Player Notes
Dec 29 8:20pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott ran the ball 18 times for 122 yards and a touchdown in a Week 17 win. Elliott also caught three passes, gaining just two yards total, but scoring a touchdown through the air as well. Elliott played well in this one, but it wasn't enough to extend the Cowboys season, as the Eagles beat the Giants and took the NFC East title. Another 8-8 season for the Cowboys means some changes could be in store in Dallas, but Elliott will of course remain a top-tier RB1 for the 2020 NFL season.

Dec 29 7:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 23-of-33 passes for 303 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 17 against the Washington Redskins, but the Cowboys were eliminated from the playoffs due to Philadelphia's victory over the New York Giants. RB Ezekiel Elliott ran 18 times for 122 yards and a touchdown, while RB Tony Pollard rushed 14 times for 60 yards. WR Michael Gallup posted five grabs for 98 yards and a career-high three touchdowns, while WR Amari Cooper finished with four grabs for 92 yards. WR Randall Cobb ended up with five catches for 81 yards, and TE Jason Witten wound up with four receptions for 24 yards.

From TheHuddle

Dec 24 9:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will be one of the top backfield options in Week 17 fantasy lineups. "Zeke" and the Cowboys will be taking on Washington in a must-win game. The Washington defense struggles against opposing running backs, and with quarterback Dak Prescott still potentially dealing with a shoulder ailment, the Cowboys offense may lean heavily on Elliott and the run game. Elliott is being ranked as a top-three option all over, and as the top overall option by some.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 11:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed 13 times for 47 yards and caught all seven of his targets for 37 yards in a 17-9 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott has shredded Philadelphia historically, but he never found a rhythm in this one. While the Cowboys await their playoff fate, Elliott should close the year on a high note against Washington. He ran 23 times for 111 yards and a score against the Redskins in Week 2.

From TheHuddle

Dec 22 7:50pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott totaled just 84 yards from scrimmage in Week 16. The Cowboys offense in general had a hard time getting anything going against the Eagles Defense. Elliott ran the ball 13 times for 47 yards and added seven catches for 37 more yards. Elliott actually led the team in catches with his seven, and he was third on the team in receiving yards. The Cowboys will play a must-win game next week against a Washington team that just allowed 41 points to the New York Giants.

From RotoBaller

Dec 18 11:30am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is a strong Week 16 option in fantasy lineups despite a tough matchup on the field. The Cowboys will be in Philadelphia to take on the Eagles, who have been solid against the run this season. Still, Elliott is coming off a two touchdown game and should be relied upon quite heavily in a game where the NFC East title and a playoff berth are at stake. He's a top-five running back choice for fantasy championship lineups.

Dec 16 3:13am ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott ran 24 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Dec. 15. Elliott also caught three passes for 43 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott broke a five-game streak of being held to less than 100 yards on the ground, running around and through Rams defenders. Next up is a rematch with the Eagles, who surrendered 147 total yards and a TD to Elliott in their first meeting.

From TheHuddle

Dec 15 7:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott ran all over the Los Angeles Rams Defense in Week 15. He ran the ball 24 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns, adding three catches for 43 more yards. "Zeke's" first score came on a one-yard plunge with his second coming from three yards out. It was a strong game from Elliott, who will be needed again in a critical battle for the NFC East title next week against the Eagles.

From RotoBaller

Dec 11 12:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott should be a solid fantasy contributor in a Week 15 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Elliott scored twice in Week 14 despite the Cowboys inexplicably going away from the running game for long stretches. Hopefully, coach Jason Garrett feeds his star running back in this one. Elliott comes in as a top-half RB1 for this matchup.

Dec 6 12:00am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott scored two touchdowns on the ground in a Week 14 to the Chicago Bears. Elliott ran the ball 19 times, gaining 81 yards. He added two catches for 12 yards on five targets. Elliott stayed on the field the whole game with Tony Pollard (ankle) inactive. Elliott's first touchdown was a two-yard run in the first quarter, and his second was another two-yard run at the end of the third.

Dec 5 11:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed 19 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 12 yards in a 31-24 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: The Cowboys had to abandon the run for much of the second half while playing from behind, but Elliott did manage his second multi-touchdown effort of the year. He hasn't been dominant in 2019, but a heavy workload makes him a weekly RB1 candidate.

From TheHuddle

Dec 3 12:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is a must-start as usual for Week 14, the first week of fantasy playoffs in many leagues. The Cowboys will travel to Chicago to take on the tough Chicago Bears Defense, but Elliott still ranks in the top-five of running backs for the week. While the Cowboys could struggle to move the ball through the air, they should rely on the ground game and on short passes. Coming off a seven-catch game against the Buffalo Bills, Elliott has a high floor and a desirable ceiling this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 6:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys left guard Connor Williams (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on Thanksgiving Day and will be out for the rest of the season, according to sources. Williams missed one game because of surgery to his left knee. He'll be replaced by Xavier Su'a-Filo the rest of the way. It's certainly a downgrade for Dallas' running game and running back Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys have a tough matchup with Chicago's strong defensive front next Thursday.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 12:50am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott couldn't find the end zone in Week 13, but he still picked up a decent number of yards despite a loss to the Buffalo Bills. Elliott ran the ball 12 times for 71 yards and added 66 yards on seven catches. He was targeted 10 times, much more than he'd been in recent games. Elliott was super efficient, averaging 5.9 yards per carry, but with the Cowboys playing from behind almost all game, they were forced to throw much more often than they'd likely planned. Elliott will have another tough challenge in Week 14 when the Cowboys face the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football.

From RotoBaller

Nov 28 7:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott ran for 71 yards on 12 carries and caught seven of 10 targets for 66 yards but was held out of the end zone in the Week 13 loss against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Spin: The Cowboys grabbed the early lead but quickly fell behind and let the game get away from them, phasing Elliott out of the gameplan as a rusher. He faces another tough matchup against the vaunted defense of the Chicago Bears next Thursday night, and he may be under the direction of a new head coach.

From TheHuddle

Nov 26 1:50pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott should have a solid outing on Thanksgiving against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills Defense is excellent against the pass but can be attacked through the ground game, which will be Elliott's role. The Cowboys will likely feed Elliott plenty of touches, as he should easily approach the 25 touches he had against the New England Patriots. Odds are, these touches will be more productive, too. Fire Elliott up as a top-half RB1 for Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 11:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed 21 times for 86 yards and caught four passes for 40 yards in a 13-9 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 12.

Fantasy Spin: He didn't exactly gash the Patriots, but fantasy owners will certainly take 126 yards from scrimmage after back-to-back duds from Elliott. This type of performance is more in line with what to expect from him going forward.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 8:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott rushed 21 times for 86 yards and caught four balls for 40 yards. It's the most rushing yards "Zeke" has had in three weeks, but the whole team was kept out of the end zone. He remains a must-start as a RB1, and he'll have a good matchup against the Buffalo Bills Thursday night.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 11:20am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is coming off two straight ineffective running games and could have another lined up for Week 12 against the New England Patriots and their elite defense. Elliott has been able to maintain RB1 status thanks to finding the end zone twice last week, but he's only run for 47 and 45 yards in his last two games. It's been more about the opposing defense game planning around him than about anything Elliott's done wrong, but the Patriots are sure to have a similar plan. Elliott will still have a solid floor in this one, but his ceiling is severely limited and he could be a disappointment if he doesn't find the end zone.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 11:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys right tackle La'el Collins (knee) injured his left knee in the Week 11 win against the Lions, but there's a belief that he can start in Week 12 in the showdown against the Patriots on the road, according to a source. Collins will be monitored throughout the week. One of the best right tackles in the league, the Cowboys will need Collins and the rest of their offensive line to be at their best this Sunday if they want to spring the upset on New England. Collins' presence on game day would be a boost to both Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.
