Player Notes
Dec 2 2:00am ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry was the unfortunate victim of poor cornerback play on Sunday against the Broncos. While this was a good thing for wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, who combined for nearly 200 yards receiving, it meant Henry was regularly passed up as an option on passing downs. Henry finished with just two catches for 10 yards, and LA only ran three plays inside the red zone all game. Expect this to be the exception instead of the rule for Henry. He should be back to being a regular contributor next week.

Dec 2 1:33am ET

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry had two receptions for 10 yards against the Denver Broncos in Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: This was easily Henry's worst game of 2019, falling 20 yards short of previous season low (in a game where he also caught a TD pass). Just chalk it up to a good player having a bad game, and not necessarily due to anything he did as Henry was targeted just three times. He remains a must-start TE1 next Sunday against Jacksonville.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 9:00pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry has been a strong option since he returned to the lineup, and he'll likely be one of the team's most important assets this Sunday. The Chargers will be facing the daunting Denver defense, but they've actually been quite susceptible to tight ends over the last month, allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. With Philip Rivers struggling, Chris Harris Jr. patrolling the wideouts, and head coach Anthony Lynn abandoning the run quickly, Henry could be the critical component that the team's offense leans upon.

Nov 19 2:30am ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry tacked another 69 yards onto his season total in Monday night's loss to the Chiefs. He's now either tallied 60+ receiving yards or a touchdown in six of the seven games he's played this season, and he's still averaging 12.5 yards per reception this season. Henry has been in a constant struggle with his health, but he seems to be fully healthy now. When he's at the top of his game, Henry is arguably the best tight end in the NFL, and he's proving it this season. Even with a quarterback who has been struggling, Henry is putting up a fine season.

From RotoBaller

Nov 19 12:53am ET

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry posted six receptions for 69 yards on nine targets in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, Nov. 18 in Mexico City. He also had a two-point conversion reception.

Fantasy Spin: Henry is a solid low-end TE1, but fantasy owners will need to make alternate plans in Week 12 with his team on a bye.

From TheHuddle

Nov 16 1:30pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry has been the man since he returned to the team in mid-October, and it doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon. Henry has either chalked up 80+ yards or a touchdown in four of his five games back, and with a likely shootout coming against the high-powered Kansas City offense, expect Henry to do one or both once again. Philip Rivers threw to Antonio Gates as one of his most dependable targets for years, and it looks like he trusts Henry to fill those shoes moving forward. Henry should be started in all leagues at this point, as he is one of the very best tight ends in the league when he's healthy.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 1:40am ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry didn't have a huge night on Thursday, but he did wind up in the end zone for a score in the second quarter. On third down from the two-yard line, Philip Rivers dropped back to pass while Henry leaked out through the secondary and somehow, no Raiders noticed that he was on the field. Rivers hit Henry in the back of the end zone without an Oakland player within five yards of him. Henry continues to be one of LA's most consistent and dependable targets, and he looks every bit like a worthy successor for Antonio Gates. He'll just need to stay healthy, and if he can do that, he's one of the best in the league.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 1:23am ET

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry had four receptions, 30 yards and a touchdown in a Week 10 loss to the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Spin: Henry has been great since returning from injury, but the Raiders did a nice job of limiting his impact, holding him to a season-low 30 yards receiving and matching a low in receptions. His seven targets trailed only Keenan Allen, though, and Henry remains one of the focal points of the offense. He's a must-start in Week 11 against the Chiefs and fellow stud TE Travis Kelce.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 3:50pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry is healthy and back to doing exactly what folks thought he could do. Henry has six or more catches and 80+ yards in three of his last four games, and he's a huge weapon anywhere on the field. Henry is fast enough to get big gainers in the middle of the field, and he's big enough to be a beautiful red zone target. Facing a Raiders team that is one of the very worst in the league at defending opposing tight ends, the only thing that can keep Henry from scoring is the variety of weapons on his own offense. Expect Henry to continue to put up excellent numbers and compete for the title of best tight end in football.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 2:40am ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry was back at it again in Week 9 as he hauled in seven passes for 84 yards. That gives him 80+ yards in three of the four games since he returned to the lineup, and his 77.6 yards per game is the best of any tight end in the league. He also racks up a first down on 75.9% of the catches he makes, topping the league in that as well. Henry may only have two touchdowns so far on the season, and he's always an injury risk, but he's one of the very best in the league at his position. He should be started every week in every league.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 10:53pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry caught seven of his 10 targets for 84 yards in a 26-11 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Since returning from injury, Henry has been targeted early and often by Philip Rivers. He's a must-start TE1

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 7:30pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry has been busy the last three weeks with 18 grabs for 244 yards and two scores. However, his play has regressed in each of the last two weeks. That could change this week as the Green Bay Packers have been the worst team at defending the position the last five weeks. He's averaging 6.4 catches for 74.8 yards and one touchdown per game during that span. Feel confident with Henry as your TE1 this week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 12:00pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry fell back to earth after his impressive performances since his return from injury against the Chicago Bears. Henry caught four of his six targets for 47 yards in a tight victory for the Chargers, his lowest totals since his return. The tight end remained a big part of the team's offense, with his six targets trailing only lead receiver Keenan Allen in the game. Henry will look to bounce back in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers, who have struggled to contain tight ends this season.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 4:43pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry posted four receptions for 47 yards on six targets in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Spin: Henry looks to have put the knee injury which cost him four games in the rear-view mirror. After a couple of games back, he looks like a low-end TE1 in most fantasy formats of 12 or more teams. The Chargers host the Packers in Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 10:20am ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry is likely a starting option this week against the Chicago Bears, despite the matchup. The Bears have been one of the better units against tight ends this season, giving up an average of just 7.8 points to the position. However, they haven't faced a tight end that is utilized as heavily as Henry is for the Chargers. Henry has played in two games since returning from injury and has caught 14 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns. There are going to be easier games for Henry this season, but given his importance to the offense, he should be a starting tight end this week, especially if Keenan Allenmisses the game with his hamstring injury.

From RotoBaller

Oct 21 12:40pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry caught six passes for 97 yards during a 23-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. The 24-year-old has seen 17 targets over his past two games. Now fully healthy, Henry is unquestionably a top-tier tight end for the remainder of the season. He has a tougher matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 8, but he is still an undisputed TE1 for the contest.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 10:13pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry caught six of his eight targets for 97 yards in a 23-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: Injuries have limited Henry to three games, but he has reach 60 yards in all of them. He's a TE1 as long as he remains healthy.

From TheHuddle

Oct 19 7:10pm ET

Hunter Henry is coming off the heels of a monster performance against the Steelers. He made good on eight of his nine targets where he stacked up 100 yards and a touchdown. The Titans are a middle of the pack defense against the TE position, and they've only faced one legitimate threat in Austin Hooper back in Week 4 where he blew their secondary out of the water. The TE position is paper thin, and Henry should be a shoo-in for a TE1 week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 15 8:20pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers' TE Hunter Henry scored 30.00 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 6 loss against the Steelers. Henry caught eight passes for 100 yards with two touchdowns. It's the 1st time this season Henry scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Oct 14 3:30pm ET

Chargers' TE Hunter Henry had 8 receptions for 100 yards with two touchdowns in Sunday's loss against the Steelers.
