Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankles) was officially placed on the Reserve/Injured list on Monday, Nov. 25.

From TheHuddle

Nov 25 1:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron is seeing his quiet season come to a close on Monday morning after it was announced that he would be placed on Injured Reserve with a pair of ankle injuries. Ebron finished the year with 31 catches for 375 yards and three touchdowns. Ebron was in a contract year, so this could loom large for him heading into the offseason. Fellow tight end Jack Doyle is going to see his stock steadily rise with the absence of Ebron. Outside of Week 11, he's seen at least two targets and caught at least one ball in every game. Doyle still doesn't have the athleticism or touchdown skills that Ebron possesses, but he does give you a consistent floor every week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 25 8:43am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankles) is headed for the Reserve/Injured list because he needs surgery on both of his ankles.

Fantasy Spin: This will put extra emphasis on Jack Doyle, who has pretty similar numbers as Ebron for the season. Doyle becomes a low-end TE1 and should be owned in most leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 1:33am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle) led the team in both receptions (four) and receiving yards (44) in their Week 12 loss to the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Spin: Ebron has a regular role in the offense, it's just not enough to generate much fantasy value. Everyone knew there'd be regression after Ebron caught 13 TDs a season ago, but he's currently on pace to post a 45-545-4 line, which is a massive drop across the board from 66-750-13. He's a low-end fringe TE1 at this stage, nothing more.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 12:20am ET

Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron relies on touchdowns for the majority of his value, but in Week 12 he was able to get some solid yardage. He caught four of his five targets for 44 yards, and he'll likely finish among the top 10 in tight ends for scoring this week with just 8.4 PPR points. Ebron has remained a pretty big disappointment after the elite fantasy season that he produced in 2018. When the team has gotten down into the red zone, a number of their scores have come on the ground. Ebron remains the No. 2 receiving target in this offense, but that doesn't turn into much when the offense struggles to move the ball.

From RotoBaller

Nov 21 7:23pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 12 game.

Fantasy Spin: Ebron had success against the Houston Texans earlier in the season and should see some targets in the Week 12 game. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 21 12:30am ET

Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron remains firmly in the TE2 category thanks to his athleticism and abilities in the red zone. In Week 12 against the Houston Texans, he is again a TE2 with upside thanks to a soft defense. You likely drafted Ebron to be your top tight end, and he hasn't been that this season with just three touchdowns through 10 games. This could be the week he gets back into the end zone, but there are still a few players with better matchups and outlooks than him.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 3:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (calf) and tight end Eric Ebron (ankle) are both listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Texans. Tight end Mo Alie-Cox (thumb) is also questionable. All three players were full participants in Wednesday's walkthrough and are expected to play. Hilton would be active for the first time since Oct. 27. The 30-year-old has roasted the Texans in his career, but he'll be a more risky WR2 if he returns to the fold this Sunday. Ebron will have low-end TE1 appeal if he plays this weekend, while his presence would be bad news for teammate Jack Doyle, who didn't have a single catch in Week 11. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett will become a more interesting QB2 streamer if he gets Hilton back.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 2:43pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 12. The Colts did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to check the inactive list to see if Ebron will be able to play in Week 12. He recorded 70 yards and one touchdown in his last game against the Houston Texans and could be a low-end No. 1 fantasy tight end if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Nov 19 4:53pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle) did not participate in practice Tuesday, Nov. 19. The Colts did not hold a practice Tuesday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Indianapolis did not practice Monday either and won't be going too hard Wednesday with a game at the Houston Texans on Thursday. Nevertheless, owners probably shouldn't expect much from Ebron in Week 12. Consider him a middling TE2 if he plays. If he doesn't, Jack Doyle could be a low-end streamer.

From TheHuddle

Nov 19 4:33pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle), WR T.Y. Hilton (calf), RB Marlon Mack (hand), CB Shakial Taylor (ankle), S Khari Willis (concussion) and CB Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) did not participate in practice Tuesday, Nov. 19. TE Mo Alie-Cox (thumb) and RB Jordan Wilkins (ankle) were upgraded to a limited practice, while WR Parris Campbell (hand) and Pierre Desir (hamstring) were limited for a second consecutive day. OT Anthony Castonzo (toe), S Clayton Geathers (rest) and S George Odum (shoulder) practiced in full. The Colts did not hold a practice on Tuesday, so the injury report is an estimation.

From TheHuddle

Nov 19 4:30pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (calf) and tight end Eric Ebron (ankle) both remained sidelined for Tuesday's estimation of their practice report. The Colts aren't ruling Hilton out for a return on Thursday night against the Texans, but fantasy owners would like to see him at least get in a limited session on Wednesday. While he's been out since Week 8, Hilton would have high-end WR2 upside against a weak Texans secondary if he were to return this week. He's been notorious for having huge games against Houston in the past. Ebron looks to be in danger of sitting out on the short week. If that were to happen, Jack Doyle would have low-end TE1 appeal after throwing up a donut in Week 11. Zach Pascal has been the team's primary receiver in Hilton's absence, but he's a low-upside flex in this run-first offense.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 11:00pm ET

Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron (ankle) was listed as did not practice in Monday's estimation of their practice report. Mo Alie-Cox (thumb) was also a DNP, so Jack Doyle could be looking at an increased role in the passing game this Thursday against the Texans if both Ebron and Alie-Cox aren't able to play. Doyle would have low-end TE1 appeal if that were the case. Ebron has had his chances this year but remains more of a touchdown-dependent TE2 after his 2018 breakout.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 4:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle) did not participate in practice Monday, Nov. 18. The Colts did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players should monitor the situation to see if Ebron will be able to practice over the next few days. He has been held to under 30 yards in three of the last four games but did post 70 yards and one touchdown against the Houston Texans earlier in the season. He could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 17 8:43pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron registered four receptions for 27 yards on four targets in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Spin: Ebron's fantasy line wasn't great, but it was much better than his egg laying two weeks ago when he had just two grabs for 16 yards. He hasn't found the end zone since Oct. 20 against Houston, who just happens to be the opponent Thursday in Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 15 12:10am ET

Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron wanted more opportunities, and he got them last week. He saw 12 targets, but he only came down with five of them. Regardless, he remains a TE2 in Week 11. The Colts are without three of their top four wide receivers due to injury, which puts Ebron in a position to make plays every week. He has three touchdowns on the year, and with three good tight ends on byes this week, there's a short list of players that can be in front of him. If you have a better option, you can start him, but the Jacksonville Jaguars have been average against tight ends this year. Especially if T.Y. Hilton (calf) misses another game, you could do much worse than Ebron.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 10:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught five of his 12 targets for 56 yards in 16-12 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: It was just the second time this season that Ebron has topped 50 yards. Meanwhile, his five receptions were a season high, and his 12 targets were seven more than his previous high. Don't expect this type of production or usage rate going forward.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 11:30pm ET

Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron had seen his stock and role consistently grow throughout the first half of the season. Over the last two weeks, that role has shrunk, as he saw just two targets last week. In Week 10, he should be able to bounce back based on his matchup alone. The Miami Dolphins give up points to everyone they face, and Ebron gives you a large target, especially in the red zone. With his size and athleticism, he has the ability to give you a big day if he's used properly. He gives you some streaming upside this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 7 2:23pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron said Thursday, Nov. 7, that he has spoken with coach Frank Reich about assuming a larger role in the team's offense.'I kicked that door in!' Ebron said of Reich's open door policy. 'You want to be that player that your team wants you to be.'

Fantasy Spin: Ebron has caught 18-of-31 targets for 248 yards and three TDs this season, but only has been targeted six times over the last two games, catching five for 42 scoreless yards. Fellow TE Jack Doyle has been slightly more involved, catching 24-of-34 targets for 232 yards and a pair of scores, but Ebron still has value as high-end TE2 at a thin fantasy position. We'll see if his talk produces more involvement, starting Sunday vs. the Dolphins.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 7:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron has had some flashes of greatness this year. In Week 9, he did not have one. He caught both of his targets for just 16 yards. The Colts offense wasn't getting a lot going through the air, and that reduced Ebron's ceiling. He still makes his money in the end zone, and the Colts weren't looking in his direction on that part of the field. His stock has steadily fallen week after week with teammate Jack Doyle remaining involved.
