Washington Redskins S Deshazor Everett (ankle), LB Josh Harvey-Clemons (hamstring), OG Wes Martin (chest), FS Montae Nicholson (ankle), CB Josh Norman (hand, thigh) and WR Steven Sims (toe) did not participate in practice Monday, Oct. 21. LB Ryan Kerrigan (elbow) and OT Donald Penn (non-injury) were limited during practice. The Redskins did not hold a practice Monday, so these are estimations.

Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins S Montae Nicholson (ankle) was seen walking around in a boot Monday, Oct. 21, after injuring his right ankle in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 6:20pm ET

The Washington Redskins Defense held the San Francisco 49ers to three field goals on Sunday, but a lack of offense resulted in a 9-0 loss. Washington's defensive effort in a game marred by miserable weather kept the Niners from establishing their run as effectively as they've been able to in previous games. This unit also sacked Jimmy Garoppolo twice and picked him off once. The hard rain was just as much of a culprit as anything else, but Washington's defensive players performed admirably in a game they were supposed to decidedly lose.

Washington Redskins S Montae Nicholson (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the Week 7 game and is considered questionable to return.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 12:30pm ET

Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman (hand, thigh) is inactive for Week 7 against the 49ers. You obviously shouldn't come close to trusting Washington's defense in fantasy this year, and having Norman out makes them an even weaker unit this weekend. Norman's absence is good news for San Francisco receiver Marquise Goodwin, but he'll still a shaky flex in fantasy because of a low target share this year and the fact that the 49ers probably won't need to pass all that much in this one.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 11:53am ET

The Washington Redskins have declared CB Deshazor Everett, CB Josh Norman, SS Josh Harvey-Clemons, TE Vernon Davis, RB Chris Thompson, OG Wes Martin and QB Colt McCoy inactive for Week 7.

From TheHuddle

Oct 19 10:33pm ET

Washington Redskins SS Landon Collins leads all defensive backs with 55 total tackles this season, and his 39 solo stops are tied for the third most in the NFL.

Fantasy Spin: Collins has been one of the best IDP options among defensive backs since entering the NFL, and it has been business as usual this season. He has recorded at least seven tackles in all six games this year, logging at least six solo stops five times.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 4:20pm ET

The Washington Redskins Defense is allowing an average of 4.6 yards on opposing rushing attempts, and they're about to go up against a 49ers team that has attempted the second-most rushes in the league despite playing one fewer game than a majority of NFL teams. San Francisco's commitment to the run isn't just some stubborn refusal to diversify its game plan, either, as they're averaging 4.6 yards per carry. They've got two capable running backs in Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida, so there will always be a relatively fresh set of legs ready to rumble over what is sure to be a worn-out Washington front seven. The Redskins allow opponents to extend drives on 50.6% of third down opportunities, the second-worst mark in the league. Steer clear.
