HOUSTON (AP) Houston Texans cornerback Bradley Roby has been suspended six games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Roby's suspension comes a day after receiver Will Fuller announced that he had also been suspended six games for violating the policy after he said he was prescribed a medication that he thought was OK but that was on the banned substances list. Both players will miss the rest of the season.

Roby is Houston's top cornerback and the suspensions are a blow to a team that is struggling through a 4-7 season that already led to the firing of coach Bill O'Brien.

Roby started 10 games this season and had one interception, 37 tackles and defended seven passes. He did not make the trip to Jacksonville on Nov. 8 for an undisclosed reason that the team said was not injury or COVID-19 related.

Roby was a first-round pick in 2014 and spent his first five seasons in Denver before joining the Texans last season.

George Kittle Dec 1 3:13pm ET

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (foot) and QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) have both been sidelined since Week 8, but head coach Kyle Shanahan is 'holding out hope for ... the last couple weeks.' 'I think they're in a similar boat, but that I mean that's not guaranteed. ... They're just starting to get into where they get on the field and not with us but on their own to do some stuff,' Shanahan said of their rehabs Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle was initially given about an eight-week window to return, but he quickly refuted that notion as did some prominent medical experts. In a best-case scenario, fantasy owners probably can't expect him back until Week 15 at the earliest, but Kittle at even 80 percent is a player many fantasy owners could use in their lineups. He's worth a stash in any league he's available if owners can find a spot for him. The return of a healthy Garoppolo would be nice for the 49ers, but he is obviously nowhere near as important to fantasy owners as Kittle.

Marquez Callaway Dec 1 3:10pm ET

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Marquez Callaway (knee) suffered a minor knee sprain in the Week 12 win over the Broncos and could miss a little time. Callaway hasn't been targeted in the passing game in the last three games and has just 15 receptions on 19 targets for 136 scoreless yards in his first nine NFL games with the Saints. The 22-year-old out of Tennessee represents receiver depth for New Orleans and also has contributed in the kick-return game in his rookie season. If anything, he's just a stash candidate in dynasty/keeper leagues. Tre'Quan Smith and Deonte Harris will continue battling for No. 3 duties behind Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.
