Player Notes
Dec 11 4:00pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen will take on a Packers Defense in Week 15 that is allowing the fifth most fantasy points to opposing backs this season. Green Bay has allowed 13 different running backs to post 11 or more fantasy points against them and 13 rushing touchdowns. The matchup is appealing but Cohen lacks value as a fantasy starter for Week 15. He has a role in an improving offense but his touches have decreased as the season has gone along. Cohen has taken on more of a change-of-pace role in the offense and his touches have been capped in the 8-to-12 range. Cohen has game-breaking talent but his fantasy floor should be keep him on the bench in most leagues in Week 15.

From RotoBaller

Dec 6 3:10am ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen pulled in all six of his targets for 24 yards in the win over the Cowboys. He also had seven yards off of three carries. Once again, Cohen did little on the ground as David Montgomery served as the workhorse on Thursday by logging 86 yards on 20 attempts. After scoring a touchdown in each game against the Lions and Rams, the 24-year-old hasn't done much over the last three weeks outside of picking up the scraps left over by Montgomery, Allen Robinson, and Anthony Miller. He is good for the occasional score, but don't expect much against the Packers in Week 15 or throughout the remainder of the year, for that matter.

From RotoBaller

Dec 6 1:43am ET

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen ran three times for seven yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14. He also caught six passes for 24 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Thursday was pretty much par for the course with Cohen, who was averaging 38 yards per game on the season entering Week 14. His six receptions gave him 60 on the year, which might afford him some depth appeal in PPR formats. Outside of that, though, Cohen isn't really worth owning.

From TheHuddle

Dec 3 4:20pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen will try and break a big play against the Cowboys to kick off Week 14 on Thursday night. The Dallas defense is allowing the 15th most fantasy points to opposing running backs but have allowed only one receiving touchdown to the position all season. Despite the semi-appealing matchup, Cohen has been one of the more disappointing fantasy assets this season. After racking up 1,000-plus yards from scrimmage last season, Cohen has only 456 total yards through 12 games. The Bears stagnant offense has failed to get the ball into Cohen's hands in space and trusting him in fantasy lineups will be a leap of faith in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Nov 28 5:03pm ET

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen ran for nine yards on three carries and caught all four of his targets for 26 yards in Week 13 versus the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Spin: Cohen wasn't heard from after halftime. The scatback is perhaps the most dynamic player on Chicago's offense, but the combination of Mitchell Trubisky's inconsistent play and his role makes him run hot and cold for fantasy purposes. Cohen should be considered a flex play at most in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys as the fantasy playoffs begin for most owners next week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 26 4:40pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen will go up against a Lions Defense that is allowing the second most fantasy points to runners this season. Detroit has allowed a whopping 17 total touchdowns to opposing backs this season, one of those scores coming from Cohen in Week 10. Cohen has plenty of talent but has endured an awful season playing in a Bears offense that has been hamstrung by poor quarterback play. The running back has only 421 yards from scrimmage all season and the team has struggled to get him the ball in space. The matchup looks delicious on paper, but Cohen will be a risky, touchdown-dependent fantasy option on Thanksgiving to kick off Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 7:53pm ET

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen ran six times for a team-high 25 yards in Week 12 against the New York Giants and he added seven receptions for 29 yards on nine targets.

Fantasy Spin: David Montgomery was bottled up against the Giants, so the Bears turned to Cohen a little more on the ground and he had 4.2 yards per carry to just 1.7 for Montgomery. Cohen could be a sneaky flex fantasy option in the early Thanksgiving game against the leaky pass defense of the Detroit Lions in Week 13.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 5:30pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen caught a team-high seven passes for only 29 yards and added 25 rushing yards in the Bears 19-14 win over the Giants. Cohen was the lead back on several drives in the first half but failed to find ample room to run. The Bears offense has been a train wreck this season and Cohen has suffered perhaps the most from a fantasy perspective. Rarely does the speedster get the ball downfield in space and must use his elusiveness to make plays in traffic at the line of scrimmage. The Bears now will travel to Detroit for a Week 13 tilt on Thanksgiving. Cohen caught a touchdown against the Lions in Week 10 but posted only 37 total yards in the game.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 4:10pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen will go up against a Giants Defense that is allowing the 17th fewest fantasy points to opposing backs. It has been a dismal offensive season for Cohen but has touchdowns in each of his last two games. It may be tough to extend that streak against a Giants defense that has not allowed a receiving touchdown to a running back this season. Cohen's fantasy value has taken a drastic hit this season and will be a volatile play in Week 12.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 8:50am ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen outplayed David Montgomery on Sunday night in the loss to the Rams. Cohen rushed for 39 yards, eight more than Montgomery, on nine attempts in addition to five receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown. This was arguably the most productive outing of the year for the 24-year-old, who has now scored in his last two games. He likely will return to yielding touches to Montgomery on a week-to-week basis moving ahead, but he still possesses PPR appeal in deeper formats due to his ability to catch passes out of the backfield. He will look to keep it going against the Giants at home in Week 12.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 1:53am ET

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen carried the ball nine times for 39 yards and caught five passes for 35 yards and a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Cohen has now scored in consecutive weeks for the Bears, making a nice sideline catch for the team's only points. He's looked a little more dynamic in recent weeks, though it's fair to wonder how long the undersized back will hold up getting double-digit touches in a game. Pencil him in as a decent flex against the Giants in Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 14 1:00am ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen will look to make an explosive play on Sunday Night Football when the Bears take on the Rams in Week 11. Cohen is coming off one of his more active games of the season, posting 37 total yards with one touchdown against the Lions last week. Cohen is a threat in the passing game but the Rams Defense has not allowed an opposing running back to post more than 35 receiving yards against them since Week 1. The Bears offense is still a major work in progress, making Cohen a very risky FLEX play in most fantasy formats for Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 6:53pm ET

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen rushed three times for 14 yards in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions while finishing with four grabs for 23 yards and a touchdown.

Fantasy Spin: Cohen is a playmaker, but he just doesn't seem to get enough touches in an offense which could use a jolt. He remains more of a low-end RB3 in PPR leagues of 12 or more teams at this points. The Bears travel to meet the Rams on the road in Week 11.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 6:30pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen totaled only 37 yards from scrimmage but found the end zone in the Bears 20-13 win over the Lions. Quarterback Mitch Trubisky found Cohen in the red zone and the running back used his speed to hit the edge and sprint in for a score. Cohen's numbers have fallen off a cliff this season but he still got seven touches in the game. Unless the Bears offense dramatically improves soon, Cohen's fantasy value will not rise above a bench stash.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 1:20am ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen has endured a frustrating offensive season through the first eight games but will take on a leaky Lions run defense in Week 10. The Lions are allowing the most fantasy points to opposing backs and seven different runners have posted more than 100 yards from scrimmage against them. Despite the juicy matchup, Cohen has struggled to get the ball in open spaces this season. Whether it's inaccuracy from the quarterback or untimely drops from Cohen, it just hasn't worked out to this point. Cohen will be no more than a touchdown-dependent RB3/4 in Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 7:00pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen caught two passes for nine yards and added only seven rushing yards in the Bears 19-14 loss to the Eagles in Week 9. The Bears offense was anemic once again and Cohen failed to gain yards on several red zone opportunities. Cohen was so dynamic and explosive last season but coach Matt Nagy's offensive scheme is a shadow of its former self. It may be time to cut bait on Cohen in fantasy moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:03pm ET

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen ran twice for seven yards in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles and he added two grabs for nine yards on five targets.

Fantasy Spin: Cohen is a dangerous weapon when he can get into open spaces, but they Bears do not give him that many chances. He might need a change of scenery before he has an impact from a fantasy perspective, as the current coaching regime doesn't seem to like him that much.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 4:10pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen will have a daunting task taking on an Eagles Defense that is allowing the sixth fewest fantasy points to opposing backs. The Eagles have allowed only one 100-yard rushing game all season and have allowed only one receiving touchdown to running backs this season. Cohen has been an extremely disappointing fantasy asset this season and has only 240 all-purpose yards through the team's first seven games. The speedster's production is miles away from his output last season and cannot be trusted in any fantasy format for Week 9.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 5:40pm ET

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen caught three passes for 37 yards in the Bears 17-16 loss to the Chargers in Week 8. Cohen caught a nice pass from quarterback Mitch Trubisky for 31 yards in the first half but was largely ineffective the rest of the game. The Bears offense got the ground game going in Week 8 but Cohen totaled only nine rushing yards on four carries. Until the Bears can show consistency moving the ball, Cohen is becoming a fantasy asset that is quickly losing value by the day.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 5:13pm ET

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen posted four runs for nine yards in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers and he added three receptions for 37 yards on three targets.

Fantasy Spin: The Bears have an explosive rookie in David Montgomery, and he had a day on Sunday. Cohen's touches continue to be limited, although he too can be very explosive, especially in the pass game. It seems the Bears aren't using him to his full capability, and therefore fantasy owners needn't pay him any mind while his touches and usage remains rather limited. The Bears travel to meet the Eagles in Week 9.
