Oct 19 1:00pm ET

Bengals' QB Joe Burrow scored 26.55 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 6 win in Detroit. Burrow threw for 271 yards on 19-of-29 with three touchdowns and one interception.

Oct 17 5:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow finished with 271 yards and three touchdowns on 19-for-29 passing during the decisive victory over the Lions on Sunday. He also added 20 yards off five carries. The 24-year-old was taken to a local medical facility after sustaining a throat contusion during the overtime loss to Green Bay. However, he appeared to be just fine and led his squad to an impressive 4-2 record on the year. The signal-caller kept things going in Week 6, and he now has 14 touchdowns throughout the first six games of the 2021-22 campaign, eight more than he had at the same point last season. At this rate, he should be classified as a viable fantasy option in all formats, so keep him going against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7.

Oct 15 6:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (throat) practiced in full all week and was removed from the final injury report for Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. Burrow suffered a throat contusion in the Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers and was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but it turned out to be nothing serious. There should be no limitations for the second-year signal-caller in a great matchup against the winless Lions this Sunday, and he will have running back Joe Mixon (ankle) operating on a normal workload. The 24-year-old has been a solid QB2 this year with 1,269 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. Burrow will have a high ceiling in this matchup, although Cincy probably won't need to air it out to win this game.

Oct 13 8:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (throat) is on "voice rest" after suffering a throat injury in the Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers that required a precautionary hospital visit, according to head coach Zac Taylor. After practicing in full on Wednesday, Burrow is expected to play this Sunday against the Detroit Lions. The second-year QB has completed 71.7% of his passes for 1,269 yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions through the first five weeks. He currently checks in as the QB16 in fantasy and has a great matchup on tap against the winless Lions. Burrow will be a strong QB2 option this weekend, but the Bengals also may not be forced to air it out against the Lions.

Oct 13 4:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (throat) practiced without limitations on Wednesday. The second-year signal-caller should be fully ready to go for this weekend's clash against the Detroit Lions in a game that could result in a lot of passing yards for the Bengals against Detroit's banged-up secondary. In a plus-matchup Burrow remains a high-end QB2 because of Cincinnati's desire to run the football; however, Burrow's health is great news for Ja'Marr Chase, who remains a WR1, and Tee Higgins, who is a low-end WR2 play this week.

Oct 11 3:00pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (throat) was released from the hospital last night after suffering what was described as a potential throat contusion. Burrow played through the injury in the team's eventual 25-22 overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, and he should be just fine going forward. His status is something to monitor, but he doesn't seem to be in any danger of missing Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. If he is active, he has lower-end QB1 appeal in a great matchup with a porous Detroit defensive unit.

Oct 10 5:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (throat) was taken to a hospital after the team's Week 5 overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers. He is being evaluated for a potential throat contusion. Few other details have been released at this time, including the details of when he suffered this potential injury. Burrow took a bit of a beating in Sunday's game as he was sacked three times, but he remained in the game throughout, completing 26 of his 38 passes for 281 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. We should get more updates from Cincinnati later today. Make sure to stay tuned.

Bengals' QB Joe Burrow scored 25.80 fantasy points in Thursday's Week 4 win against the Jaguars. Burrow threw for 348 yards on 25-of-32 with two touchdowns.

Oct 1 12:40am ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow finished with 348 yards and two touchdowns on 25-for-32 passing during the Thursday Night Football win over the Jaguars. Burrow couldn't get anything going during the first half but turned things around in the second. Tight end C.J. Uzomah was responsible for aiding in both of the former LSU Tiger's scoring throws, pulling in a 22-yard pass early in the third quarter before capping off the night with a 31-yard catch in the fourth. Still, the biggest takeaway of the evening was Burrow's mobility, which was a welcome sight for a player who entered the 2021 campaign coming off a significant knee injury. Nonetheless, the 24-year-old will have arguably his most challenging task of the year when Aaron Rodgers and the Packers head to town in Week 5. However, he is still worth a start in nearly all formats, especially since he has played so well this season.

Bengals' QB Joe Burrow passed for 348 yards on 25-of-32 with two touchdowns in Thursday's win against the Jaguars.

Sep 26 6:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow finished with 172 yards and three touchdowns on 14-for-18 passing to lead his team to the win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Burrow also threw an interception, but that didn't matter as he was locked in all afternoon. He connected with former LSU teammate Ja'Marr Chase four times, with two of those catches resulting in trips to the end zone. The 24-year-old continues to play well after undergoing major knee surgery during the offseason. With matchups against Jacksonville, Green Bay, and Detroit up ahead, managers should seriously consider starting the sophomore signal-caller in every format imaginable.

Sep 24 11:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has played better than expected throughout Weeks 1 and 2, especially for a player who sustained a severe knee injury during the 2020 campaign. The former LSU Tiger currently has four touchdowns to his credit, a number that is complemented by a 68.4 completion percentage. While Burrow's three interceptions are somewhat disheartening, he has plenty of serviceable weapons in his arsenal, specifically Joe Mixon, Ja'Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd, and Tee Higgins (shoulder), to keep things moving in the right direction against Pittsburgh. Although Higgins likely won't be in the lineup in Week 3, the sophomore signal-caller should still be considered a must-start in Superflex formats. However, his value in 10-12 team leagues isn't as high. Yet, Burrow has the potential to make some noise, especially with the Steelers defense operating without Carlos Davis (knee), Alex Highsmith (groin), and potentially T.J. Watt (groin). Joe Haden (groin) practiced fully on Friday, which isn't good news for Burrow. Still, he could do enough offensively on Sunday to be relevant from a fantasy standpoint, including in GPP DFS contests.

Sep 23 6:10am ET

The Pittsburgh Steelers defense will take on the Cincinnati Bengals at home at Heinz Field in Week 3. Pittsburgh's defense has been up-and-down through two weeks but they remain a top-notch fantasy option as far as defenses go. Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow is coming off of a three-interception game and the Pittsburgh pass rush could give him problems behind a shaky Bengals offensive line. This game is expected to be low-scoring, with Vegas setting the over/under set at 44 points. The Steelers are installed as 3.5-point home favorites and their defense should have a quality performance in Week 3. They can be trusted as a top-10 fantasy defense.

Sep 19 7:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow finished with 207 yards on 19-for-30 passing during the Week 2 loss to Chicago. Although the former LSU Tiger threw two touchdowns, connecting with Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase for scores for the second consecutive week, he also tossed three picks, with one of them going back for a defensive trip to the end zone. Nonetheless, it was foreseen that he would have a few rough outings here or there this year, primarily after undergoing knee surgery during the offseason. Burrow will look to get back in Week 3 against the Steelers, with the 24-year-old racking up 213 yards and a touchdown during his only career meeting against Pittsburgh.

Sep 18 8:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is looking to find the end zone for the second straight week. After a volatile preseason filled with dropped passes, the rookie led the team during the Week 1 win over the Minnesota Vikings, finishing with a team-high 101 yards and a touchdown off five catches (seven targets). While teammate Tee Higgins spent some time in the locker room to receive an IV, which opened the door for an uptick in looks from Joe Burrow, Chase should still be taken seriously as a viable DFS and redraft fantasy option for Week 2.

Sep 12 7:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase finished with a team-high five catches for 101 yards and a touchdown during the overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The rookie also led the way in targets for his club with seven, and his score of the day came off a 50-yard toss from former collegiate teammate Joe Burrow late in the second quarter. Nonetheless, although the performance was a step in the right direction, Chase has a way to go before instilling confidence in his fantasy managers. However, with Joe Burrow expected to continue to pass a ton moving ahead, he has a good chance of keeping things moving against the Bears in Week 2.

From RotoBaller

Sep 12 6:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow appeared in his first game since sustaining a season-ending knee injury in November of 2020. The sophomore signal-caller looked good, too, finishing with 261 yards and two touchdowns during the overtime victory over Minnesota. Despite facing constant pressure from the Vikings defense, taking five sacks on the afternoon, he still completed over 74 percent of his passes. Burrow even helped former collegiate teammate Ja'Marr Chase rack up his first career trip to the end zone, connecting with the rookie on a 50-yard scoring pass late in the second quarter. It didn't take long for the 24-year-old to silence those who believed he wasn't ready to return. Still, it is only one game, and he still has a lot to prove, although his fantasy stock will undoubtedly increase heading into the Week 2 contest against the Chicago Bears.

Sep 10 9:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will begin his sophomore season against the visiting Vikings on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. Burrow was one of the league's most impactful rookies during the 2020 campaign. However, a left knee injury suffered back in November ended his year. With his first season now behind him, the former LSU Tiger has plenty of upside against Minnesota in Week 1, primarily with Tee Higgins, Ja'Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd, and Joe Mixon on the offensive side of the ball. Burrow will probably be throwing a ton again this year, and the Vikings' secondary shouldn't give him any issues. Nonetheless, the signal-caller has a high ceiling for the opener, so he should be starting for managers playing in 12-team formats and beyond or in Superflex leagues.

From RotoBaller

Sep 7 10:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase isn't concerned about his performance during the preseason. During a recent interview, the rookie acknowledged his shortcomings as a professional thus far while also embracing the opportunity to improve. The No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft struggled with dropped passes during exhibition play over the last few months. Still, as he continues to shake off any residual rust caused by time away from the field, he has a shot to see an uptick in fantasy production during the 2021-22 campaign, primarily with an already established rapport with Joe Burrow stemming from their LSU days. Nonetheless, while Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd are more likely to produce early on during the year, Chase's ceiling may be a bit higher.

From RotoBaller

Sep 7 9:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow isn't concerned about his health heading into the regular season. Instead, his attention is focused on leading the franchise to an AFC North title and into the postseason. The sophomore signal-caller was on the cusp of being named the league's Rookie of the Year award winner last year. Yet, after he suffered a torn MCL and ACL in his left knee in November, among other damage, his quest came to an abrupt end. Burrow would finish the 2020-21 campaign with 2,688 yards, 13 touchdowns, and five interceptions. However, with an enhanced offensive line and some potent weapons in the Former LSU Tiger's arsenal, he has a fantastic chance of smashing his ADP projection.
