Oct 21 10:50am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson fell back to Earth a bit during a 30-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7. Wilson completed 20 of his 41 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown in the defeat. He also threw his first interception of the season as Marcus Peters ran a soft pass back for a 67-yard pick-six. Wilson had been superhuman through the first six weeks of the season, so it was surprising to see such an inefficient outing from the MVP candidate. Nevertheless, he will have a fantastic opportunity to rebound in Week 8 against a depleted Atlanta Falcons Defense.

Oct 21 12:43am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 20 of 41 passes for 241 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Wilson also ran three times for 27 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson, who has been playing at an MVP level this season, struggled badly on Sunday against a relentless Ravens attack that registered eight QB hits. The veteran also finally got burned throwing back across the field as Marcus Peters stepped in front of one for a pick six. Look for Wilson to shake it off next week when the Seahawks visit the free-falling Falcons.

Oct 19 7:00pm ET

The Baltimore Ravens Defense isn't nearly as dominant as they were a year ago. They've been involved in a couple high-scoring affairs already this season. Russell Wilson is on a roll right now, he's managed to score more than 30 fantasy points in each of his last two appearances. The Ravens are currently allowing an average of 281.5 yards per game to QB's, though things might change with the addition of Marcus Peters. Still, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense should be able to put up points against Seattle's defense, forcing Wilson to throw. If Wilson can get 30 passing attempts, or anywhere near that total, he's going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Oct 15 1:00pm ET

Seattle's QB Russell Wilson scored an impressive 31.85 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 6 win in Cleveland. Wilson threw for 295 yards on 23-of-33 with two touchdowns. It's the 4th time this season Wilson scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Oct 13 9:50pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had another fantastic day on Sunday as he not only led Seattle to their third road win, but he also upped his total to 14 passing touchdowns while still remaining free of interceptions. Wilson completed 69.7% of his passes against the Browns, and he also ran in a touchdown. Wilson has always been a model of efficiency, but he's taken his game to the next level this season. After six games, Wilson has a 14/0 TD/INT rate, three rushing touchdowns, a completion rate of 72.5%, 1,704 passing yards, and a passer rating of 124.7. He's having a phenomenal season, and if he can keep this type of performance up, he could be hoisting his first MVP trophy at the end of the year.

Oct 13 5:33pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 23-of-33 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns while running for 31 yards and a score.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has total 14 touchdown passes with no interceptions and he has run for three more scores. He just isn't making any mistakes, which is great news for fantasy owners and his real team. The Seahawks host the Ravens in Week 7.

Oct 12 2:30am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will take the field on Sunday as the top QB in the fantasy game, and he'll be looking to do whatever it takes to bring home another win. Wilson's thrown for multiple touchdowns in four of the five games he's played this season, and this weekend's matchup will have Wilson throwing at a defense that has been roasted in recent weeks. Cleveland has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks over the last two weeks, and they're coming off a complete shellacking at the hands of the 49ers. With Wilson's obsession with efficiency and ball control, expect him to have another strong game this weekend.

Oct 11 8:50pm ET

Seattle Seahawks left tackle Duane Brown (biceps) and offensive guard D.J. Fluker (hamstring) have both been ruled out for Week 6 against the Browns. Guard Ethan Pocic (back) was also placed on Injured Reserve on Friday. Seattle's offensive line is banged up entering a matchup with an imposing Cleveland pass rush, so this could be a problem for quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Chris Carson on the road.

From RotoBaller

Oct 5 8:20pm ET

Seahawks' QB Russell Wilson scored an astounding 32.60 fantasy points in Thursday's Week 5 win against the Rams. Wilson threw for 268 yards on 17-of-23 with four touchdowns. It's the 3rd time this season Wilson scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Oct 4 2:20am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson put on a phenomenal show on Thursday night as he threw four touchdown passes and zero interceptions in Seattle's defeat of the Rams. Wilson has now thrown for 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions this season, and he's recorded a ridiculous 126.5 passer rating through the first five games of the season. His TD passes in this game included a mind-boggling throw to Tyler Lockett, a gorgeous 40-yard bomb to D.K. Metcalf, and a floater to Chris Carson, who was wide open because of Wilson's ability to run. Wilson is now a strong contender in the MVP race for 2019.

Oct 4 1:33am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 17 of his 23 passing attempts for 268 yards and four touchdowns against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, Oct. 3. He added 32 yards on eight carries.

Fantasy Spin: Thursday night was the Seattle offense at its best. They ran the ball 43 times, and Wilson was creative and accurate in the passing game, consistently eluding pressure and hitting on a deep ball to Metcalf and an incredible dime into the corner for Lockett. He has now accounted for 14 TDs (12 passing, two rushing) without an INT. He's a solid QB1.

From TheHuddle

Oct 2 7:50pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is coming off a fairly standard game on Sunday, but he could be in for a big night on Thursday. Wilson is facing a Rams secondary that just allowed Jameis Winston to put up 385 yards and four TDs through the air, so there's certainly an opportunity for Wilson to hang big numbers on LA. However, his performance will likely hinge more on how his defense is doing. Wilson has thrown for more than 300 yards in just one game so far this season, and that was when Seattle was trailing New Orleans for the entire game. If LA jumps out to a lead, Wilson will be called upon to put up QB1 stats. If Seattle can get ahead early, expect them to lean on the running game. Since both teams' defenses have struggled a bit so far, it's likely that Wilson will have to carry the team for a while and have a big game.

Sep 30 2:40am ET

A week after having to put the team on his back, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson got right back in his efficient groove. Wilson shifted gears back out of overdrive and instead cruised his way to a solid and consistent performance against the Cardinals. Wilson tallied 240 yards and one passing touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes during the team's win in the desert. Wilson has yet to throw an interception this season, and his 240/1/0 performance in Arizona is considerably better than last year's 172/0/0 showing. Wilson is certainly capable of putting up huge numbers, but expect Seattle and Wilson himself to be far more focused on winning. That will limit his "regular" production.

From RotoBaller

Sep 30 12:33am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson went 22-of-28 for 240 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals. He also rushed two times for seven yards.

Fantasy Spin: The day could've been so much larger for Wilson had the Seahawks chose to open things up, but that's not their style in games with positive game script. It's a bummer for his fantasy owners, as Seattle's preference to run the ball as often as it does clearly puts a ceiling on his statistical production. Wilson may be needed to open things up more in Week 5, however, as they host the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night. Fire Wilson up as a QB1 for that affair.

From TheHuddle

Sep 27 2:40pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is primed for another big week on Sunday as he faces a struggling secondary in Arizona. Wilson is coming off one of the biggest games of his career in the team's Week 3 loss to the Saints, but Seattle should have a bit of an easier time against the winless Cardinals. With Arizona using a variation of an Air Raid offense, opposing teams are getting lots of opportunities through the air in return. The Cardinals have allowed the third-most passing yards so far, and opposing quarterbacks are posting some of the best numbers in the league against them. With Seattle struggling to blow out any opponents so far this season, expect Wilson to get plenty of chances to air it out and rack up some big numbers in the desert.

From RotoBaller

Sep 24 4:25pm ET

Seattle's QB Russell Wilson scored an impressive 45.40 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 3 loss against the Saints. Wilson threw for 406 yards on 32-of-50 with two touchdowns. It's the 2nd time this season Wilson scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Sep 23 2:30am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson put up huge numbers in Sunday's loss against the Saints. Wilson completed 32 passes on 50 attempts for 406 yards and two passing touchdowns. He also carried the ball seven times and ran in a pair of touchdowns, including one where he straight muscled through a Saints defender. The explosion of passing attempts was due to the fact that Seattle trailed by a hefty margin for the majority of the game after a series of bad breaks early on. That said, this is the second straight game where Wilson has tallied up sizable QB numbers. Perhaps Seattle is willing to let him use some of his magic moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Sep 23 12:33am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson finished 32-of-50 for 406 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. He added 51 yards rushing and two more scores on seven carries.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson threw for 251 yards in the second half and accounted for three of his four touchdowns over the final 11:51 after the Seahawks had fallen behind 27-7. It all counts the same for fantasy owners, and he's very much capable of putting up numbers like this when Seattle decides to open things up - be it out of necessity or not. While it's unlikely the Seahawks will air it out this much again this season, Wilson will once again be a strong QB1 in Week 4 in a sweet matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

From TheHuddle

Sep 22 8:30pm ET

Seahawks' QB Russell Wilson passed for a phenomenal 406 yards on 32-of-50 with two touchdowns in Sunday's loss against the Saints. It was Wilson's 2nd consecutive 300+ yard passing game. He has averaged 353 yards passing in those games.

Sep 19 7:10pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson told the media on Wednesday that he's sad that Drew Brees won't be out there on the field on Sunday. Wilson mentioned that he's close friends with Brees, who he also said is one of his favorite players of all time. Wilson will instead be facing off against Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill, though it will likely be the New Orleans defense that he's paying more attention to. The Saints Defense has struggled so far, and Wilson has been lights out up to this point. Completing 78% of his passes and racking up five touchdowns through the first two games, owners should expect another consistent performance by Wilson in Week 3.
