Player Notes
Nov 2 12:50pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison will face off against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9. There should be opportunities for the 25-year-old, especially if fellow receiver Davante Adams (toe), is healthy and shadowed by elite Chargers' corner Casey Hayward. Much like Marquez Valdez-Scantling, Allison is dependent on a touchdown to return fantasy value. Valdez-Scantling has seen 39 targets to Allison's 32, giving him a slight edge in this game. Neither of these players can be trusted this week. Treat Allison like a low-end flex option, at best.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 2:23am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison caught one pass for seven yards against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Fantasy Spin: Allison carried some sleeper potential into the 2019 season, but it sure feels like Allen Lazard has moved ahead of him in the pecking order. Once Davante Adams returns it'll be interesting to see if Allison remains as the team's No. 3 wideout.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 9:50pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison could have flex appeal for the upcoming matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. While Marquez Valdes-Scantling has struggled for targets with Davante Adams(toe) out of the lineup, Allison has been given more looks in the offense. While Allison hasn't been able to convert those opportunities into fantasy points, he is clearly one of quarterbackAaron Rodgers' favorite targets at the moment. The Chiefs are one of the better units against wide receivers this season, giving up an average of just 19.5 points to the position. With the targets that Allison is likely to command in the game, especially if Adams is absent, he should be considered a borderline WR3 this week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 5:40pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison was unable to keep his feet in bounds to score a touchdown against the Oakland Raiders. Allison finished the game catching four of his five targets for 33 yards. Allison looked like he would likely miss the game against the Raiders with a head injury. However, he was able to play and would have had a decent fantasy performance if he were able to catch his third touchdown of the season. While it remains to be seen if Davante Adams(toe) is able to return to the lineup next week, Allison had the largest target share of the wide receivers in the game. Allison will be looking to get on the score sheet next week against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he'll be a boom/bust WR4/flex if Adams misses another game.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 12:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (chest, concussion) is officially active for the team's Week 7 game.

Fantasy Spin: Allison is a risky option since he did not practice much this week. He should still see a solid amount of targets during the game and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 9:03am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) will be a game-time decision for Week 7's contest against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Spin: Allison was upgraded from doubtful to questionable Saturday, Oct. 19, despite not participating in any of the team's three practice sessions during the week and still being under concussion protocol. He should be viewed as a risky WR3 or flex option this afternoon if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Oct 19 1:03pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) on Saturday, Oct. 19, was upgraded to questionable, signaling he has better chance of playing in Week 7 on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Fantasy Spin: Those considering using Allison will first need to see him clear the concussion protocol and be declared active Sunday morning. If so, he's a WR3/flex consideration.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 8:40pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison (chest, concussion) missed practice all week and is doubtful to play in Week 7 against the Raiders. The Packers are holding out hope that Allison can get cleared from the concussion protocol, but it doesn't look like it's happening. Davante Adams (toe) has already been ruled out and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) will be a game-time decision. Green Bay could be without their top three wideouts, so Jake Kumerow, Allen Lazard and rookie Darrius Shepherd could be their three receivers on Sunday. Kumerow and Lazard will be in play as DFS sleepers and flex options in deeper leagues, but expect the Packers to lean heavily on their ground game.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 4:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) and S Darnell Savage (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 7 versus the Oakland Raiders. WR Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) and TE TE Robert Tonyan (hip) did not practice Friday, Oct. 18, and are listed as doubtful. CB Tony Brown (hamstring), DL Kenny Clark (calf/back) and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) were limited in practice Friday and are listed as questionable. TE Jimmy Graham (ankle), QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) and CB Tramon Williams (knee) were also limited Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. OT Bryan Bulaga (non-injury), LB Oren Burks (chest), RB Aaron Jones (shoulder), CB Kevin King (knee, groin), S Will Redmond (shoulder, ankle) and LB Za'Darius Smith (knee) fully participated in practice Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 2:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee, ankle) and Geronimo Allison (concussion) did not practice Friday, Oct. 18, and are listed as questionable for Week 7. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the team 'will see if they come around' over the next 48 hours.

Fantasy Spin: Both seem to be on the wrong side of questionable having not practiced all week, and Allison has yet to clear the concussion protocol. With No. 1 WR Davante Adams out another week with a turf-toe injury, Allen Lazard, Jake Kumerow and Darrius Shepherd are shaping up to be the Pack's top wideouts vs. the Raiders.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 2:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers WRs Davante Adams (toe), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee, ankle) and Geronimo Allison (concussion) were sidelined at practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Allen Lazard, Jake Kumerow, Darrius Shepherd and Ryan Grant were the only wideouts available to work Thursday, and it's looking as if that's going to be the case against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday as well. Lazard is shaping up as a potential high-upside WR3 option, while the others will be little more than desperation plays in fantasy.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 8:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (chest, concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Allison will need to pass all of the concussion tests before he is cleared to play, so his status will not be known until later in the week. He has been more involved over the last few weeks but probably can be avoided in most leagues even if he plays.

From TheHuddle

Oct 15 7:20am ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) hauled in three catches (seven targets) for 40 yards in the win over the Lions on Monday night. After leading the way in looks from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the 25-year-old would exit the game prematurely in the second half. He did not return. With Allison's status for Sunday's showdown with the Raiders in question, fantasy managers will want to monitor his progress throughout the week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 14 11:13pm ET

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) is still being evaluated for concussion and a chest injury and he will not return to the Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Spin: With Allison on the mend, it's Marquez Valdez-Scantling, Darrius Shepherd, Allen Lazard and Jake Kumerow steering the ship home.

From TheHuddle

Oct 14 10:33pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) is being evaluated for a concussion and a chest injury suffered in the third quarter of the Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Spin: The Packers are already in bad shape with Davante Adams inactive, and Marquez-Valdez Scantling leaving briefly before returning. Jake Kumerow and Darrius Shepherd will get more looks if Allison cannot return.

From TheHuddle

Oct 14 10:03pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (head) suffered an apparent head or neck injury in the third quarter of the Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions. He was able to walk off the field on his own to the medical tent after being down several moments.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 5:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison could be an effective flex option this week against the Detroit Lions, but only if Davante Adams(toe) misses the game. Allison continued to operate out of the slot for the Packers against the Dallas Cowboys when Adams wasn't in the lineup last week. While the Lions have been able to limit the production of wide receivers, giving up an average of just 20.7 points to the position, they have been vulnerable to slot receivers this season. However, in order to have a decent performance for fantasy owners, Allison would need to see more targets than he has in his previous games. Therefore, Allison should only be considered as a flex option if Adams were to miss the game.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 2:03am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison had two receptions for 28 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Allison led all non-RBs in targets with six, but that led to just two receptions. Although he's had a few isolated moments this season, Allison has yet to consistently resemble the player that was on a 1,000-yard pace prior to getting injured last season.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 10:30pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison drew elevated levels of fantasy interest ahead of his matchup against the Dallas Cowboys due to the injury to Davante Adams, but despite Allison getting six targets from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, he finished with just two catches good for 28 yards. No Packers wideout found the end zone, but Allison did see the second-most targets. He has been a touchdown-dependent fantasy option for much of the 2019 year, and will likely fall into the same category ahead of his Week 6 showdown with Detroit should Adams remain sidelined.

From RotoBaller

Oct 3 5:20pm ET

Green Bay Packers Geronimo Allison should be more involved in the offense against the Dallas Cowboys with Davante Adams(toe) a possibility to miss the encounter. Allison has been limited this season with the Packers focusing on establishing the running game and running fewer three-wide receiver sets in the new offense. Allison's ability to play on the perimeter and in the slot should mean that he is used on the majority of snaps in the matchup. However, even with the increased workload, his fantasy value is limited. The Cowboys have given up an average of just 17.1 points to the position, meaning Allison should only be considered in deeper leagues this week if Adams sits out.
