is the chance that he doesn't even need to play for parts of the second half.

Sep 17 1:00pm ET

Dallas' QB Dak Prescott scored an impressive 31.35 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 2 win in Washington. Prescott threw for 269 yards on 26-of-30 with three touchdowns and one interception. It's the 2nd time this season Prescott scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Sep 16 2:03am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott finished 26-of-30 for 269 yards and three touchdowns to go along with one interception in Week 2 versus the Washington Redskins.

Fantasy Spin: Although it wasn't quite his 405-yard, four-TD effort against the New York Giants in Week 1, his fantasy owners have to be thrilled by what they are getting from him so far - even if the competition hasn't been all that great. Speaking of which, the Cowboys face the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. It would be a shocker if Prescott isn't able to put up top-10 fantasy quarterback numbers in that matchup.

Sep 15 4:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had another strong performance in Week 2. He threw for 269 yards, completing 26 of his 30 passes for three touchdowns. Prescott threw an interception as well, but added 69 yards on five carries on the ground. Prescott's touchdowns were on passes to Devin Smith, Jason Witten, and Amari Cooper. New offensive coordinator Kellen Moore has really been able to play to Prescott's strength, making him look like a solid QB1 going forward.

Sep 15 11:33am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's contract extension talks appear to be at an impasse at this time because the two sides may not agree on the length of the extension.

Fantasy Spin: The Cowboys were confident last week that Prescott would sign soon, but it appears that the two sides still need to work some things out. Prescott is coming off an outstanding Week 1 performance and should be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback again this week.

From TheHuddle

Sep 15 11:20am ET

The Dallas Cowboys' contract-extension talks with quarterback Dak Prescott have reached an impasse after owner Jerry Jones called a deal imminent just last week. Not much is going on and nothing is expected to happen for the foreseeable future, according to sources. Prescott could be holding out for a shorter-term deal that a lot of recent quarterbacks have agreed to. The 26-year-old didn't let his contract talks get in the way of shredding the Giants for 405 yards and four touchdowns through the air in the season opener, and he gets another excellent matchup against Washington in Week 2. Consider Prescott a very solid QB1 against the Redskins.

Sep 11 12:50pm ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is a strong QB1 option for a Week 2 matchup on the road against Washington. Prescott was great in new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore's revamped offense in Week 1. He threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns and the Cowboys offense had no trouble moving the ball. Taking on a Washington defense that allowed two long touchdowns to the Eagles last week, Prescott is ranked right in the middle of the QB1 list for Week 2.

Sep 10 4:25pm ET

Cowboys' QB Dak Prescott scored an impressive 37.45 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 1 win against the Giants. Prescott threw for 405 yards on 25-of-32 with four touchdowns. It's the 1st time this season Prescott scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Sep 9 1:43pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is reportedly very close to agreeing to terms on a contract extension, as team owner Jerry Jones believes something will get done 'on an imminent basis.'

From TheHuddle

Sep 9 12:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on Sunday that he expects to have a deal with quarterback Dak Prescott in a matter of "days." "It would probably be fair to say itll be done on a imminent basis. Imminent. Without being real clear, bright lined. Its not done. Whats imminent? Well, days. Days. Or something like that," Jones said. There's even more incentive to reward Prescott with an extension after he went 25-for-32 for 405 yards, four touchdowns and the first perfect passer rating in team history in the Week 1 destruction of the division-rival Giants. With one of the best running backs behind him and Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Randall Cobb in the passing game, Prescott looks ready to put up a lot of QB1 weeks in 2019. He should be owned in more leagues.

Sep 9 12:43am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott went 25-for-32 with 405 yards and four touchdowns in a Week 1 victory over the New York Giants. Prescott added 12 yards on four carries.

Fantasy Spin: With Jerry Jones handing out extensions left and right, Prescott made an early case for why he sits atop the list of contracts that need attention. He was accurate and found holes in an overmatched Giants secondary, averaging an impressive 12.7 per attempt. As good as Prescott looked, however, it comes with a couple of asterisks: 1) Ezekiel Elliott played just 34 snaps after missing the preseason, and 2) it was against the Giants, the same team he torched in Week 17 last year despite playing with the JV squad. With Washington and Miami on deck, though, Prescott's early-season outlook is excellent.

Sep 8 7:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had an excellent opening to the 2019 season, completing 25 of his 32 pass attempts for 405 yards and four touchdowns in a Week 1 victory. Prescott also carried the ball four times for 12 yards on the ground. Overall, it was an impressive outing for Prescott and the whole Dallas offense. Amari Cooper, Jason Witten, Ezekiel Elliott, and Randall Cobb were responsible for the catches that gave Prescott his four touchdown passes. He and his team will take on Washington next week, and Prescott should be on the QB1/2 borderline for that matchup.

Sep 8 7:30pm ET

Cowboys' QB Dak Prescott passed for a monster 405 yards on 25-of-32 with four touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Giants.

Sep 7 6:03am ET

Contract negotiations with Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will continue into the regular season if no deal is finalized by the team's first game versus the New York Giants Sunday, Sept. 8, according to executive vice president Stephen Jones.

Fantasy Spin: Prescott has posted decent numbers over the last few seasons and should be viewed as a low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 in most fantasy formats, based on his potential and the offensive weapons surrounding him in Dallas.

From TheHuddle

Sep 5 10:10pm ET

The Dallas Cowboys have made it a priority to reach a contract extension with quarterback Dak Prescott now that they have locked up offensive lineman La'el Collins and running back Ezekiel Elliott this week. Prescott doesn't want to focus on a deal during the season. "Were trying to put the best team around him, we want him to win Super Bowls, hes going to be the quarterback around here for many, many years to come," executive vice president Stephen Jones said. With or without an extension, Prescott is more of a QB2 for fantasy owners, although he's more of a low-end QB1 in Week 1 against the Giants. Dallas may pass more than usual while easing Elliott back into the fold after his long holdout this summer.

From RotoBaller

Sep 4 12:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is a decent option in deeper leagues for Week 1. Taking on the New York Giants, Prescott is currently ranked right on the QB1/2 turn. The Giants Defense should be pretty good this season and with the focal points of the Dallas offense, Amari Cooper (foot) and Ezekiel Elliott (holdout/conditioning) at less than 100%, Prescott needs to be dinged a few points. The Cowboys should have no problem securing a win in Week 1, but Prescott is more likely to turn in a workmanlike performance than anything that would excite a fantasy owner.

From RotoBaller

Aug 28 9:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said the team isn't closing contract negotiations with quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver Amari Cooper, even when the season begins. "Oh, yeah, were open for business," Jones said. "We dont put any deadlines on anything." Prescott and Cooper have gone under the radar with running back Ezekiel Elliott holding out this preseason. It's looking more likely that Elliott misses time in the regular season, which would put a damper on Prescott's upside in fantasy. He's on the low-end QB1/high-end QB2 borderline. Cooper would be in line to see more work, but his stock has also fallen a bit due to a foot injury that has kept him sidelined in camp.

From RotoBaller

Aug 20 6:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said Tuesday, Aug. 20, is doesn't feel like there's any real movement on contract extensions for QB Dak Prescott, RB Ezekiel Elliott or WR Amari Cooper, according to David Helman of Jones added things could move fast.

From TheHuddle

Aug 18 1:30am ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott completed all five of his passes in Saturday's preseason game, gaining 64 yards. As expected, Prescott didn't play much but he should get a larger share of at least the first half in the Cowboys dress rehearsal next week. With Ezekiel Elliott far from a sure thing for Week 1, Prescott may have a bit more on his shoulders than expected to start the season.

From RotoBaller

Aug 13 8:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Tuesday, Aug. 13, he's willing to continue contract negotiations with QB Dak Prescott, RB Ezekiel Elliott and WR Amari Cooper in the regular season.

Fantasy Spin: This is least promising for Elliott, who has said he won't play this season without a new deal. With Jerry apparently willing to play hardball, drafting the elite running back won't be for the faint of heart.
