Player Notes
Nov 18 12:50am ET

San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert rushed six times for 13 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals. With the Niners falling behind early, the running attack managed just 34 yards Sunday as quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and rookie wideout Deebo Samuel shined. Mosterts quiet day is a bummer considering the absence of Matt Breida (ankle), but the entire ground game got nothing going. Mostert continues to show flashes but has done little to merit serious fantasy attention. Hell be a volatile flex play if Breida is held out again in Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 3:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) is officially active for the team's Week 11 game.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert will have a role in the offense with Matt Breida out and has been productive when he receives carries in the past. He can be considered a flex option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 15 6:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 15, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert has been on the injury report for the last few weeks but was able to play last week and should be in uniform against the Arizona Cardinals. He will see more playing time on offense with Matt Breida out and can be a flex option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 14 7:53pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert should receive a bigger role in the offense with Matt Breida likely out for the game. He has played well at times this season and will have a favorable matchup this week. He can be considered a flex option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 9:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert should be able to play in Week 11 and probably will have a bigger role with Matt Breida injured. He has a chance to be a flex option in leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 5:20pm ET

San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert is back on the flex radar in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals. With Matt Breida (ankle) likely to miss a week or two, Mostert should reinsert himself as the first mate in San Franciscos rushing committee behind Tevin Coleman. The fifth-year pro has averaged an impressive 6.3 YPC over the past two seasons and has flashed his top-tier speed and burst in limited duty. Mostert played roughly 30 percent of snaps earlier this year when Coleman was sidelined and is in-line for 10-15 touches against a porous Cardinals Defense. On a run-heavy offense and having demonstrated the ability to catch passes, Mostert is playable in deeper formats and is a sneaky low-cost DFS option.

From RotoBaller

Nov 11 7:13pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) is officially active for the team's Week 10 game.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert is coming off a disappointing Week 10 performance and probably will only see a handful of touches this week. He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 9 5:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers PK Robbie Gould (quadricep) and TE George Kittle (knee/ankle) didn't practice Saturday, Nov. 9, and are considered doubtful for Week 10. OT Mike McGlinchey (knee), RB Raheem Mostert (knee), OT Joe Staley (fibula) and CB Ahkello Witherspoon (foot/quadricep) were limited participants and are questionable. TE Levine Toilolo (groin) was limited but is expected to play. DL Dee Ford (quadricep) and FB Kyle Juszczyk (knee) practiced in full.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 7:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 8.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert received only one carry in the last game and has been held to under 35 yards in three of the last four games. Fantasy players should keep Mostert on the bench and look for other options to use.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 7:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers PK Robbie Gould (quadricep), TE Levin Toilolo (groin) and CB Ahkello Witherspoon (foot, quadricep) didn't practice Thursday, Nov. 7. DL Dee Ford (quadricep), FB Kyle Juszczyk (knee), OT Mike McGlinchey (knee), RB Raheem Mostert (knee) and OT Joe Staley (fibula) were limited participants.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 7:13pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) is officially active for the team's Week 9 game.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert should receive some touches against the Arizona Cardinals after his strong Week 8 performance. He could be a flex option in some deeper leagues because of the matchup but is not a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 3:13pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) is expected to play in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Spin: San Francisco's backfield is dealing with its fair share of injuries, but it appears all hands will be on deck on a short week. Tevin Coleman is the only one of the bunch that can be considered a strong start, although bye-week issues could fantasy owners to go with Matt Breida and/or Mostert. As the third back in the rotation, Mostert is a last-ditch flex play at best.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 3:00pm ET

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan believes that running back Raheem Mostert (knee) will be able to play on Thursday night against the Cardinals. With Matt Breida (ankle) also expected to suit up behind Tevin Coleman, that won't leave much work for Mostert, even with San Fran sporting the NFL's No. 2-ranked running game at 181.1 yards per game. Mostert will only see valuable touches in the backfield if one of Coleman or Breida are injured against Arizona. Those that picked Mostert up this week hoping that Breida wouldn't play will be bummed, but he's still worth holding in deeper leagues in case an injury occurs ahead of him.

From RotoBaller

Oct 30 5:53pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 30, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert posted 60 rushing yards and one touchdown last week, so he should receive some touches against the Arizona Cardinals. He likely will see more work if Matt Breida does not play and could be a possible flex option in deeper leagues if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Oct 29 10:33pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Matt Breida (ankle), FB Kyle Juszczyk (knee), OT Mike McGlinchey (knee), RB Raheem Mostert (knee), TE Levine Toilolo (groin) and CB Ahkello Witherspoon (foot) didn't participate in practice Tuesday, Oct. 29. DE Dee Ford (quad), OT Justin Skule (knee/foot) and OT Joe Staley (leg) were limited participants.

From TheHuddle

Oct 29 4:43pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RBs Raheem Mostert (quad) and Matt Breida (ankle) did not participate in practice Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Fantasy Spin: Head coach Kyle Shanahan offered an ominous assessment on Breida's status for Week 9, saying "if we had to go today, it wouldn't be good." Also working against both players is the fact San Francisco plays the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday this week. Expect a big fantasy day from Tevin Coleman and perhaps flex-worthy production from Jeff Wilson Jr. if Mostert and Breida are unable to make the quick turnaround.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 5:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited during practice Monday, Oct. 28. The 49ers did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert was able to play in Week 8 despite the injury and finished with 60 yards and one touchdown. He will continue to receive a handful touches each game and could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 3:03am ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) carried nine times for 60 yards and a score against the Carolina Panthers in Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Mostert sits behind Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida on the depth chart, but he's capable of producing when needed. If Breida is held out Thursday due to his ankle injury, Mostert could be a sneaky good one-week option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 8:10pm ET

San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert amassed 60 yards and a touchdown on nine carries in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers. Mostert saw his role increase after Matt Breida (ankle) exited midway through the game and he was rewarded with a 41-yard garbage-time touchdown in the final minutes of the 51-13 blowout. With the severity of Breidas injury unknown, Mostert could have a meaningful role in Week 9 on a short week. If Breida is ruled out, Mostert has flex appeal against a weak Arizona Cardinals Defense on Thursday Night Football.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 3:10pm ET

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (personal) is not active for Week 8 against the Panthers, while running back Raheem Mostert (knee) is active. Goodwin just hasn't been a factor at all in 2019 for San Fran's run-first offense, and he's even more unattractive now in fantasy with Emmanuel Sanders set to take over as the team's No. 1 wideout this week. Expect Sanders, Dante Pettis and rookie Deebo Samuel to be active in three-receiver sets against Carolina, but only Sanders is worth starting in fantasy lineups in his team debut. Mostert is unlikely to produce much behind both Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida.
