Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) reportedly has a good chance of playing in Week 2's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, although the team wants to see him participate in pregame workouts before making a final decision, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton had been listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited practice participant throughout the week. He can be a starting fantasy option but owners should have alternative options available in case he is deactivated.

From TheHuddle

Sep 20 9:30am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (shoulder) has a good chance to play on Sunday against Pittsburgh. Sutton is dealing with an AC joint sprain, which sidelined him for Week 1. The second-year pro was limited for all three practice sessions this week, certainly an improvement from Week 1 when he wasn't able to participate in the team's final two sessions. Sutton will work out prior to the game to make sure he's good to go, but he appears to be trending in the right direction. Unfortunately, the matchup against the Steelers Defense is a tough one, so he shouldn't be considered anything more than a risky WR3.

Sep 18 8:13pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 2.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton is expected to be a game-time decision, so fantasy players will need to check the inactive list. Players will need to have other options available in case Sutton is ruled out, but Sutton would be a risky option if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Sep 18 5:43pm ET

Denver Broncos LB Mark Barron (hamstring) and RB Phillip Lindsay (toe) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. OT Garett Bolles (elbow), WR Tyrie Cleveland (hip) and WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. S Kareem Jackson (non-injury), S Trey Marshall (wrist), LB Bradley Chubb (knee), WR KJ Hamler (hamstring), TE Albert Okwuegbunam (hip) and TE Jake Butt (hand) practiced in full Friday, Sept. 18, and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Sep 18 5:00pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Week 2 against the Steelers. Sutton is expected to be a game-time decision for Sunday after he missed the season-opening loss to the Titans. If Sutton winds up playing, he probably won't be 100 percent and could have his snaps limited, which makes him an extremely risky flex option against a stingy Steelers Defense. Quarterback Drew Lock would certainly benefit from the return of his top wideout, but even then we can't recommend the second-year QB in standard leagues. Without Sutton last week, tight end Noah Fant led the team in receiving and scored their lone aerial touchdown.

Sep 17 8:13pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 17.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton's status for Week 2 is still uncertain, so fantasy players will need to continue to monitor his progress. He can be starting option if he is able to play, but players should have other options ready in case he misses another game.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) was deemed 'questionable' for Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers by head coach Vic Fangio on Thursday, Sept. 17, although he did not suffer a setback during practice Wednesday, Sept. 16.

From TheHuddle

Sep 16 5:23pm ET

Updating a previous story, Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) was officially limited in practice Wednesday, Sept. 16.

From TheHuddle

Sep 16 2:43pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) will be limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton appears to have a chance to play in Week 2 but may be a game-time decision. He posted good numbers last season and will be the No. 1 receiver for the Broncos when he is healthy. Fantasy players can consider having Sutton in their lineups but will need other options available in case he is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Sep 15 3:13pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) appears to be a question mark for Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers based on comments from head coach Vic Fangio on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Fangio told reporters he hopes Sutton 'can do more by the end of the week.'

Fantasy Spin: This contradicts some reports out of Denver on Monday night that suggested Sutton was "real close" to playing in the opener. For now, fantasy owners should make other plans for Week 2, but it is entirely possible Fangio is slow-playing this as long as possible. If Sutton plays, he should be considered no better than a WR3 in what will be a difficult matchup.

From TheHuddle

Sep 14 9:33pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) has officially been declared inactive for the team's Week 1 game.

Fantasy Spin: Jerry Jeudy, DaeSean Hamilton and Tim Patrick likely will be the top three receivers for the Broncos with Sutton out. Jeudy can be at least a flex option in leagues, while Patrick could be a desperation play for players that hoped Sutton could be active.

From TheHuddle

Sep 14 9:23pm ET

The Denver Broncos have declared TE Albert Okwuegbunam, WR KJ Hamler, LB Mark Barron, DT McTelvin Agim, OG Netane Muti, LB Von Miller and WR Courtland Sutton inactive for Week 1.

From TheHuddle

Sep 14 4:13pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) appears to be 'a longshot' to play in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans, according to a source via NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

Fantasy Spin: It shouldn't come as a big surprise considering Sutton sprained his AC joint late in the week. However, Rapoport's report suggests there is some reason for optimism moving forward, as the source seemed to suggest that Sutton would likely play if tonight was a playoff game. Sutton's absence would thrust rookie Jerry Jeudy into the lead role. While Jeudy is unlikely to be available in most fantasy leagues, Tim Patrick would be a strong pivot for fantasy owners who have the ability to make a roster move before the game.

From TheHuddle

Sep 14 4:00pm ET

The Denver Broncos haven't ruled out wide receiver Courtland Sutton (shoulder) against the Titans on Monday night, but he appears to be a long shot to play, according to a source. Sutton suffered an AC joint sprain a few days ago in practice. He'd likely play if it was a postseason game, but the Broncos might play it safe and sit him out at the end of the day. Sutton is officially listed as questionable, but he didn't practice on Saturday and is probably more doubtful than questionable at this point. Hopefully you already made other plans in Week 1. It makes even more sense to bench him this week with the Broncos playing the second of two Monday games this week. Rookie Jerry Jeudy should see more work in his NFL debut, but he's more of a WR4/flex with more attention coming his way if Sutton sits. Tim Patrick and DaeSean Hamilton should fill out three-receiver sets against Tennessee.

From RotoBaller

Sep 12 4:53pm ET

Updating previous reports, Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) is truly 50-50 to play in Week 1, according to head coach Vic Fangio.

Fantasy Spin: With the Broncos playing Monday night, Sutton is far too risky to play as a WR3. Find a matchup play to put in his place this week.

From TheHuddle

Sep 12 4:13pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) is listed as questionable on the team's Week 1 injury report.

Fantasy Spin: Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Saturday that Sutton will play if he can do 10 jumping jacks before Monday night's game. Sutton's fantasy owners, meanwhile, are advised to play it safe and roll with another option for Week 1 as the wideout's official game status likely won't be decided until 8:30 p.m. ET Monday night.

From TheHuddle

Sep 12 3:50pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (shoulder) is questionable to play on Monday Night Football against the Titans. Sutton wasn't able to practice on Saturday and was originally listed as doubtful, though head coach Vic Fangio said "he has made great strides" and "is questionable in the truest sense." That's simply not something Sutton's fantasy managers can count on, considering the game is the last one on the Week 1 slate. Managers are better off looking elsewhere rather than counting on a 50-50 shot, unless there's a positive update on Sutton's status Sunday morning. Rookie receiver Jerry Jeudy would get a boost in targets if Sutton can't go.

From RotoBaller

Sep 12 2:03pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) is observing and not participating in practice Saturday, Sept. 12, as he deals with a sprained AC joint.

Fantasy Spin: We'll see what Sutton's status is on the Broncos' injury report settles things. But if not, there are still two days before the Broncos close out the Week 1 slate with the late Monday night game against the Titans, and that makes Sutton an even iffier proposition with fantasy GMs having to wait so long to gain clarity. Unless Sutton's fantasy owners also have A.J. Brown they can easily plug in instead, the sensible move is to plan on benching Sutton and rolling with another WR2/flex option.

From TheHuddle

Sep 11 5:53pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder), LB Von Miller (ankle) and LB Mark Barron (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 11. WR K.J. Hamler (hamstring) was limited. LB Bradley Chubb (knee), OL Graham Glasgow (ankle), TE Albert Okwuegbunam (ankle) and LB Trey Marshall (wrist) practiced in full.
