Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy said that quarterback Mitch Trubisky (hip) is dealing with "a right hip pointer" that he suffered in the Sunday night loss to the Rams. Trubisky was injured at the end of the second quarter and was then benched before the final drive with the team trailing. The third-year QB has taken a step back in 2019 under Nagy, going 176-for-282 (62.4 percent) for 1,580 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions in nine games played. He's yet to go over 253 yards passing in a game this year. His injury doesn't sound serious, but Trubisky will be a low-level QB2 in Week 12 if he plays, despite the good matchup against the Giants. If Trubisky looks bad again, backup Chase Daniel might take over the gig to close out the year.

Nov 18 1:43pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (hip) suffered a right hip pointer when he was sacked at the end of the second quarter in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams, according to head coach Matt Nagy. Trubisky was pulled from the game late in favor of Chase Daniel, but Nagy insisted the move was made due to the injury. 'Every decision that was made, it had zero to do with his play. It was completely based off his injury and where he was at,' Nagy said.

Fantasy Spin: Trubisky was not particularly good again in Week 11 even before the injury. His play across the board has deteriorated from last year, and one of the biggest differences in his game in 2019 is how little he has scrambled (and how ineffective he has been at doing it). Trubisky has two good upcoming matchups against the New York Giants and Detroit Lions, but it will be difficult for owners to start him in fantasy at any point the rest of the way.

Nov 18 8:40am ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky struggled on Sunday night in the loss to the Rams, finishing with 190 yards, a touchdown, and a pick on 24-for-43 passing. The 25-year-old, who threw three touchdowns the week before against the Lions, suffered a hip injury early in this one but continued to play before finally shutting it down late in the fourth quarter. Trubisky will likely take it easy during practice throughout the week, with his status for Week 12 against the visiting New York Giants in limbo at the moment.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 1:33am ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (hip) completed 24 of his 43 passes for 190 yards, one touchdown and one interception during the team's Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Trubisky was removed in favor of QB Chase Daniel late in the fourth quarter, and after the game the team announced Trubisky had suffered a hip injury earlier in the game and could not finish.

Fantasy Spin: Hmm... a hip injury you say? While that's the official word there's bound to be plenty of healthy skepticism given the team's struggles. Injured or not, Trubisky has become unplayable in fantasy leagues and is currently the poster boy for a Bears season that began with promise but has gone down in flames before we even reached Thanksgiving.

Nov 14 12:50am ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky will try and bring his team back to .500 against the Rams in Week 11, Trubisky bounced back after a horrific showing against the Eagles by throwing three touchdowns against the Lions last week. But he will have a more challenging test this week against a Rams Defense that is allowing the 11th fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. They have, however, allowed an average of 281 yards passing over their last six games, The season is on the brink for both teams but Trubisky can't be trusted to deliver in fantasy for Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 6:43pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky completed 16-of-23 passes for 173 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Spin: Trubisky tied a season best with three scores, and the game marked just his third multi-TD performance of the season. He hasn't had back-to-back games with two or more TD throws since a three-game span from Oct. 14-28, 2018. He remains a low-end QB2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 6:20pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 16 of 23 passes for 173 yards and three touchdowns in the Bears much-needed 20-13 win over the Lions in Week 10. Once again, the Bears offense struggled heavily in the first half and the home crowd showed its displeasure. But Trubisky caught a heater in the third quarter, passing for touchdowns on the team's first two second-half drives. The third-year quarterback enjoyed one of his best fantasy days of the season despite some indecision in the pocket that led to several sacks. Despite the positive performance, Trubisky is still unplayable in fantasy heading into Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 1:10am ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky will try and turn around his dismal season in Week 10 against the Lions. The matchup is favorable as the Lions have allowed 10 passing touchdowns to quarterbacks over their last three games. Additionally, Trubisky has fared the best in his career against the Lions among the other NFC North teams. The third-year quarterback owns a 96 career QB rating with five touchdowns and an average of 282 passing yards a game in five contests against Detroit. But Trubisky has been terrible all season and has only five touchdowns passes through seven games. Despite the positive matchup, Trubisky cannot be trusted to deliver in fantasy for Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:30pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed only 10 of 21 passes for 125 yards and 15 rushing yards in the Bears 19-14 loss to the Eagles in Week 9. With the team's backs against the wall, Trubisky delivered a horrible performance in the first half. The Bears failed to pick up a first down until there was under a minute left in the opening half and posted only nine yards of total offense. The second-year quarterback came to life at times during the second half to make the game interesting but Trubisky's confidence is at an all-time low. That level of confidence should also apply to fantasy owners when it comes to Trubisky's prospects moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 5:43pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky completed 10-of-21 passes for 125 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also ran for 15 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Another week, another unproductive day for Trubisky from a fantasy perspective. If you're looking for a streaming option in Week 10, literally go any other way. It's just not happening for Trubisky in Chicago right now, and while it is certainly speculation, it wouldn't be surprising if he is benched soon.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 4:00pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky's season, and perhaps career, will be on the line this Sunday against the Eagles in Week 9. The Bears are 3-4 and cannot afford to lose many more games if they have plans on keeping up in the NFC playoff race. Furthermore, Trubisky's season has gone so poorly that his leash as starter is growing shorter by the day. He will go up against an Eagles Defense that is allowing the 13th most fantasy points to opposing passers this season. Trubisky showed improved play in Week 8, despite two costly turnovers, by throwing for 253 yards and five completions of 20-plus yards. The Bears struggled in the red zone but the Eagles defense ranks 22nd in red zone defense. Trubisky could conceivably post his best fantasy line of the season in Week 9. Or he could be looking at losing his starting job in the near future if he cannot perform.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 2:13pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky will remain the starting quarterback for the foreseeable future, according to comments made by head coach Matt Nagy on Monday, Oct. 28.

Fantasy Spin: While there are multiple problems with Chicago's offense, the biggest one may be Trubisky, who has failed to throw for a touchdown in four of his six starts this season. The lack of respect from defenses for the third-year starter has made defending the Bears much easier than it should be, thus bogging down the entire offense. Trubisky is a low-end QB2 at best until further notice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 5:20pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 23 of 35 passes for 253 yards with one interception and one fumble lost in the Bears crushing 17-16 loss to the Chargers in Week 8. Trubisky made some solid throws for several 30-plus-yard completions but turnovers on back-to-back possessions in the fourth quarter put the Chargers in a position to steal the lead. The third-year quarterback led an admirable final drive to set up a game-winning field goal but Eddy Pineiro missed on a 41-yard attempt with :04 seconds left in the game. The Bears offense made some strides in the ground game but were inept in the red zone. Trubisky will be a wobbly fantasy play despite facing a porous Eagles secondary in Week 9.

From RotoBaller

Oct 24 3:10pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky will be under the microscope when the team takes the field in Week 8 against the Chargers. The season, thus far, has been a total disaster for Trubisky and the Bears offense. The third-year quarterback has regressed this season and his numbers have been propped up by one strong first half in Washington and two garbage-time drives last week. He will go up against a Chargers Defense that is allowing the eighth fewest fantasy points to opposing passers and have registered an interception in each of their last four games. Even when Trubisky's passing game was off last season he still could produce fantasy points with his legs. But he will head into Week 8 with 21 rushing yards all season, making Trubisky one of the riskier fantasy plays this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 8:10pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 34 of 54 passes for 251 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears 36-25 loss to the Saints in Week 7. Practically all of the third-year quarterback's stats came in the final moments after the Bears had fallen behind 36-10. The Bears offense was abysmal for three quarters and Trubisky showed plenty of rust. He was able to salvage his outing from a fantasy perspective but will not be a viable option until he can show sustained accuracy and efficiency.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 3:23pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is officially active for the team's Week 7 game.

Fantasy Spin: Trubisky returns to the lineup after missing the last few weeks. He will be facing a tough New Orleans Saints defense and may only be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 9:23am ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) will play in Week 7's game against the New Orleans Saints, according to multiple sources.

Fantasy Spin: Trubisky had been listed as questionable on the injury report despite fully participating in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week. He should only be used in two-quarterback leagues and as a bye week replacement this afternoon because of the difficult matchup versus the New Orleans defense.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 2:00am ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky will play on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. He had been questionable heading into Week 7 with a shoulder injury. New Orleans allows the 10th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, so this isn't a bad spot for Trubisky if you're in a pinch at the quarterback position. With Trubisky back, owners who picked up Chase Daniel in two-quarterback leagues can safely drop him.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 3:03pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Friday, Oct. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: A little odd considering that Trubisky was a full practice participant all week coming off a missed game and a bye. If he plays, as expected, he's a desperation low-end QB2 play against a tough Saints defense.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 3:00pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky (shoulder) practiced in full all week but is listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Saints. Trubisky should return after coming out of the bye week, but he's a mediocre QB2 option in an offense that hasn't done much through the air all season long. On top of it, the New Orleans defense has been good at limiting opposing quarterbacks and wide receivers.
